The purpose of Points to Ponder About was to stimulate thinking that would draw the disoriented Faithful back to God and away from the hypocritical duplicity of some religious institutions which are destroying the little faith left on earth. Another incoherence about Osama bin-Laden:

Why did not he attacked Saudi Arabia?

Do you wonder.... why didn't Osama bin-Laden turned against the Saudi government instead of turning against the US?

So do we.... considering that bin-Laden's chief and initial complaint was the establishment of US bases in the Middle East - specifically in Saudi Arabia. It logically follows that the US could not establish military bases there unless it was authorized by the Saudi authorities. Therefore - the logic, regardless of one's faith, shows that the Saudi government would be ultimately responsible for what bin-Laden blamed the US.

It looks that the "Cafeteria Syndrome" not only applies to the Vatican. The incoherent "pick-and-choose" behavior certainly is an interfaith syndrome.

Iran's plans for enriching uranium

How to know their real purpose

Do you wonder.... what the International Community (IC) could have done to definitively prove one way or another Iran's claim as to what their real intent about nuclear power was?

Quite simple... The IC could have offered to exchange Iran's unprocessed uranium for its equivalent amount in the form of uranium rods needed in a power plant. Although it appears that such was the IC offer - it was not.

The IC requested Iran to give up all their unprocessed uranium; then it would be enriched by a third party country, turned into fuel rods and then, only then, given it back to Iran. Given the IC's track record, Iran's leadership would have to be insane to accept such terms.

The option that we are talking about is an on-the-spot exchange. There is enough uranium in the hands of the IC that the IC did not need to have Iran's uranium on hand to turn it into fuel rods.

If Iran would have balked at such on-the-spot exchange, the IC would then have concrete proof that Iran's plans for enriching uranium was not for peaceful purposes; on the other hand, if Iran had gladly accepted the on-the-spot exchange, the IC would not have a valid excuse to try to carry out the third regime change in the Middle East.

Consider what a problem that would be for the IC if Iran would have gone along with such on-the-spot exchange! It would be as problematic as if Osama bin-Laden would show up at the UN headquarters and turn himself in....

Imagine .... Who would then be the "boogie man" to justify whatever the IC wanted to do in the world? Let's face it - the only thing that has not been blamed on Al Qaeda has been the Global Warming and, given enough time, and the twisted logic of Sara Flounders - "The best way to dramatically clean up the environment is to shut down the Pentagon. " (1) - they will be blamed for it too!

The relationship between the Russian Orthodox Church and Mr. Vladimir Putin

Do you wonder.... what is the relationship between the Russian Orthodox Church, Mr. Vladimir Putin and the Russian Government at large? (1)

The Financial Times has answered that question in detail....

“The Church of Sophia the Divine Wisdom ... in the Lubyanka was recreated upon the blessing of the patriarch of Moscow and All Russia and by the zeal of the Federal Security Service.” So reads a plaque on a church that sits beside the building that once housed the KGB – ironic given that the Soviet secret police imprisoned or executed tens of thousands of priests.

Further evidence of the curious relationship between Russia’s spymasters and the Orthodox Church is to be found down the street from the headquarters of the KGB’s successor, the Federal Security Service. The Sretensky monastery has a fully functioning reception office in the style of a government ministry, which is unusual in a Russian orthodox monastery – or in any monastery, for that matter.

It is also the spiritual headquarters of the “orthodox Chekists”, a conservative group of former spies (the nickname is derived from Cheka, the forerunner of the KGB) that surrounds Vladimir Putin, the prime minister and former president.

Church officials confirm that Archimandrite Tikhon Shevkunov, the head of the monastery, is an associate of Mr Putin, and even acts as his confessor – which makes him one of the country’s most influential clergymen.

Oh, yes.... the "Holiness" and "Sanctity" of it all.

A new document: The Myth of Overpopulation

Do you wonder.... how much of the overpopulation "problem" is really another myth created to manipulate the masses?

Wonder no more! You are invited to review a letter we sent out to those in authority sixteen years ago debunking: The Myth of Overpopulation

Note: Since that time Jane Fonda - the Godmother of the Overpopulation Myth - converted to Christianity and separated herself from CNN's father - Ted Turner.

The list of nuclear-capable countries extends beyond those who have built their own weapons

Do you wonder.... to what extent the general public is lied to in matters which are of global importance to all human beings?

Wonder no more... People "are fed" that the only nuclear countries in Europe are Britain and France, however Europe's dirty little secret is out and that's not quite the way it is.

As we read in a recent TIME article: (1)
[our highlighting]

....the list of nuclear-capable countries extends beyond those - Britain and France - who have built their own weapons. Nuclear bombs are stored on air-force bases in Italy, Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands - and planes from each of those countries are capable of delivering them. The Federation of American Scientists believes that there are some 200 B61 thermonuclear gravity bombs scattered across these four countries. Under a NATO agreement struck during the Cold War, the bombs, which are technically owned by the U.S., can be transferred to the control of a host nation's air force in times of conflict. Twenty years after the fall of the Berlin Wall, Dutch, Belgian, Italian and German pilots remain ready to engage in nuclear war.

As long as the general public continues to silently swallow all lies passed on, without even a prayer, they will continue until the last, and fatal one (2), is made manifest.
