I had been wondering about an expression in the Bible which is repeated in various occasions when describing the reign of our Lord. It is said that after his return, our Lord will reign with an "iron rod".

 

If the people which will be with Him are the resurrected in Christ, the gathered people by the angels at the end of this age, and those jews which are scattered among the nations which are considered worthy people to God, while, at the same time satan will be chained in the bottomless pit until the end of the millennium, against whom and why our Lord will need an "iron rod" to reign?

 

I know you are loaded with work. If you think it is possible to bring some light without it been an interruption or an extra burden to you, I will appreciate your answer.

A. According to what God revealed to m de P the moment he read your question, the meaning of reigning with an iron rod is: Reigning with Justice - equally for all.

As we have often said - When we pray for "the Will of God be done on Earth as it is in Heaven" we are, in essence asking for a Reign with Justice, since the Perfect Will of God is Perfectly Just. The natural consequence of a reign with Justice is a reign of Peace.

There can never be Peace unless there is Justice. That is as impossible as expecting the water to be dry.

Note from miguel de Portugal: We are publishing the following letter for several reasons - all intended to strengthen and uphold the Catholic Faith. The letter is from an individual well known to us and who has proven to be truthful and sincere over the years. We will respond or comment upon it in the usual "Answer" part after the letter text.

When I was a teen in high school, I knew John Justin O'Connor, before he joined the Christian Brothers. He made an unsuccessful attempt to molest (1) me when he was 18 and I was still a minor.

I had previously noted that there was something wrong with him. This confirmed it. As I was stronger then him, he did not get anywhere with me. But what I noted about him during that brief incident was that he was 'of another spirit', as if some other entity was in control of him. His manner and what I say in his eyes was demonic. And this encounter occurred in the church itself!

Immediately prior to this incident, O'Connor had been openly flirting with a girl. This made his behavior all the more bizarre. My attempts to alert others (both my peers and responsible adults in the church) were effectively met with:


While I was 'undamaged' by this, I realized immediately the evil of all of this. Upon reflection, decades later, I realize that many of the adults, cleric or lay who told me to 'shut up' can be categorized as 'friendly to Opus Dei'. (2)

I realized then, that O'Connor was an 'accident waiting to happen'. I was correct:


My observations about the Christian Brothers I met, dating from the 1970s, is that they  seemed to be both overtly homosexual in manner, and as being predatory. I concluded long ago that kids like O'Connor were somehow 'groomed' for membership in the order. He was quite close to several of them in the parish where I knew him. (4)

The tragedy of this is that IF persons like myself - who were observant and honestly reported warped behavior - were heeded, many potential clerical abusers would have been stopped. Before they did vast damage to souls.

A. Thank you for sharing with all of us this experience which, as the saying goes: Speaks volumes. We wish to highlight the fact that, through the Grace of God, and in spite of all that you have experienced "within the Temple and its Masters", you have successfully kept the Catholic Faith well separated from what is known as the Catholic Church. That, in itself, is a great gift from God.

You speak of  O'Connor being "'of another spirit', as if some other entity was in control of him". This mechanism is explained in detail in the document (5) we composed showing why reincarnation does not exist no matter how many scientific "proofs" confirms that it does. The better we all understand said mechanism the easier it is to disarm evil deceptions from the supernatural world.

Your closing sentences speak the absolute truth. As we have often said, sexual abusers are sick individuals who must be immediately removed from the ministry and provided with psychological and spiritual assistance. Those who cover up for them, whether Popes, Cardinals, Bishops and/or laity, are the criminal ones. If we had placed more of those in jail, this ongoing scourge would have been "stopped cold on its tracks" long ago.

Due to the forcible introduction of the "mass of Ratzinger", valid reception of sacramental Communion is now largely impossible. The same would apply to visits to the Blessed Sacrament in the Tabernacle.

Even if you could find an open church (good luck!), as to what is in the Tabernacle: "...He is not here...". Ditto for those churches which have Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament.

While one may always make a Spiritual Communion anytime, it was formerly comforting for persons like myself to visit www.savior.org; which had 24/7 web cam Exposition. Yet now, what is displayed in the monstrance on that site would have to be the result of the "Ratzinger mass", as that convent is subject to the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, PA.

If it is the Will of God.... Could you take a picture of the Blessed Sacrament, either in a Pyx or upon a Paten, and post it on your site?

This would be a great spiritual comfort to those of us who are aware of the present realities, yet desire to console Him in the literal Sacramental form.

As the Eucharist transcends Time and Space, a photo would suffice in these Times.

Sites like the one you recommended to us are not to be relied on. They sell, sell, and continue to sell products that people will buy when running scared. That is their objective, therefore, their messages are geared to that: Increase commerce and not spiritual preparation for what is already unfolding upon the world.

