In spite of the preference for anonymity of the individual behind the writings published by The M+G+R Foundation, we must acknowledge the natural curiosity of the millions of readers regarding the identity of miguel de Portugal.
A very brief summary of his background follows:
Miguel Angel, whose given by God religious name is miguel de Portugal, was born in the
first half of the 20th century, from a lineage traceable back to the times of the Iberian harbor
city of Tartessus, about 500 years BC. He is the father of two children.
He holds Chemical Engineering degrees from Texas A&M University and the University of California at Berkeley. He successfully practiced this profession from 1966 through 1991 always at the cutting edge of the technology in his field.
In 1985, in a literal flash, God revealed to miguel Who He (that is, God) Is, as well as revealing to him that his only function in the world was to serve God as He Willed it. At that point miguel's journey started.
Six years later, in 1991, after he experienced many profound spiritual, psychological and physical changes, and finding himself in the best position ever of his professional and personal life, the final call from God came: “Leave all (literally) behind and follow Me; be at My disposal for whatever I call you to do.” “Do” is to be understood as to “say”, “write” and “live” in whatever part of the world God would choose from time to time.
Moved and sustained by the Grace of God, miguel did just as God asked him to do.

Why was miguel moved by God to produce the writings which appear in The M+G+R Foundation?
Because what God promised...
“Behold I will send you Elijah the prophet, before the coming of the great and dreadful day
of the Lord. And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the
children to their fathers: lest I come, and strike the earth with anathema,” [Malachi
4:5]
...is to be fulfilled.
Our Lord Jesus Christ is returning in Glory as promised, and this Happy Event will take place
soon. Therefore, as it was prophesied since before His First Coming, the way must be prepared. A
key part of this preparation includes the exposure of the False Christ and his agents – the ones
who will not openly oppose Christ but will pretend to be and/or represent the real
Christ.
