About Natural News and Mike Adams
On March 26, 2015 we published an
alert/warning document titled: "Who Is Mike Adams of Natural News Fame?" (1).
In it we shared with our readers our concerns about that organization
and its visible face - Mike Adams.
Today we want to share with all of our readers an even more
disturbing facet of Natural News. We have suspected this problem for
some time but we wanted to study it carefully before issue this
warning. We now have completed our test and we feel compelled to
communicate it to you.
We will try to be as simple as we can possibly be when describing the
technical aspects of the situation at hand.
1. Some (all?) browsers have a Master
Password used to keep all the passwords securely stored in its
"password safe".
2. When you are about to visit a page which requires a user name and a
password - say your Yahoo!
mail access page - if the Master
Password has not been used to open up your password storage file, a box
will pop up asking you to enter the Master Password so that the Yahoo! mail user name and password
are automatically
filled in by your browser in the Yahoo! mail access page.
3. The request for the Master Password never comes up unless you
are trying to access a page that requires a user name and password that
you have in storage.
4. Once your Master Password has been entered, you, in essence have
opened the "safe" which contains all the user names and passwords which
you nomally use.... and
they become accessible to hackers.
Two days ago, when we received the daily Natural News mail out, a mail
out which we
religiously delete without
even opening it, the Subject of the e-mail caught our
attention. Upon further (and secure) examination we read:
Here's
the wildly viral documentary being CENSORED everywhere across the web:
Google, Youtube, Vimeo, etc.
WE
GOT IT now on TV NaturalNews.com. It's a video titled "With Open Gates
- The forced collective suicide of European nations."
This
video tells the truth about European refugees who are actually
occupying militant forces waging war against Western culture.

That was a red flag for us.
This is what we then did. We....
1. Downloaded the unopened
Natural News e-mail and, using some computer
techniques which I have had to learn for our own safety, found the
suggested Link
URL address without having to click on it.
2. Shutdown our main browser (Firefox) so that the "safe" where the
passwords are stored would shut down.
3. Restarted the browser and checked to ensure that the password
"safe" was well locked... and it was.
4. Placed on the browser address box the link URL address that we had
extracted - which promised us a view of the allegedly ultra censored
video - and, right on schedule... the Master Password Firefox box
popped up requesting that we enter our Master Password... thus opening
the proverbial cookie jar of user names and passwords for the hackers.
Needless to say, we did not enter the
Master Password. We shut down Firefox and then proceeded to clean the
browser with CCleaner (which we recommend) just in case....
Conclusion
We suggest that you stay as far away as you can from anything
associated with Natural News, Mike Adams the many fronts that they use
. The reason that we still get the e-mails is precisely because we want
to
monitor what they highlight on the Subject of the mailings.... and we
are certainly glad that we did!
If you receive their mailing and want to stop them, do not even
click on the link at the bottom of the e-mail that reads "unsuscribe".
Just block their address in the privacy/security settings of your
e-mail program. Only God knows what really happens if one dares to
unsuscribe from their mailings.