In any case - The American Dream will disappear as part of the disappearance of the Global Dreams.

As the saying goes, the  "Party Is Over", dear lady. Make no mistake.

The only thing left to do is pray for ourselves and others and to strengthen our faith to enable us to navigate through these most dangerous and treacherous waters of the Apocalypse. There is nothing else to do that will produce any kind of good fruit.

A. Thank you for the referral. As you kindly acknowledged, we just do not have the time or internet resources to view the presentation and, in reality, we do not need to see it. We know in great detail where humanity is heading and why God will stop it on its tracks.

However, we thank you very much for bringing this to the attention of many of our readers.

Believe it or not, many of those who have been familiar with us for over a decade (on line already 14 years) think that : We will just have three days of darkness; the guys with the black hats (traditionally the bad guys wear black hats) will be eliminated; the Sun will gloriously rise on the third day; and the family will take a drive to the nearest McDonald's for an All American celebration.

We are not being sarcastic although we have used a parable to accurately describe the mindset of most. Anything that we can do to show our readership (in over 105 countries) that: (a) What is about to happen is worse than what is known as Noah's Flood; and (b) God was left with no other choice than to allow it, is welcome.

We will take this opportunity to again illustrate, from a different perspective, how far gone humanity is. In yesterday's mid-day TV news in Spain a new kind of restaurant was featured as a news item. Their claim to fame: Erotic Cuisine. Our disgust was so great that we turned the newscast off as soon as we were able to reach the remote control.... they were about to show some examples.

Remember..... Spain is Opus Dei country. St. John Bosco was able to single-handedly (with Jesus and Mary, of course) Evangelize an anti-clerical Italy with a radical anti-clerical government.... who actually helped him (3). Opus Dei has controlled institutions in Spain since the Franco's days and the country's moral standard continues to drop to the point that individuals have taken their parish to court demanding that their baptismal records be erased from the books, and marriages (civil or Sacramental) are almost a thing of the past.

I will never forget what transpired that July night, and how it Happened. It is like a video recorded in my brain. It had to do with the enacting of the launching of a nuclear war. My reaction was that of a frantic and deeply emotional plea for Mercy.... then "something" happened... and then I knew, without a shred of a doubt, that a delay had been granted. The certainty was such that next day I started to prepare my return to to the U.S. since at that time I was in Salamanca, Spain.

On the nights of April 17th and 18th there was an almost eerie replay of the scene/situation described above. It also had to do with the launching of a nuclear war. This time, my reaction was extreme calm and no pleas for Mercy. The words that came out of my mouth were: We have been amply warned and sadly we have not responded as we should have. It is now too late.

We will let each reader, with the illumination of the Holy Spirit of God, draw their individual conclusion.

Acknowledging before God and man that we do not deserve it, we still hope for a Green Apocalypse (as that initiated by a Gamma Ray Burst (3)) as opposed to a Nuclear Apocalypse triggered by a massive nuclear exchange.

There are two areas that today we wish to clarify: (a) Near death experiences; and (b) The promise Jesus made for Mercy Sunday: "...that whoever approaches the Fount of Life on this day will be granted complete remission of sins and punishment."

(b) The promise Jesus made for Mercy Sunday does not, in any way, supersede the Sacrament of Reconciliation.

In recent Mass Readings.... we are reminded that:

(a) To claim the qualifier of "Christian" does not guarantee Eternal Life. As John the Evangelist reminds us:

To believe in God and that Jesus is the Christ means that the individual in question must strive with all his heart to live His Word beginning with His Commandments. There are no short cuts and no exceptions.

and that....

(b) The model for a Christian community was established immediately upon Jesus ascension:

The only vestige of that behavior kept after the Imperialization of the Church was placing the faithful resources at the feet of the Successors of the Apostles. The problem arose when the successors of those original Apostles promptly used most of it for their own worldly pursuits. Whatever little went (and goes) to the needy is done with great fanfare so that the Faithful would believe that most is going to such truly Christian purpose.

In retrospect - after seeing what was done with what the man who became miguel de Portugal gave to the Church and Church related enterprises when God told him leave all behind and follow Me - if I would have to do it all over again,  I would not even give them time of the day. We have so many first person stories that they would fill hundreds upon hundreds of pages. All of them help me fully understand the why of the rejection of the Faith by many people.

It is up to us - all of us! -  to help the Elect, who have fled Christianity, in general, or Catholicism, in particular, to see that the problem is not Christianity nor Catholicism, but the criminals who mostly have controlled the Administration of Christianity (1) for 1600 years.

Also take note that, as we have often said, the head of a particular faith, for example, the Pope of Roman Catholicism is not necessarily the controlling force during his Administration. Did you know that... the fundamental reasons for which applied Christianity would fail were clearly stated in the New Testament and ignored by most?

