The Progression From the "Anti Christ" to the "False Christ"

Some Examples

Originally published in 2004

BACKGROUND and INTRODUCTION

We are repeatedly requested to explain the difference between the AntiChrist and the False Christ. We have explained that the Anti Christ is the one who will openly espouse doctrines contrary to the teachings of Jesus Christ. The AntiChrist and his people are very easy to identify - they openly oppose Christ.

The real problem comes with the False Christ who is the one who will try to pass himself as the real Jesus Christ. This is the one about whom we have been amply warned in the Holy Scriptures.

God is in Infinite Kindness has provided us with a living example of what the False Christ reasoning will be like. He has used someone who obviously must be one of the False Christ's advance men - Jerry Falwell (1).

In the excerpts of Falwell's blasphemy, reprinted below, you will clearly see what we have tried to explain. He is trying pass Gehena doctrines as if they were from Heaven.

We pray to God that the difference between the Anti Christ doctrines and the False Christ doctrines now become crystal clear to the unsuspecting faithful.

God is pro-war - According to Jerry Falwell

January 31, 2004

Following are key highlights of the original article (2)

Christians have struggled with the issue of war for centuries. Before Jesus arrived on the scene, all good people wrestled with war and the existence of evil. Thankfully, the Bible is not silent on the subject.

Before we examine war, though, let's look at the God of Peace...

Christians are to be people of peace.

One of the most notable biblical commands to live in peace is in Romans 12:18: "If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men."

...However, if one depends on the Bible as a guidepost for living, it is readily apparent that war is sometimes a necessary option. In fact, just as there are numerous references to peace in the Bible, there are frequent references to God-ordained war.

Many present-day pacifists hold Jesus as their example for unvarying peace. But they ignore the full revelation concerning Jesus pictured in the book of Revelation 19, where He is depicted bearing a "sharp sword" and smiting nations, ruling them with "a rod of iron."

Moreover, the Song of Victory in Exodus 15 hails God as a God of war: "The Lord is a man of war: the Lord is his name." ...

God even gives counsel to be wise in war. Proverbs 20:18: "Every purpose is established by counsel: and with good advice make war."

Today, America continues to face the horrible realities of our fallen world. Suicide bombings and terrorist actions are beamed live into our homes daily. This serves as a constant reminder of the frailty of our flesh.

It is apparent that our God-authored freedoms must be defended.

Throughout the book of Judges, God calls the Israelites to go to war against the Midianites and Philistines. Why? Because these nations were trying to conquer Israel, and God's people were called to defend themselves.

President Bush declared war in Iraq to defend innocent people. This is a worthy pursuit. In fact, Proverbs 21:15 tells us: "It is joy to the just to do judgment: but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity."

One of the primary purposes of the church is to stop the spread of evil, even at the cost of human lives. If we do not stop the spread of evil, many innocent lives will be lost and the kingdom of God suffers.

Finally, some reading this column will surely ask, "Doesn't the sixth commandment say, 'Thou shalt not kill?'"

Actually, no; it says: "Thou shalt not commit murder."

There is a difference between killing and murdering. In fact, many times God commanded capital punishment for those who break the law.

We continue to live in violent times. The Bible tells us war will be a reality until Christ returns. And when the time is right, Jesus will indeed come again, ending all wars.

Until that time, however, Christians must live as Galatians 6:2 instructs: "Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ."

COMMENTS

The key to understand the fallacy of Falwell's reasoning is the fact that he has only chosen Bible verses that support his twisted view of the teachings of Our Lord Jesus Christ. As we have said - coherence (3) - is paramount in understanding AND applying the Sacred Scriptures in our lives. He shows none.

As an example of what is meant by lack of coherence we will present the faithful with a few Biblical examples which, if taken out of context, would be disastrous.

Example 1

Isaac's Blessing which rightfully belonged to Esau, was stolen by Jacob through deception. [Genesis 27:1-29]

Out of context it could be said that the line of Isaac stopped right there and all the descendants through Jacob were tainted with deception - thus invalidating God's promise to Abraham.

Example 2

David declared that Jonathan's (the son of King Saul) love for him was even better than the love of women. [2Samuel 1:26]

Out of context it could be said that David and Jonathan had a very special physical relationship - read: homosexual.

Example 3

We often read about the disciple whom Jesus loved. That disciple was John the Evangelist. Since there were eleven other Apostles chosen by Jesus Himself, this could be considered a strange distinction.

We also read that upon Jesus' arrest....

"A certain young man, dressed only in a linen cloth, was following Jesus. They tried to arrest him, but he ran away naked..." [Mark 14:51]

Out of context the above messages would be contrary to the teachings of the Christian Faith.

Example 4

In the New Testament we also read that...

"On that night ...there will be two men (at times it is replaced with "people" out of embarrassment or ignorance) in the same bed: one will be taken away, the other will be left behind." [Luke 17:34-35]

Needless to say that out of context the above passage could be used to justify certain and very obvious sexual activities and the exceptions God was making based on the roles played by each man. (In this case it was an outright error of translation by the so-called experts. The two men were reclining at dinner as it was done in those days since there were no dinner tables as we know them today. The translators did not even realize that if they placed this scene in the context with the next scene, what was being described was not a two man sex orgy but a dinner since there also were two women in the kitchen preparing the food.)

We pray that the faithful can readily see that incoherent-out-of-context Biblical quotations are not even worth the paper they are printed on and should be summarily discarded.

CONCLUSION

In case our readers still have not completely understood the difference between the Anti and the False Christ logic and what lack of coherence means, we shall use the TIME Magazine cover story of the week of February 2, 2004. The central, albeit underlying, message of such story is that sexual intercourse is the same as love. The same deceitful story that has been circulating for decades - "Making Love" = "Sexual Intercourse"

This type of "doctrine" is typical of the AntiChrist thinking and not of the False Christ. This is why the book The DaVinci Code has been, and continues to be, such a best seller - it portrays a Jesus contrary - Anti - to the real Jesus. Remember, we must go through the Anti Christ (4) period so that most of humanity falls into the arms of the False Christ (5) (because they think they know Jesus and they do not - the promoters of the Inquisition thought the same and still do (6)).
