It is amazing to see how just about everything that has gone wrong in Roman Catholicism is blamed
on the Second Vatican Council, (4) when, in
reality, the Second Vatican Council was the last chance God gave its leadership to cleanse the
Church that Jesus founded upon Christ, the Rock

There is a reason why God allows one to come in contact with certain persons. It may be only a fleeting encounter, but there is always a reason.
I know Msgr. Charles Brown, who has just been appointed Papal Nuncio to Ireland... and I wish I didn't! In the early 90s I was working at XYZ church in the New York Archdiocese where he was residing, between studies. This was just prior to his formal assignment to the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith (CDF). His demeanor was both enigmatic and..... unearthly.)
There is nothing "highly unusual" in this appointment. Brown is a 'man of confidence' to Ratzinger; and that is why he was given this key appointment. His involvement in the CDF in reference to the sex abuse scandals means that Brown was part of the machinery of the cover-up. His closeness to Ratzinger makes this even more clear.
Some years ago I had extensive professional dealings with Msgr. Charles Brown. That he is an Opus Dei man seems a sure thing, given his history. I suspected it even then. And like other OD men, my experience with Brown is similar:
And as one might expect with an OD man, Brown is ultra-Conservative. Not a hair out of place. Professional. The only clue I had to his true persona was his fanatical hatred of Jews, which came out in his sermons.

As we have often said: We anxiously wait for the time when Jesus Christ does in the Church what He did in the Temple of Jerusalem [Luke 19: 41-46] and allows upon the Vatican what He allowed upon Jerusalem in the year 70 AD [Luke 21:6].

in use. Yet I have experienced the same "wall" with good Method Actors. Once in a role, you
cannot penetrate the mask they are wearing. The parallel is both interesting and
frightening.

I thought over the hot spots that could erupt suddenly into nuclear war, separately or together:
North Korea/South Korea
China/Taiwan
China/India
China and Pakistan/US
China/US, Philippines, etc. (South China Sea)
Russia, China, and Syria/US
Russia, China, and Iran/US and UK and Israel
Israel/Iran
Israel/Syria
Russia/NATO (missile defense; forward NATO deployment)
Saudi Arabia/Iran
Israel/Lebanon, Hezbollah, and Syria
I suspect that Cuba, Venezuela, and other leftist regimes in Latin American could join the war after one of the above hot spots kicks off.

As dark humor, I find this amusing: A Mafia hit man can be hired as a parish sexton in a church run by Opus Dei linked priests, known to me personally..... who refused me employment. Priceless irony!

(6) Yet, again and again we observe priests, school staff, deacons, employees and volunteers who are found to engaged in some type of criminal activity.
That the Archdiocese of NY would allow an alleged Mafia hit man to be in regular contact with children in their CYO sports programs is unspeakable. But not surprising at this point, when one considers the denizens of Opus Dei's World of Mammon who run the Archdiocese's Catholic Charities, which administers the CYO. (7)

While doing some last minute shopping for Thanksgiving, the man on the check-out line ahead of me was unable to buy because his EBT card (Electronic Benefit Transaction card for Food Stamps) was not working. The problem was not his account, but the government EFT (electronic funds transfer) network which processes Food Stamp transactions.
The poor man went home, minus his food. I also use an EBT card for Food Stamps. The network first declined the card, then stated "network down". Repeated attempts failed. The whole store ground to a halt. I have never seen such looks of panic on the faces of the store clerks and management. As a very large percentage of the local populace rely upon Food Stamps - this (and other) local stores would potentially lose vast amounts of money.
It was interesting to observe the scene. Many of the people on line were in shock; others angry. And then there were the clueless. Like the affluent man behind me who asked "are the ATMs working?" and then said "You could always pay with cash...". Perhaps I was interfering with his urgent need to go to the local country club. The level of selfishness in many people comes as no shock to me now.
After what seemed like a very long time (though actually only 20 minutes) the network functioned again, and I was able to use my EBT card successfully.