First - The prophecy that it would fail....

....But yet the Son of man, when he cometh, shall he find, think you, faith on earth? [Luke 18:8]

In modern English [NIV] (to avoid misunderstandings):

....However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth? [Luke 18:8]

Second - What man has not done.... which has caused applied Christianity to fail...

If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple. [Luke 14:26]

Of course, Jesus is not using the word "hate" as we understand it. "Hate" is an impossible attribute for God. So then, what is He referring to?

This is what He is referring to....

....Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with thy whole heart, and with thy whole soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind: and thy neighbour as thyself. [Luke 10:27]

We shall now paraphrase Luke 14:26 as it was meant....

It is that simple! Once the proverbial "chips are down" God is placed on the back seat by most while everyone else is given priority.

The question that should immediately come to mind but, which is as quickly swept under the proverbial carpet is:


Well, Jesus clearly spelled out the fate of those who have not fulfilled those requirements. Yet, some will then say: "How could I safely done most of that? That is not fair!"

Rejoice!  There is a way to fulfill all of those requirements in a practical and safe way in the 21st century.

When any of the requirements clearly set by Jesus cannot be literally fulfilled for many valid reasons, there are other ways, just as valid, to fulfill them on an ongoing basis.


 I do this regularly because I have been clearly moved by God to do so. You are invited to do the same and fulfill His requirements for "...possessing the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world."

A. God has not given miguel de Portugal any updates regarding such time fame. Anything that we may say about this matter would be sheer speculation and not prophecy.

If the quoted statement should not have been made, we are confident that God will make miguel's word good even if it is only symbolically, as He did back in 1997. (2)

miguel does not make up the information published on these pages, although sometimes he may reveal some things that he should not (2).

When God granted the ten years compression of time as the result of  President Clinton's cooperation,  miguel was informed immediately in 1997, even though he did not know why the compression was granted. He only found out the reason as the result of an interview with Gorbachev that took place in 2002. (3)

That is, what was going to take place in 1998, took place in 2008: the beginning of the collapse of the world's financial system, which will soon lead to the complete collapse of our "civilization" and the End of These Times. Remember, the Financial System is Mammon's World; as it begins to crumble so does the hold satan has on the world.

We wish to thank each and every one of you who took the time to send to us a loving note wishing us a Blessed Easter.

If it had been possible, we would have responded to each one individually; however, circumstances did not allow it.

We also take this opportunity to express our regret for any other mail sent to us which has gone unanswered. If we are able to, within the next several weeks, we will respond to any that required an answer.

The Penance offered as part of our Holy Week exercises is still ongoing albeit at a mitigated level. If God allows it, we will share with you what constituted such Penance, a Penance which has even caused a noticeable weight loss.

The purpose of such sharing will be to illustrate that true Penance is not what we conveniently select to offer to God; it is accepting and carrying through with whatever He chooses, when and how,  no matter how difficult it may be for the individual in question.

As you know..... this is the time of the year when the Mass Readings focus on the Acts of the Apostles.

We believe that it will be quite edifying to review what verses from the Acts of the Apostles have been left our of the Mass Readings.

A few questions/issues have been raised by two readers which may be of theological  interest to our full readership. They follow.

Question/Concern No. 1

Response: Our prayers accompany you but you must cooperate with God for them to have any effect. Of course we know that you do not think of yourself more important than Jesus. You are a wonderful, humble and giving child of God, however, it is not how one think but how satan causes one to act.

Let's review the following parable:

It is not what we say or think - It is what we ultimately do that counts!


Question/Concern No. 2

A Gentleman writes:  I am writing to inquire whether you know of any saintly person alive today who is graced with communication from the Lord in a manner such as that of Padre Pio or Sister Faustina.

My best friend from my childhood committed suicide in 2009. I have prayed for his soul at 3.00 p.m. almost every day and offered all my Sunday communions since he died to ask for his release from Purgatory, but I don't know if he is definitely saved.

It would ease my mind considerably if there was someone more worthy than me that Jesus would answer to whom I could put my inquiry. You don't disclose the source of your Divine encouragement postings, but if that source is still alive, perhaps they could assist.

Response: If it were the Will of God, He would have allowed you to know the destiny of your friend's soul. If He has not, it is not due to your level of worthiness; it may be because He does not want to reveal that information to you.

Who knows? He may be applying all those very needed merits associated with your prayers and Communions to souls who have no one to pray for them; souls who could even be worthier than your friend, but not known to the world as you friend was.

As most Catholics know "the Church" has always said that suicide automatically results in Eternal Damnation. Although they have soften their stance, many "Shepherds" and Faithful still believe that such is the case, which, of course, is not true. It all depends on the circumstances.

