Dear Miguel, God be with you, as always.

In reference to your recent document (1)....

I've been reading Lew Rockwell's web site for years, and Paul Craig Roberts, along with Gary North (more substantive than Roberts, in my opinion), are clearly living in the same reality as yourself and many of us who follow.

Roberts has previously overtly accused the Bush administration of deliberately trying to start a nuclear war, as one example. The archive of his posts is eye-opening. North's columns are more economic in their focus - being a student of the Austrian school of economics - but his conclusions are explicitly Christian and he logically describes an inevitable series of “apocalyptic” economic events, informed by what is obviously a deep faith.

Best Regards

IW

Note Added on September 10, 2008:
We do not endorse Mr. Gary North, nor IW does now. Mr. North has been identified as a leader of the Christian Reconstructionist movement - an offshoot of which is Joel's army. As a matter of fact, we want to warn against Mr. North and his ideologies. For more details on related ideologies Click Here and Click Here.

I stumbled across something in Wikipedia a reference about the Number of the Beast (1).
Now we surely know that Ratzinger is actually the Antichrist (2) - and I personally have no doubt of this, nor need any further confirmation. And, as you indicate in your document about this, the numerology aspect is merely for the curious; not the penultimate identifier.

Frankly when I found this I was not intentionally searching for it; it sort of fell into my lap by accident via a link I followed in another article. Here is the key phrase which caught my eye:

"During the Reformation, Martin Luther noted that "Benediktos" added up to 666 in Greek gematria, and he thought it might refer to a Pope named Benedict or to Benedictine monks.

Β ε ν ε δ ι κ τ ο σς TOTAL
2 5 50 5 4 10 20 300 70 200 666

To me, this does neither conflict with nor negate the number 616, which has been recently (2005 - when BXVI took office!) affirmed by scholars as the correct number in the "urtext" of Revelations. It would seem to serve as a type of "secondary proof" (with the Spiritual "proof" given by the Holy Spirit as the primary and absolute proof). But - note well the phrasing of the above quote....... and now remember the "Prophecy of St. Malachy".(3) Luther was likely ignorant of it, as it was not published until some 50 years after his death!

"The prophecy was first published in 1595 by Arnold de Wyon, a Benedictine historian, as part of his book Lignum Vitæ. Wyon attributed the list to Saint Malachy, the 12th‑century bishop of Armagh in Ireland. According to the traditional account, in 1139, Malachy was summoned to Rome by Pope Innocent II. While in Rome, Malachy purportedly experienced a vision of future popes, which he recorded as a sequence of cryptic phrases. This manuscript was then deposited in the Roman Archive, and thereafter forgotten about until its rediscovery in 1590."

The coincidence of alignment between Luther and St. Malachy is astounding and utterly unknown to myself until now.

These serve as more "human proof'". It is almost as if God has several large brightly colored neon arrows all pointing at Ratzinger..........yet the vast majority of humanity is color blind!

Christ be with you always.

In reference to your recent mailing with the Subject of: Texas town reels from horrific abuse in its midst (1)

I live in "X" County and this happened just down the road from me. The scandal barely even caused a blip in my local paper. Of course this could be because my city's "Man of the Year" was caught doing almost the same thing with the little girls in his church (yes he was in a church that he and a couple of other families started when they broke away from the most prominent church in town).

He had the biggest house in town and was considered the richest man in town. He would take kids from the area on his airplane for rides to see what their houses looked like from the air. He also always played Santa Claus every year for the Christmas Parade. It turned out that he was inappropriately touching the kids on his lap for years but they didn't know any better.

This went on for years and he was even accused several times by little girls in his church, but their parents would come to his defense (He helped so many of them out with money when they were in a crisis, they didn't want the money to stop).

When one of the more influential members of our town had a child complain about what he was doing to her her, her parents believed her and and took her to Tyler to see if she had been sexually assaulted, she was between 6 and 8 years old. She was and charges were filed against him. I don't remember how many children were involved but it was more then 20. He ended up getting 3 consecutive life terms with no parole.

(Eventually) ....we found out why (we felt that way towards him) when his case went to trial. This area of Texas seems to have more than it's fair share of convicted felons with a history of sexual assault.

It seems like we get one or two a year involving multiple children. It's disgusting and it hurts so much when I read about them.

News Quote:
In the windowless front rooms of a former day care center in a tiny Texas community, children as young as 5 were fed powerful painkillers they knew as "silly pills" and forced to perform sex shows for a crowd of adults.

Mineola, about 80 miles east of Dallas, is a close-knit, conservative bean-processing town of with more than 30 churches. Residents there want to put the scandal behind them as quickly as possible.

The one-story building where prosecutors say four children — the three siblings, now ages 12, 10 and 7, and their 10-year-old aunt — were trained to perform in front of an audience of 50 to 100 once a week has been vacant since the landlord ousted the alleged organizers in 2004.

