Why a bloody war against terrorism will never be won

Do you wonder... why in a recent communication we stated: “Not only we ask our children to fight a ridiculous and bloody war (against ”terrorism“), a war that will never be won,...” ? Allow us to explain.

One must go to the origin of the Islamist extremist terrorist attacks: They do not want the US to “pollute” their countries. Iran itself labeled the US as the “Great Satan” decades ago.

Unfortunately, the US political leaders cannot understand how to exert influence in a country without making it “like the US” in all aspects. For example: When you walk into the main shopping mall in Ankara (Turkey’s capital) – if one ignores the writing in a foreign language one could think the location was New York, Houston or Orange County (California). Fortunately, the Turkish society, although mostly Muslim, is rather open and without extremes. However, that same shopping mall (and display windows) may not be acceptable in Kabul or Baghdad. We could write pages upon pages of examples which are more subtle yet more dramatic.

Therefore – what we are facing is a system-rejection phenomena which may or may not be justified (depending whom you ask), but exists just the same. In this case, those who are doing the rejecting use God as their reason and are willing to die (human bombs) just as the early Christian Martyrs who, for totally different reasons, believed that they were Glorifying God by becoming martyrs in the early centuries of Christianity.

Therefore, given an “irresistible force” —religious fanaticism until death, encountering an “unmovable object”— a refusal by Western Powers to change their methods to better influence said Muslim countries, will only yield more terrorism and greater reprisals until one or the other acknowledges defeat. Now, the question is: Which one?

Consider the following – during the Viet Nam war, the driving force behind the North Vietnamese was considerably less than the driving force generated by religious fanaticism; man has not change an iota in 6,000 years; therefore, the “human rules”, with the consequential outcome, that applied in the Viet Nam war still apply.

Mercifully, God will step in before humanity destroys itself to the joy of satan —nonetheless— there will be rivers of blood flowing before all will come to a brutal stop.

As we wrote on September 19, 2001 – Terrorism IS NOT the problem; the problem is Religious Fanaticism. The “brilliant and illuminated” world leaders have not caught on yet that they are fighting the wrong enemy thus using ALL the wrong weapons.

Mr. Sachs exalted position as a World Economic Guru

Do you ever wonder.... how people like Mr. Sachs (see Did you know that....? post of March 24th (1)) get into such exalted position as a World Economic Guru?

Do you doubt the Word of Jesus when He identified the Prince of this World? [John 12: 31, 14:30, 16:11]

Following are more Wikipedia (2) details on Mr. Sachs' work on post-Communist Economics....

Sachs is known for his work as an economic advisor to governments in Latin America, Eastern Europe, and the former Soviet Union. A trained macro economist, he led many countries in the transition from communism to market economies.

In 1985, Bolivia was undergoing hyperinflation and was unable to pay back its debt to the International Monetary Fund. Sachs, an economic advisor to the Bolivian government at the time, drew up an extensive plan, later known as shock therapy, to drastically cut inflation by liberalizing the Bolivian market, ending government subsidies, eliminating quotas, and linking the Bolivian economy to the US Dollar. After Sachs' plan was implemented, inflation fell from 20,000% per year to 11%, though according to critics, left the country worse off than before due to a rise in unemployment, a fall in industrial output, and a fall in per capita GDP.

In 1990, the Polish government introduced shock therapy to break from communism. Sachs and ex-IMF economist David Lipton advised the rapid conversion of all property and assets from public to private ownership. After initial economic shortages and inflation, prices in Poland eventually stabilized.

In late 1991, the Russian government invited Harvard to give advice on reproducing the Polish success. Harvard economist Andrei Shleifer advised President Yeltsin on privatization and macroeconomic issues during the early stages of Russia's reforms. Sachs resigned shortly thereafter.

As we have known - and mostly ignored - for nearly 2,000 years the key to the only solution to our problems was spelled out by Paul through his letter to the Ephesians:

For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood; but against principalities and power, against the rulers of the world of this darkness, against the spirits of wickedness in the high places. [Ephesians 6:12]

Then, our beloved Heavenly Mother, gently hammered upon Her children for 200 years (3) how we were to conduct such wrestling.... but, of course, the (deadly) "conveniences" of this world - the flesh - won out since most of the Faith "is worn" for others to see instead as a Road Map for living.