Judas committed suicide because He did not trust in the Mercy of God even though he had been exposed to God in the Flesh for over three years. The "good thief" went straight to Heaven, bypassing Purgatory [...today you will be with me in Paradise...], because, at the last minute, he acknowledged Jesus as God, acknowledged his sins, accepted the just punishment and appealed to His Mercy.

May those who have Ears, hear and Eyes, see.

The Old Testament reading for the 5th Sunday of Lent is from the Book of Jeremiah:

Although the above prophecy has been passed by the alleged theo-experts as referring to the birth of Jesus Christ, that is not the case. This prophecy is clearly referring to the time after the End of These Times. Then, and only then: I will give my law in their bowels, and I will write it in their heart: and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying: Know the Lord: for all shall know me from the least of them even to the greatest.

A far cry from the blood-stained imposed "christianity" of the last 1,600 years.


Did you know that.... the entire Book of Abdias (Obadiah) has been omitted from Roman Catholic Mass readings?  May each reader draw his/her own illuminated conclusion as to why Abdias was completely censored.

In response, and query, to your story about the young lady who could not forgive her offenders. (1)
 
Actually, how does one put that practice into action? What does one actually say to an offender who refuses to even acknowledge they did a wrong?
 
Is this forgiveness internal between the victim and God or must the victim somehow approach the offender who believes he did no wrong and is NOT sorry but feels HE should be apologized to?
 
My only thought about this is recalling Our Lord's Words when He said  "...forgive them Father for they know not what they do..."   which seems to suggest no contact with the offender(s) at all.

A. Excellent question! What we speak about is that: we should strive to be in a "state of forgiveness". Ready to pray for and forgive any offender. It does not matter whether the offender assumes the guilt or not. That is between the offender and God. Just because an offender does not admit wrongdoing Divine Justice is negated. He/she will have to face Divine Justice sooner or later.

Of course, if at all possible, Divine Mercy demands that the offending party knows of your perception of his/her transgression so that he/she has the opportunity to make the appropriate corrections before God by apologizing to you.

Although rarely, sometimes - depending on circumstances - miguel will approach someone who may be "acting offended" towards him. Being that he has no idea for the reason of such behavior, he will say something like: "Your attitude towards me has changed. If I have offended you somehow, please let me know how so that I may take the appropriate corrective steps if necessary."  We say "if necessary" because if there has been no clear/obvious offense, there will not be an apology.

For example, if someone becomes offended because miguel has repeatedly and politely asked him not to use obviously offensive language during a conversation, miguel is certainly not going to apologize for it, even if the individual is most offended. Had miguel used abusive language (God forbid!) chastising the individual for his offensive language, then miguel owes an apology for the way he conveyed the message, but not for the message itself. If the recipient refuses to accept the apology, that is his problem. miguel's "account with God" has been settled.

It seldom gets to that point because, if miguel has acted improperly towards someone, God will notify him right away so that he may immediately go back to the individual and apologize. Most of the time the individual did not even notice the improper behavior..... but God has!

In the last Divine Encouragement post, once again, Our Lord speaks about the importance of deferring to his Will.  Part of our comments regarding His Words was:


Although we have published (1) (2) two full documents about deferring to the Will of God, we wish to illustrate its importance in a more every-day type of situation which may be more accessible to all. Please bear with us since this is part of the growing up story of miguel de Portugal; a period throughout which, unbeknownst to him, God was demonstrating to him why deferring to "the will of a wiser one" (his parents, in this case) was always the best route.

As miguel was growing up and was allowed to "play outside" with his friends, the first condition his parents placed on him was that miguel had to play right in front of his house and not even get close to the street. The sequence from that first step follows:

Third: miguel could play around the entire block - all four side of the city block on which his house was. Still, without getting close to the street.
Fourth: miguel could cross the street which his house faced.
Finally: miguel could cross all streets, etc., etc.

The above sequence progressed through miguel's action and his parent's reaction. miguel knew that if he followed his parents limitations he would be safe, so miguel did. As he was obedient to their limitations and was able to handle the new challenges, his parents would give miguel more freedoms. All based on the fact that miguel trusted the wisdom of the limits imposed on him by his parents and they trusted miguel's proven compliance to the limits imposed for his benefit.

As miguel was growing up he never felt limited; on the contrary, he felt free and secure within the level of freedom he could enjoy.

One day, when miguel had reached the "mature" age of 16 years old, he was going to one of the many dances (that he and his schoolmates were always organizing or invited by friends from other schools.) As miguel was leaving his father asked: Why don't you take the car? miguel's answer was as simple as it was honest: "No, because I am going to have a couple of drinks at the party."