The M+G+R Foundation Comments:
This IS how sick our society has become.... and we cannot be accused of living an Alternative Reality. Debauchery rules - while the world population continue to firmly stick their heads into a hole in the ground.

Prayer could have slammed the brakes on society's debauchery.... now, it really is too late.... all it can do is cushion the blows of the price we will pay for having turned God's Creation into what would make the residents of Sodom and Gomorrah blush, while pretending being disciples of Jesus Christ!

Dear Miguel:

In your current Private Forum (1), you wrote:

"We want to take this opportunity to encourage the faithful not to read "new and improved" accounts about the period that the New Testament covers in order to avoid further confusions. Even if the stories come through "Church approved" mystics or contained in new found scrolls; and certainly not from New Age like sources."

I am most grateful for that advice. It confirmed the intuition (2) that I have had so far. I have been aware of the alternative "histories" of Mary and Christ (Agreda, Emmerich, Valtorta, etc.) - massive tomes of new "information" about Christ and His times. I never read any of this material, for these reasons:

1. Uncertainty of the truth of the "new" material
2. Lack of time
3. Certainty that, whatever the value of this apparitional information, that I would use my time better by reading and understanding the New Testament itself, rather that these ancillary/competing works.

Instead of reading the channeled books, I am getting much from reading the daily Scripture readings assigned by the Orthodox Church (and also used by Eastern Catholics.) This slow but sure method of study and meditation has helped me a lot. I am sure that the same process, using the Roman Catholic readings, would greatly benefit any Roman Catholic visitor to your site.

Your statement against Urantia and similar New Age (3) books is clear and charitable.

Oh my, I enjoyed reading the story about putting gas in your car. (1) How dare we complain about what we're paying here. Hearing how much it is in Portugal really brings home how downright SPOILED we are in the U.S.

We are so incredibly blessed, but most of us don't realize it. Anyone who is able to own their home (even the "moderate" ones are pretty swanky by worldwide standards), afford all the food they want (much more than they need), take a vacation, and buy items not essential to life should be most grateful. I'm afraid we can only fully appreciate our blessings when lose them. Perhaps that is one of the main pitfalls of being human.

I'm ashamed to admit that during the recent thunder and lightening storms we've been having -- my very first utterance to the Lord is "please let us keep our electricity, if it is possible." (2) The motivating factor for me is that we not lose our lovely air conditioning, of which I have become so fond. Embarrassing.

(1) As a matter of the "state of the world economies" interest - Today we added gas to the 1992 vehicle a supporter from Portugal has allowed us to use on an open-ended loan. The amount of gas: 5.71 gallons ; cost of the gas: $42.63 US dollars. Thanks be to God that He relocated us to a place where very, very little driving is needed for us to discharge our functions.

The little car does about 42 miles to the gallon. Now, imagine about the folks that live in this town and travel 50 miles each way - six days a week - to the nearest big city to work and drive much less economic cars.

(2) No embarrassment is called for; He taught us thus: My Father, if it be possible, let this chalice pass from me. Nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt. [Matthew 26:39]
and you the same including deferring to His Will. Having lived in Houston extensively we can certainly understand your prayer.

@ EU * USA - Published on June 30th, 2008 [First Martyrs of the Church of Rome]

We received a letter from a collaborator whose sincerity, honesty and assistance we value greatly. He had a very valid question which - in edited form - we reproduce below:

If I think that I can help you and your mission more - Is it safe, in Eternity terms, to step aside from the "world" i.e. - staying a good worker, a good husband, etc. but at the same time redirect all effort (free time I had and time I spend on personal projects) in preparations to what is to come by prayer plus more time spent on what I have been doing to assist you (m de P) up to now and related work?

This is what we answered him - straight from the heart:

Here is what we suggest that you do...

It is easier to a devoted, but normal (1), human being to function in the world, thus "...staying a good worker, good husband etc.", while focusing on what is to come and the preparation required, if deadlines are set. For example - you can say to yourself and to your wife:
"I will place all effort (free time I have and time I spend on personal projects) in preparation for what is to come by prayer as well as more time spent in helping m de P with what I have been doing up to now plus related work, while staying a good worker, good husband etc. under the following conditions:
If within 18 months from today the world is not in the obvious grip of a global apocalyptic type crisis of the natures that have been announced, I will change priorities and greatly de-emphasize the amount of time spent in helping m de P with what I have been doing up to now, plus related work. and take more time for relaxation and personal projects.
Psychologically, that covenant with yourself will give you a measure of comfort, and a reassurance to those who are not "inside your head" - those who cannot see what you can see - that if what you are seeing now does not materialize there is an "end point" in sight and not one of those "never ending projects".

We feel that this is just and fair for all who are part of your life-orbit.

May those who have Eyes, See and Ears, Hear....