The level of selfishness in many people comes as no shock to me now.
After what seemed like a very long time (though actually only 20 minutes) the network functioned again, and I was able to use my EBT card successfully.
There are several things which I realized as this was in progress:
a) This is the shape of what is 'right around the corner'.
b) For as long as God Wills that I live, He shall see to it that I am fed and clothed.
c) He has both led me to and provided me with the means to have a stock of non-perishable food, which could sustain me for a long period, if necessary. But even without that, He would sustain me.
d) The scenario was a 'guided discovery' (1) from God.

We have just found out that...there have been
638 failed assasination attempts against Fidel Castro. Only over 100 reached the execution step

We have just read (1) that.... starting on November 2009, the Boeing 737-80 aircrafts flown by Air France, Iberia, Ryanair, AirTran, Continental, Air New Zealand, Lufthansa and Alaska Airlines do not have a row of seats number 13. In 1958, Bishop Fulton J. Sheen - a long standing star of Catholic radio and TV broadcasting – wrote Life of Christ (Image Books, 1990). On p. 21 of this “biography” of Christ, Sheen described what he hoped to see Christ do and say to overthrow evil and to establish his kingdom. When I read Sheen's statements, alarm bells went off for me. The "savior" described by Sheen does not resemble the Christ described in Scriptures. Instead, Sheen's "Christ" resembles a demagogue, a cult leader, or a dictator.
The following is the Sheen statement (from the end of chapter 1 of Life of Christ). My comments are inserted in red type, within square brackets.

The very high profile scandal that Cardinal Christoph Schönborn is causing by defying, on the
world stage, the well known and publicized position of the Bishops in Bosnia-Herzegovina, where

confirm to those who have Eyes to See and Ears to Hear that this is a master maneuver from
satan.

I like very much the thoughts expressed by St. Louis de Montfort in his work The Love of Eternal Wisdom. In it he says that "mental prayer enlightens the mind, inflames the heart and enables the soul to hear the voice of Wisdom."
De Montfort also says that Mary is the "secret magnet which draws Eternal Wisdom so powerfully that He cannot resist."
A practice I have come to cherish is to daily make an act of consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus through the Sorrowful, Immaculate Heart of Mary in the power of the Holy Spirit to the Glory of God the Father and with the help of St. Joseph.
I then mentally place myself on Mary's lap, seat of Wisdom, Mercy seat.
To Him be the Glory, now and forever.
Let us console ourselves with uplifting and edifying thoughts.

The following situation has been on my mind for the last few days.
Though I am sure of the imminence of the chastisement that is to come, also I am sure of the fact that the only way to sustain ourselves in these days will be the effective communication/relation that we could have with the Lord.
Focusing on the second - As you say: "With Him, all is well"; "He is the Supplier". But you also say: "For Him is to give, and for us is to ask".
I began to ask Jesus in my prayers that He let me hear His voice! I am taking John 10, 27-28 as a literal promise: "27. My sheep hear my voice: and I know them, and they follow me. 28. And I give them life everlasting; and they shall not perish for ever, and no man shall pluck them out of my hand."
Before, I thought that to hear His voice was something given to some people because God distributes His gifts among us as He Wills, and I was thinking that it was not nice to ask what was reserved in advance for some. I had my own gifts and should be satisfied with them.
But now, I think I was wrong, and that I should ask to hear Him, as well as we must ask Him to give us faith, as with the rest of the gifts/fruits of The Holy Spirit.
On 11-07-11 Divine Encouragement it is stated:
I am not sure of what "heart-consciousness" means.
If you could throw light into this concept, it would be appreciated.

miguel de Portugal comments: One has to dig deep to find out that his only connection with said "prostitution ring at a luxury hotel in Lille" is that he has "consumed some of their product". As the social decay consumes the world and prostitution is about to be considered a respectable line of work, to use such accusation to finish what "they" started at the New York Sofitel, indicates what "they" think of the functional intellectual level of the general public.
We never thought that we would ever agree with "them" in anything, but we must on one point: If anyone would set his/her mind to convince the world population that the Earth is really flat and not a spheroid, they would! We are faced with a world population who, as a result of endemic denial, has a functional IQ level of under 50 and who can be convinced of about anything - including of the falsification of the Second Coming of Christ.
Let's face it - if a newspaper of a country with a population of 10 million inhabitants fooled NASA in precisely their area of expertise: Space (2), what couldn't "they" do?