[In the society miguel lived within, a drivers' license could be obtained at the age of 16 and controlled consumption of alcoholic beverages, under adult supervision, was always an option.]

miguel  father's response, as the result of his statement, was swift: "In that case, you call me whenever you are finished and, regardless of the hour, I'll get dressed and pick you up in the car."  And so he did.... at 4:30 AM ! May God Bless his soul!

Blessedly, miguel was a totally free and secure child and teenager (3) as long as he remained within the ever expanding circle of safety his parent's set for him, at every stage, for miguel's own good.

Now then,  Considering:

It logically follows that if we sincerely strive to do His Will in all, we will be as free and as safe as any human could possibly be in all areas of our lives. Actually, we will have more freedom than anyone else. As we place our complete trust in Him, a whole new Universe of joyful opportunities becomes manifest.

Try it!  You just will not like it; you will love it!

Today we will "add some color" to this matter as we discuss a very recent encounter.

This young Christian lady (early thirties if not late twenties), together with her mother and brother, had a horrific experience with her father. An experience which colors her life and her Christianity. After she poured her soul out about this experience, brought up as the result of the problems she is having with business neighbors due to envy, we explained to her that the only solution was to pray for her father (first, since the trauma is a major one) and then for her business neighbors, since nothing else would resolve those issues.

She confessed that she just could not bring herself to either pray for their conversion or to forgive them. This young lady is as gentle and caring as anyone could hope to be, yet she cannot bring herself to do either. We explained to her, what we have already done on these pages, that forgiveness dos not mean that you want to go out and have coffee with the forgiven offender, etc., etc. She just could not. Would not even try. Therefore, we asked her to pray to God for such Grace since the consequences of her stance was most serious.

She was quite taken aback when we pointed out that "..the same measure that you shall mete withal, it shall be measured to you again." and that she is setting up the stage for her judgment every time she prays the Lord's Prayer "...forgive me my trespasses as I forgive those who trespass against me...".

Later on I thought about explaining to her what happened with her father - which God had revealed to me - which had triggered the events she described. I thought that it would move her to forgiveness once she knew. God would not allow us to do so. Why? As He explained:  She has to believe the importance of forgiveness as an act of faith and not because she  would understand what triggered her father's situation.

You have heard us say many times: "I know, not believe, but know" . What needs to be understood is that before I knew (whatever it was)  I believed it as an act of faith; then, God revealed to me the spiritual mechanism. Some of those revelations we have already shared with you; others we are not able to do so. Why? I have no idea as to the reason - that is God's business and, as a "professional gofer", that is just fine with me.

In case you wonder.... which texts from the very important Book of the Prophet Daniel have been edited out of the Mass readings, you do not need to wonder anymore, Here They Are!

As I type this, EWTN is showing a Mass in honor of St. Patrick on this, his feast day, in St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York City.  Terrible as it may sound, I had to stop watching this Mass.  You may well ask:  Why would I do this?!

Here goes.  From the moment the procession of the clergy began, there were several of them who acknowledged the presence of people in the pews.  Several of them shook hands with the mayor of New York City, who is sitting in the front pew, in plain view of everyone.  This included Cardinal Dolan himself, who not only shook hands with the mayor, but with other individuals sitting in the same pew.

Then, when the homily began, the homilist gave honor to our military personnel, which is of itself, a good thing to do. When the camera zeroed in on the cardinal when an ovation was given to the military members present, he was clapping and "bravo-ing" with the best of them.

OK.  My question is:  Am I wrong in concluding that Jesus Himself was not being given the honor and the glory He so richly deserves by His representatives here in Earth?  It seemed to me that the clergy was more interested in paying homage to certain individuals than to their Savior.  Shouldn't they have been more reverent, more focused on Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, as they processed down the aisle, instead of nodding and smiling at those in the pews?  I found this very distracting.

Even in our parish, the pastor does this nodding and smiling at everyone as he walks down the aisle.  He even waves and blows kisses at babies. 

If I sound frustrated, it's because I am.  I find the behavior of certain clergy in these days to be, at times, unacceptable. 

Am I overreacting?  I would appreciate a response, if you have the time and the inclination.

A. You ask: Am I overreacting?

The simplest way that we can answer your question is as follows: If you had been physically at that Mass and were sitting on the front pew and, faced with what you describe, you had stood up and walked out, we would have cheered you (after leaving the Sanctuary, of course!).

The lack of due reverence to the Eucharistic Presence of Our Lord Jesus Christ - at all levels - is disgusting and greatly offensive to Heaven.

Let us remember what Mary said about this through Garabandal:

And that was back in 1961 - 1965. Therefore, let's not blame the Second Vatican Council. Since then, in the late eighties for example,  many Seminarians in the Houston-Galveston (then) Diocese (1) referred to those in Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament as "Cookie Worshipers".