But what do we know....? After all..... all of this is from an unknown face. (4)

Roman Catholic statistics - Catholics per priest available

Do you ever wonder... Why, according to the published Roman Catholic statistics (1):

(a) In uncomfortable Africa, with 13.2 % of the Bishops of the world, there are 4,565 Catholics per priest available; while

(b) In comfortable Europe, with 33.0 % of the Bishops of the world, there are 1,347 Catholics per priest available; and

(c) In the most devout Catholic part of the world ( Latin America), with 25.5 % of the Bishops of the world, and where people are leaving the True Faith en masse to join anyone who may offer them some "tangible spirituality", there are 7,080 Catholics per available priest?

No, this is not another Mystery of the Faith. This is just another example of the true priorities of the Church Administration.

Church shows its hateful side in dumping Bozek

Do you wonder.... how badly the Roman Catholic Church continues to handle its Public Relations? It seems that it just could not get worse... but then.... it does.

Following is a letter published by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch Letters to the Editor (1) page:

Church shows its hateful side in dumping Bozek

St. Louis Post-Dispatch

Once again the Catholic church has revealed its ugly, hateful, and hypocritical side. It has chosen to dump Rev. Bozek because he has not followed the dictates of the Church. What offense he has actually committed is that he has failed to turn over the cash to the Archdiocese. It's that simple. Fortunately he is not alone in his resistence. Unlike the Catholic faithful of the past who went along with the Crusades, The Inquisition, the silence or complicity with the Nazis, the tolerance and enabling of the pedophile priests, the intransigence with regard to women priests, and a host of other ills; the Catholics of today are much smarter and more charitable than much of the clergy.

This nonsense will go on as the faithful leave the Church in droves. What will be left is the right-wing mentality of sin and damnation espoused by the likes of Opus Dei and other demagogues. How sad it is that all of the Church's moves and positions revolve around money and power. Where does love, tolerance, and forgiveness fit in this rapidly deteriorating institution? As a cradle Catholic, I am sick at heart and deeply sad at what might have been.

Gene Dalton
St. Louis

Let us not forget that this comes at the heels of the news (2) that the church has paid more than $2.6 billion in settlements and related expenses since 1950, according to an annual report released Friday by the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops.

Gorbachev: America's days as the world's superpower have ended

Do you wonder.... what America needs?

According to former Soviet leader M. Gorbachev....

America is in urgent need of its own 'perestroika' and its days as the world's superpower have ended, according to former Soviet Union leader Mikhail Gorbachev. (1)

"President Obama's proposals will be bigger than perestroika. I want to wish success to Obama and his Cabinet, because the problems he has to deal with are not easy ones. - M. Gorbachev (2)

Everyone is used to America as the shepherd that tells everyone what to do, - Mr. Gorbachev also said on a visit to London with Alexander Lebedev, the new majority owner of the London Evening Standard newspaper.

But this period has already ended. That's why there must be solidarity and partnerships. One single country can never rule the whole world, - he said.

Wanton violence on worldwide scale

Do you still wonder.... why events like the ones which took place in Germany and Alabama, not only continue but increase in frequency? Read on and you will find out...

These are just the very recent high profile events, however, they are nothing compared with the number of acts of wanton violence on worldwide scale which are only featured in the local news. The authorities, like Zombies equipped with recorded statements, keep repeating: "We don't understand." - "What could have caused this?" - "We never expected this to happen in our town."

To which we respond with our almost recorded message: "If we could transform the stupidity of political, religious, educational and social leaders into energy, we could supply the power to keep one whole Galaxy running."

Allow us to expand on our "recorded message".

+ Our youth is being brought up with wanton violence on TV, Cinema Movies and Video Games. The young adults are being fed the same fare. The 40+ crowd are fed the same minus the Video Games.

+ A prime time TV program can make money with only ten minutes of commercials for every thirty minutes of transmission. That means that the products being peddled for ten minutes are being sold and making money for their manufacturers.

If that is the brainwashing effect that ten minutes of usually dull and mindless commercials have, can you imagine what effect the other twenty minutes of transmission has on impressionable - and not so impressionable - minds?

Now - when one is watching a violent movie or playing a violent video game - what in effect is being done is "selling" the viewer, for the duration of the movie or game, on the destructive behavior being viewed or played out in fantasy land.

That is the answer to the mechanical "Why's" people keep repeating like mindless parrots when another tragedy strikes.