Miguel, thank you for all your work. Thank you from one who shrank out of fear ten years ago, when I had first read your column and left it because I had too much 'living' yet to do and did not want to miss anything out of life, to one who devours your words as a beacon towards Christ – I believe now what I should have believed ten years ago.
I now know that the pain I've suffered in the past ten years was for a reason. I'm now ready to face the thought of a Chastisement where it was impossible ten years ago, the denial was so great. I try with all my heart now to stay in the state of Grace. I see this denial rampant in the minds of all my friends and family – it seems almost everyone I confide in thinks I'm a raving nut case. The only consolation that comes to mind is that God knows how each individual will choose Him or choose satan and so if some die suddenly they may be saved in light of His knowing how they would turn out if they lived much longer? Does that make any sense?
Regarding your statement of "our last warnings" - you stand as one who believes he has used up his proverbial nine lives of the cat (there have been attempts on your life) as well as that the Chastisement is clearly imminent this year. We have been warned by Russia and China of their regard for using a pre emptive strike - which to me seems their intent to start AND finish victor. All of this going on as we approach the season of Advent.
I have started to give out Blessed wax candles, but their reception is acknowledged in the form of lip service by most. Not one person in my family sees any reason to think of the 3 Days of Darkness as anything but ridiculous conspiracy stuff. None doubt the media's veracity in any of these matters. I pray for them all daily.
Even a very devout convert to Catholicism friend of 40 years plus sees the US as on top of the world and supports the Opus Dei in full and that the US is in full control of the world situation.
I can see how the Warning, Miracle, and Chastisement may be all in one. Joey Lomangino was promised his vision back again before he dies and he is fast approaching the average length of human years. Could it be that he will regain his sight after the 3 Days of Darkness? - but then only the surviving 'good' people will know of it?
I'm incredibly indebted to your teaching which has turned me away from the darkness of my previous living and ask God daily to bless you and to keep me seeking Him. I realize I may be out on the road instead of in a light tight shelter at the wrong time but that would be God's will...

Remember, God will not allow us to announce specific time frames, therefore, we would like to
rephrase that to:
"...the
Chastisement is clearly imminent."
Regarding the "ten year period" of your life that you mentioned - That is most interesting...
It was in July 1997 that God informed miguel that there had been a delay (we later found out that He had achieved that by working through miguel with his frequent contacts with Mr. & Mrs. Clinton during Mr. Clinton’s two terms). That meant that the "tumbling" which was to start in 1998 had been delayed. Then, using Gorbachev (1), God revealed that the delay was of ten years. Then, like clockwork, in 2008 the fabric of the financial world started to unravel. This is leading to the "detonator" of the horrific events which, as we write these lines, are already knocking at the door of many countries.
Imagine if, considering your condition then, what we are living today would have been taking place in the year 2001... and you had ten more years still to go.
This is precisely what Jesus was speaking about when He said: And unless those days had been shortened, no flesh should be saved: but for the sake of the elect those days shall be shortened. [Matt. 24:22]
That you - and the rest of us - are taken as "nut cases" by most even though they cannot disprove with facts what we are pointing out to them: Rejoice! Now you know how Noah felt! Perhaps we should feel a bit worse than Noah, since what is about to hit humanity will dwarf the events that we know as Noah's Flood.

Greece was spoken about in hushed tones, the possibility of one in Portugal is being spoken "loud
and clear" by responsible entities in Portugal, on the printed press and on the televised news.

For openers, last Saturday more than 10,000 members of the armed forces held a peaceful manifestation decrying the imposed austerity measures. In Portugal one cannot talk about "tightening the belt". To tigthen the belt you need to have a belt, and the poor people have even lost their pants - never mind the belts!
Why is this Coup d'Etat possibility (in any European Union country) a major concern? Because a Coup d'Etat in a European Union country will bring down the European Union dream (dream for some, but a nightmare for most) and all associated with it.