Wherever we have visited over the years - whether in Rome or Lourdes or Santiago de Compostela or Fatima, just to mention big centers of "devotion" - all we find is idolatry. The "Faithful" come in the chapels, churches and/or Basilicas and will do everything with and/or to the statues and/or relics present  - kissing, touching, embracing, bowing, kneeling, etc. - while the Tabernacle is ignored. We have even witnessed that behavior when the Blessed Sacrament is exposed for adoration.

When miguel visits the Blessed Sacrament at any place outside our private Chapel, he does so at a time when he expects the church to be essentially empty and, even then, he tries to sit on the first pew to avoid having to see blatant idolatry passing for Catholicism.

Images, statues, relics and sacramentals all have a valid function: Assist us in maintaining and enhancing our "connection" with God and His Heavenly Court. When they become the object of adoration (implied by behavior), that is idolatry

We wish to take this opportunity to, once again, highlight the fact that the Central Focus of Catholicism is the Eucharistic Presence of our Lord Jesus Christ. Whomever does not act accordingly in the Holy Presence is not Catholic, regardless of any claim made.

We must pray for such idolaters because, as Jesus said through Luke:

There have been many rumors over the past 15 years or bizarre sex/occult rituals being performed at the Vatican involving ranking members of its Administration and young boys or girls. This has been written about by everyone from Malachi Martin to Svali (an alleged survivor of the same). This information might lead one to think that such tales might not be entirely fictional.

During the recent Consistory, I observed that Maledict was wearing a miter which had two prominent 8-pointed stars on the front, situated as to be directly over his brow. He has worn this miter before. It rang 'alarm bells' in my mind.

According to the rebooted consistory ritual prepared by the lead papal MC, Msgr Guido Marini, the newly-designed cardinal's ring is described as follows:


The ring is presented with these words: "Receive the ring from the hands of Peter and know that your love for the Church is strengthened by the love of the Prince of the Apostles."

Now about the 8-pointed star...a diligent search of my memory banks and sources on Christian iconography show no prior use of an 8-pointed star for Mary. Nor are Sts. Peter and Paul portrayed with Mary or a symbol of her. So, are they really figures of these saints?

The 8 pointed star is a Gnostic symbol, known as the Octagram of creation. It is related to Venus, and also sacred to Ishtar. In Nordic traditions the octagram is used to invoke magic and also as a protecting ideogram. (2) (3)

This would seem to tie-into the symbolism on Ratzinger's coat of arms. And the c. 500 year old floor pattern of St. Peter's Basilica. (4)

The ultimate origin of the symbol dates to the Sumerians (4000BC), and their deity, Inanna: goddess of sexual love, fertility, and warfare. (5) She was worshpped via sacred prostitution. Persons of asexual or hermaphroditic bodies and feminine men were particularly involved in the worship and ritual practices of Inanna's temples. (6)

Inanna's name is commonly taken from Nin-anna "Queen of Heaven" (from Sumerian NIN "lady", AN "sky"). Hence, in a extremely twisted way, the Vatican has 'spun' this 8-pointed star into a symbol for Mary (who is venerated under the title of 'Queen of Heaven').

As the only person seemingly credited with this design is Msgr. Guido Marini, one is tempted to ask: 'what else did he study?.

Just when we think that maybe, just maybe, we "have seen and heard it all" we come across something like:

Did you know that David Allen Bawden is a Traditionalist Catholic recognized as Pope Michael I by a small group of conclavists based in Delia, Kansas, USA? (1)

He was elected by a group of six lay sedevacantists, which included himself and his parents, as they felt the Catholic Church had departed too far from the teachings of Jesus, and that the popes elected since the death of Pope Pius XII in 1958 were all invalid as they were modernists. Conclavists and some sedevacantists believe that if the College of Cardinals will not or cannot elect a valid pope, lay Catholics can do so, under the principle of "epikeia" (equity).

Unlike other papal claimants, David Bawden's election did not involve any previously ordained clergy from the Catholic Church. Bawden attended two seminaries run by the Society of Saint Pius X, but did not receive orders from either.

We must admit that this was a "triple shocker" since we also learned the name of "a principle" which we denounce regularly, without having known its name. The principle's name is:  epikeia

Upon searching its meaning we learned that it is the fancy name for: "The end justify the means." According to the Wiki Dictionary:

1. (philosophy, theology) The principle in ethics that a law can be broken to achieve a greater good.

The third part of this "trinity of shocks" is how seriously this outright insanity has been taken by so many.

Many have heard that talking to plants make them develop better. Much ink has been used to explain and/or justify it in magazines, newspapers, etc. Logically, this idea has been dismissed by many, including many of our friends the scientific community until Marcel Joseph Vogel (1917- 1991), a research scientist for IBM's San Jose facility for 27 years, who has accumulated over 100 patents in his career, gave its overwhelming blessing to the work done by Grover Cleveland "Cleve" Backster, Jr..