Are we the only brilliant and illuminated individuals in the world to see this? Of course not! (Or at least we certainly hope not!)

Then... Why doesn't anyone do anything about it? For the same reason the cell (mobile) phones will continue to multiply even though there are enough serious scientific studies showing the nefarious effects that they have on health: MONEY!

Not even the new world's darling - President Obama could stop all of this even if he wanted to.

Therefore... can you now better understand why God has taken the situation into His Own Hands and will see that our lifestyle will be essentially demolished and bring us to the Post Step No. 17 (4) stage?

This - brethren - are our Good News since, if God would not intervene in a totally decisive manner, we would auto destroy ourselves - soul first and then the totally corrupt body.

For those who with pollyannish demeanor and honey laden words tells you: Oh, God would not allow that. His Mercy will find another way.

We will answer: Yes, just as He did after His effort through Fatima, (5) to get us back on track - the track we lost 1,600 years ago, failed.

President Obama, enemmies, Kenya

We wonder.... how long it will be before "someone" stages some kind of crisis in Kenya to place President Obama behind the proverbial eighth ball. At the rate that he is "enlisting" the most powerful enemies a leader could have in the planet, maybe that would be the least important of the possible occurrences.

[Devotion of the First Saturday of the Month]

It is wise to pray for the continuity of an unjust world?

Do you ever wonder.... if other individuals besides our Family see the true reality that we are living through? It seems that the author of the following blog post, which was sent to us by one of our Family members either read our pages or has his eyes wide open. [The highlights - color and bolding - are from the sender and not from the individual posting and bearing his soul - all else is the same.]

"Lord's will be done"

Sabbath eve, March 6, 2009

Today I drove a highway between Seguin and Lockhart. The scenery resembled moonscape. Cattle stand on barren fields waiting for someone to feed them. The radio speaks of financial disaster - people around the land lose jobs in record numbers. The stock market falls in stair step fashion - any temporary gain is followed by losses that not only wipe out gains but further propel the market downward. Businesses fold one after another after another; seemingly everyone waits for a government bailout.

I hear of people gathering on courthouse steps to pray for rain. Others pray that they get to keep their job or that somehow they won't lose their house.

My first impulse is to join those prayers.

But who benefits if the system in place survives?

I think back to the story of Moses - how he warned the Egyptian pharaoh again and again about mistreatment of his people. And I wonder, are we the new Egypt - a stiff-necked hard-hearted people, worried only about our own plight in the world yet oblivious of the cost the rest of the world must pay to bear our weight?

Do we consider the plight of a third world worker and the conditions in which he or she works to make the clothes we wear? Or that 70% of the oil we consume comes from foreign lands and the people that live atop those lands rarely benefit from the sale of their own natural resources?

Do we consider that our own government spies on us, tortures and kills people around the world on our behalf? That this same government implements rules that favor the few and oppress the many all in the name of a free market not only in other lands but here as well?

I sold my corn today for $4.25 a bushel. Anyone here have the guts to tell me that's fair? How much money you think a poor Iraqi or Ecuadorian got for the tank of gas I bought made from oil under his land? How much do you think some Chinese worker earned for what he or she did today?

Forgive me if I fail to make your prayer ritual.

About the best I can do at the moment is to pray, Lord's will be done.

And then wait in fear for what that may entail.

As rain falls on the just and the unjust, so shall the fire.

note: I don't blame the people that paid me $4.25 a bushel for the corn. That's actually higher than the current spot price and they paid me above market price voluntarily. The price they're receiving for beef cattle has fallen as well.

To which we say: Amen!

Why many Catholics concede more importance to the Saints than to the Eucharistic Presence?

Do you ever wonder.... why if the Eucharistic Presence of Jesus is indeed the presence His Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity as the Catholic Faith teaches (and indeed is) and is a key fundament of the Catholic Faith - most Catholics get so emotional over the relics of Saints and "miracle performing" statues and pay so little attention to the Real Presence of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist?

The clue to the answer may be found here.

Tracking Louis Freeh and Robert Philip Hansen

Do you ever wonder.... whatever happened to Louis Freeh, the FBI Director during the Clinton era and superior of Robert Philip Hansen (1) - both members of the same Opus Dei friendly parish?

Wonder no more. It seems that someone (2) has made a point of tracking his activities since then.

(1) Robert Philip Hansen - probably the greatest traitor to the US.
