The War With Iraq
Our Position
August 15, 2002
This war is theologically, morally, politically and sociologically wrong, and, as such, miguel de Portugal, through The M+G+R Foundation, denounces it.
However, God will allow, not cause it nor condone it, just allow this war as He, by hardening Pharaoh's heart, allowed the demise of Pharaoh's military supremacy in the days of Moses. God had a very clear and Paternal purpose in mind - He wanted His People freed from the Pharaoh's bondage as well as the demise of his military supremacy.
If He had not hardened Pharaoh's heart, the People of God would have left in peace and Pharaoh's military power would have remained intact. God knew, however, that Pharaoh would have used this power in the future to forcibly impose his will on others. The knowledge of this future scenario did not leave God any other choice but to allow, not cause, but allow the demise of Pharaoh's unchallenged military supremacy.
Once again, God is presented with a similar scenario [2] and, as in the past, He has acted in the same manner by hardening the hearts of the neo-Pharaohs of the George W. Bush Administration. The Cheney-Rumsfeld-Ashcroft war against Iraq will trigger the First Step of the Sequence of Events Leading to the End of These Times and, with it, the fulfillment of all that it entails. [3]
By acting thus, God - in response to the prayers and acts of reparation by His Elect, and after delaying it by as many as ten years - will:
+++ Minimize the suffering which is due to the world [4] while He...May Almighty God be Praised for He is Just and Merciful!
+++ Dispense Justice as He...
+++ Fulfill every Prophecy related to the End of These Times. [5]

[1] A de facto Declaration of War which will eventually manifest itself.
[2] The enormous and unchallenged financial, technological and military power which the United States of America now possesses, in the hands of the messianic-minded triumvirate headed by Cheney, Rumsfeld and Ashcroft, will be used in ways which God will not allow. Since the Cheney-Rumsfeld-Ashcroft messianic axis is now unchallenged just as Pharaoh's power was then, only God can confront them and bring them to their knees.
[3] We realize that many good people will be shocked by our statements and we regret so [6]. Many more will not believe a word that we have pronounced. To them, miguel de Portugal says:Brethren, if you believe in God, then you must know that He is above all and nothing can occur in the Universe unless He allows it. Even the actions of satan are subject to the Divine Will since he, who fell from Divine Grace because he would not serve, has no choice but to serve the Divine purposes of His Creator.[4] To facilitate its RedemptionWhen He allows what I have spoken of in His Name - some of you will then believe that it was He Who sent miguel de Portugal to prepare the world for His Second Coming.
Others, however, will refuse to believe. This does not surprise us; after all, my Lord and Master, Jesus Christ, brought back to life the already rotting corpse of His friend Lazarus, yet, shortly thereafter He was called a fraud and deemed a danger to the Religious Extremists of His time - thus, He was eliminated. Should I expect a better earthly consideration?