In the course of Mr. Backster's work he reported observing that a polygraph instrument attached to a plant leaf registered a change in electrical resistance when the plant was harmed or even threatened with harm. He argued that plants perceived human intentions, and as Backster began to investigate further, he also reported a finding that other human thoughts and emotions caused reactions in plants that could be recorded by a polygraph instrument.

Why are we discussing this matter in a page geared to strengthening the Faith in God? Precisely because such confirmed work glorifies God, the Absolute Master of Creation. It also shows how many of the true gifts of God we, humans, have lost as we become more "civilized" while leaving God behind.

Imagine, if plants are capable of such level of perception what couldn't humans do if we had not "left God behind" because we were just too smart to believe in "fairy tales".

In the lines below you may read more about Mr. Vogel and, via the link provided, (1) you may learn more about Mr. Backster's work. Keep in mind that Mr. Vogel was probably one of the most brilliant and prolific contributors to what IBM was and is.

In the 1970's Marcel did pioneering work in man-plant communication experiments.

In 1969 Marcel gave a course in creativity for engineers at IBM. It was at this time that he read an article in Argosy magazine entitled "Do Plants Have Emotions?" about the work of polygraph expert Cleve Backster into the responsiveness of plants to human interaction.

Despite initial rejection of the concept of human- plant communication, he decided to explore these strange claims. He was able to duplicate the Backster effect of using plants as transducers for bio-energetic fields that the human mind releases, demonstrating that plants respond to thought. He used split leaf philodendrons connected to a Wheatstone Bridge that would compare a known resistance to an unknown resistance.

He learned that when he released his breath slowly there was virtually no response from the plant. When he pulsed his breath through the nostril, as he held a though in mind, the plant would respond dramatically. It was also found that these fields, linked to the action of breath and thought, do not have a significant time domain to them. The responsiveness of the plants to thought was also the same whether eight inches away, eight feet, or eight thousand miles!. Based on the results of the experiments the inverse square law does not apply to thought. This was the beginning of Marcel's transformation from being a purely rational scientist to becoming a spiritual or mystical scientist.

Basically it was found that plants respond more to the thought of being cut, burned, or torn than to the actual act. He discovered that if he tore a leaf from one plant a second plant would respond, but only if he was paying attention to it. The plan ts seemed to be mirroring his own mental responses. He concluded that the plants were acting like batteries, storing the energy of his thoughts and intentions. He said of these experiments: "I learned that there is energy connected with thought. Thought can be pulsed and the energy connected with it becomes coherent and has a laser- like power".

Marcel discovered that the greatest cohering agent is love. This, of course, set him apart from his fellow scientists. At a time when many still don't acknowledge that an observer affects what they are observing, the notion of love was a totally unscientific idea. Even when cloaked in the garb of a term like resonance it was unacceptable. To Marcel, love was (and is) a pure force. Certainly we experience it as an emotions, but this is our experience of something that is beyond emotion. He likened it to gravity, an attracting and cohering force present at every level of existence. Without this relationship an important aspect of scientific investigation is missing, preventing us from discovering and exploring the more, perhaps most, subtle aspects of life.

This is one reason why certain scientific investigations in the area of subtle energies cannot be readily replicated. It is not always a matter of scientific protocol, but matter of relationship. Unfortunately many scientists, to Marcel, they were technicians attempting to prove what they already thought was true. The true scientist is one who attempts to discover with childlike curiosity. Too often we, all of us, only want to confirm what we already believe.

During this time period, 1974, Marcel gave many lectures about his work plants.

The "word from here" continues to be: Work on your relationships with God at all levels and then  you will really have it all!

Once again, I must share...

I have missed other opportunities recently but this time I must share because the word "simplicity" was used in today's (March 8) Divine Encouragement, and I had just typed the word "simple" to my spiritual director.

Last night, upon returning home from adoration, the interior lights in my Ford Expedition would not turn off. No matter what we tried, they remained on. Three of my boys attempted to help, so the battery wouldn't drain. After all, the rosary group had just left and the lights had been on for over an hour. Nothing worked. I finally went out, took the keys from my son, and simply prayed, "Lord Jesus, please, turn these lights off. I ask this in Your Name, Amen".

That was it. I went back in to complete my evening prayers. About 20 minutes later, the baby was pointing at a picture of Jesus, and excitedly babbling over and over. I realized Jesus was trying to get my attention - was telling me He had answered my prayer. I looked out the window. Jesus had turned my lights off!

Every human effort had failed, my husband had left for his midnight shift at the hospital. I had only Jesus, so He answered me. He knew I needed those lights off, to be in peace, knowing that my battery was preserved, because my vehicle is used to take people to work, doctors, etc.

Jesus took care of it.

There is also another scenario where He swings to action because we do not have any idea that a problem is lurking about.

miguel drives a borrowed 20 year old car. Some years ago two sets of cooperators would take care of the car maintenance using their regular automotive shops. miguel relocated and now, a third cooperator, who is an auto mechanic himself, looks after miguel's borrowed car. The first time the new mechanic gave the car a complete check-up he drained the radiator to flush it well and fill it with antifreeze, etc.

When he drained the cooling system - in miguel's presence - all it contained were less 16 ounces (0.5 liters) of rusty water.

As it turned out, the mechanics who had supposedly been looking after the car maintenance before had never checked the radiator for coolant. The cooperators had assumed that all was fine and so did miguel, who had every reason to trust the two cooperators.

The only one who knew about this problem was God. Therefore, through His Grace, that car ran for over three years (that we know of, since it could have been more!) with about 16 oz. (0.5 liters) of coolant. (Summer temperatures here run between 95 to 105 ºF.)

Once the system was filled to capacity, the miracle was confirmed. There was no leak in the coolant system. Therefore, no one could think that the radiator sprung a leak just before the third mechanic got a hold of it.

Thank you for sharing and giving us an opportunity to share another type of  scenario for Divine intervention.

Today we will address, actually, completely dismount, the most feared threat of the last 1,600 years: Excommunication.

What is known today as the "Western World" has been politically and socially shaped during the last 1,600 years by the threat of  "Excommunication". You will quickly see the power of psychological propaganda based on smoke and mirrors and not on the Word of God.

From three [Mark 3:31-34, Matthew 12:46-50 and Luke 8:19-21] of the four Gospels we learn that:

That is - the Family of Jesus are "they who hear the word of God, and do it" (*). No one else! 


To which Christian religious institution one belongs to is completely immaterial as Jesus clearly stated:


The truth is that what determines the state of a soul and/or religious institution - In Communion or Out of Communion (Excommunicated) - is to the extent that soul is a Member of the Family of Jesus by deed and not by the usual hollow verbal claims.

Once we observe and objectively evaluate the historical (and current) behavior of the Administration and members of any Christian institution, it is obvious that most have been (and currently are) in an Excommunicated state. That is, separated from the Body of Christ which is composed by " ...they who hear the word of God, and strive with every breath to do it".

An example of what we are illustrating could be easily discerned from the following excerpt of a story regarding the Holy Infant of Prague.

The above story is typical of countless events in the blood stained history of applied Christianity. Anyone who would think that Jesus and/or Mary would be part of that type of behavior are not in Communion with God - even if they have been led to believe so by the magnificently dressed and bejeweled alleged representatives of God.

Once again we wish to remind our readership of the toll of the preventable (1) World War II and Communism: About 100 million lives and untold suffering for those who survived it. Which means that ignorance (of the truth) IS NOT bliss as the popular saying "teaches".

Remember: (a) The Church Jesus founded - Christianity - was founded upon the Rock of Christ (2); and (b) There is Salvation outside the Roman Catholic Church (3). Both have been proven to the extent that even Ratzinger had to accept it.

He did not say that no one would sit at His right and/or His left. He just said that such choice was the Father's. The proverbial 64,000 dollar question is: Who will be sitting at His right and His left?

Is Jesus only talking about the Masters of the Temple of His time? Of course not! He is talking about those who are entrusted by God to establish and administer the organization that will help lead man to God - at ANY time.

Now read the above again keeping in mind an image of the Hierarchy of the Roman and Orthodox Catholic Churches. Their splendor puts to shame the Russian Czarist courts of the past. Humble? Servile? What a joke!.... yet most of the Faithful have been blind to that reality for 1,600 years. The same blindness which will not allow them to recognize the False Christ.

Today and on last Saturday, the Gospel at Mass deals with two fundamental pillars of Christianity: Do good to our enemies and how we will be judged by God. Those often read and quoted parts of the Gospel contain what most of the faithful need to know but conveniently miss or ignore. Let us first review the Gospels.

Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful. Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you shall be forgiven. Give, and it shall be given to you: good measure and pressed down and shaken together and running over shall they give into your bosom. For with the same measure that you shall mete withal, it shall be measured to you again.

Key message:


Considering that only the Immaculate One can cast the first stone (1), we, miserable sinners, need much forgiveness and mercy. Those of us who, knowing what Christians claim to know, have not been merciful as our Father is merciful, should expect the great possibility of a permanent separation from God (also known as going to Hell) or a very extended, but temporal, separation from God (also known as residing in Purgatory where the clock ticks just like for us right now).

Brethren, it is that simple. There is no way out of it except Jesus' Way, as clearly and unequivocally spelled out above in the quoted Gospel.
