Did you know that... recent research results suggests that having an abortion does not increase the risk of mental health problems, but having a baby does? (1)
The research by Danish scientists further debunks the notion that terminating a pregnancy can
trigger mental illness, and shows postpartum depression to be much more of a factor.
Abortion in Denmark has been legal since 1973 - the same year the U.S. Supreme Court ruled on the Roe v. Wade case, which established a right to abortion.
The Danish study included 365,550 teenagers and women who had an abortion or first-time delivery between 1995 and 2007. None had a history of psychiatric problems that required hospitalization. Through various national registries, researchers were able to track mental health counseling at a hospital or outpatient facility before and after an abortion or delivery.
During the study period, 84,620 had an abortion while 280,930 gave birth.
While first-time mothers had a lower rate of mental problems overall, the proportion of those seeking help after giving birth was dramatically higher. About 7 per 1,000 women got mental health help within a year of giving birth compared with 4 per 1,000 women pre-delivery.

Tragic as the research results seem on the surface, what it reflects is even worse. The generalized state of the souls is the real tragedy.
As the soul drifts away from God it is exposed to greater and greater spiritual dangers (2) and, as it approaches its death, it becomes immune to the natural psychological response to the violation of Divine Laws. Thus "having an abortion does not increase the risk of mental health problems".
At a certain "distance" from God, the damage to the soul is irreversible - the soul will be lost - or, if the soul's name is written in the Book of Life, the volume of God's megaphone will have to be increased to unbearable levels (3) in order to engage the soul's attention and move it toward repentance.

miguel de Portugal repeats a message that... the Good Lord gave to His people through the prophet Sophonias (Zephaniah) because it is more applicable today than it was when it was first uttered.

After World War I and World War II (which could have been prevented if the Church Administrators had obeyed the clear instructions from Heaven (0)), one would have expected that humanity - most especially those directly responsible for World War II - would fulfill the hopes of God: Surely thou wilt fear me, thou wilt receive correction: and her dwelling shall not perish, for all things wherein I have visited her: but they rose early and corrupted all their thoughts.
Instead, during the period of peace after World War II, humanity rose early and corrupted all their thoughts instead of returning to the Lord.

This is how... the "High and Mighty" destroy real scientific findings which are not financially acceptable to their overall agenda.
Documents (1)(2) have emerged today proving the innocence of Dr Andrew
Wakefield, the vaccine / autism researcher who has been falsely accused by the British Medical
Journal of "fabricating" the study data he published in 1998.
The documents, just made public yesterday, reveal that other researchers replicated his results independently and with documentation, 14 months before Dr Wakefield published his own work.

In a nutshell - Dr. Wakefield found a connection between children with autism and the MMR vaccine (an immunization shot against measles, mumps and rubella which was first developed by Maurice Hilleman while at Merck in the late 1960s.) The British Medical Journal denounced Dr. Wakefield findings as a fabrication - thus a fraud.
Being led astray is the price that those who believe "a face" - in this case the British Medical Journal - must pay. Poor, poor people; without the guidance of the Holy Spirit of God, they do not stand a chance.

On July 11, 2010, a total solar eclipse plunged remote Pacific islands into darkness - climaxing on mysterious Easter Island.
"The skies grew black in the middle of the day as the Moon slipped in front of the Sun and aligned

The name "Easter Island" was given by the island's first recorded European visitor, the Dutch explorer Jacob Roggeveen, who encountered it on Easter Sunday 1722, (while searching for Davis or David's Island) and named it Paasch-Eyland (18th century Dutch for "Easter Island"). (2)
My comment: I assume that "Passover" is the most exact translation for Dutch "Paasch". The origin of Passover, according to Exodus, was that the spirit of the Lord - actually, the last of ten plagues - passed over the homes marked by the Israelites (not harming them). When, after that last plague, Pharaoh freed the Israelites, it is said that they left in such a hurry that they could not wait for bread to rise. (3)

I had never listened to an Obama speech, and it is many years since I have listened to an American political speech.
Obama delivered the speech clearly and competently. It was a very moderate speech, right down the (statist, imperialist) center of American politics. I can hardly imagine any fair-minded listener to the speech calling Obama a closet Nazi, Fascist, or Communist. No hint, however, of dealing with the torture, illegal wars, invasions of privacy, etc.
Anyone who listens to the speech will believe that the US is in good order, and some minor fixes will make things OK over the short term and the long term. There was no sense of urgency, emergency, or impending disaster.
Again: anyone who "lives within" the world portrayed by Obama's speech will have no clue whatsoever of the nature and severity of the pending events that you warn about.

[Feast of the Conversion of Saul into St.

Know that... for the first time we have seen - outside m de P's writings - a crystal clear, separate identification of the Anti Christ and the False Christ, as well as key forerunners of the Anti Christ. All of this is contained in the Message of La Salette. (1)
Probably speaking of Napoleon III and Hitler She states:
"A forerunner of the Antichrist, with his troops gathered from several nations, will fight
against the true Christ, the only Savior of the world. He will shed much blood and will want to
annihilate the worship of God to make himself be looked upon as a God."
Then, pertaining to a later period She speaks of the Anti Christ himself:
"There will be a series of wars until the last war, which will then be fought by the ten kings
of the Antichrist, all of whom will have one and the same plan and will be the only rulers of the
world."
She speaks of the Anti Christ several places after the above mentioned quote. Then, at the end She speaks of the False Christ thus:
"Now is the time, the abyss is opening. Here is the king of kings of
darkness, here is the Beast with his subjects, calling himself the Savior of
the world. He will rise proudly into the air to go to Heaven."
Do notice that in the first quote, when She speaks about the forerunner of the Antichrist She states that he: "...will want to annihilate the worship of God to make himself be looked upon as a God." That is, he will not want to pass himself as God. He will just want to be looked upon as a God.
Then, in the third quote She clearly identifies the False Christ as one who: "... calling himself the Savior of the world. He will rise proudly into the air to go to Heaven." That is, he will want to pass himself as God.
No wonder "they" tried to discredit Melanie, and continue to do so.

What follows is not a "political statement"; it is a prophetic statement.
While the State of Israel, claiming a Divine covenant which God does not acknowledge and will not honor, forcibly extended its UN-given territory through the Six Day War and established what amounts to a "State of Terror" in the Middle East, it continues to ignore a number of UN resolutions condemning a number of the illegal acts conducted by the State of Israel (3).

Basically, there is a push to destroy the last stocks of smallpox, but the US and Russia, who hold them, oppose it on the notion that if “terrorists” acquire or synthesize the virus (meaning synthesize the DNA, which is possible if the sequence has been published), then they would need it to make vaccines.
This is absurd...
First, because a vaccine exists already. It's how smallpox was eliminated, and it's called
Vaccinia virus (guess where we get the word “vaccine” from).
Second, if the virus is eliminated, it makes it that much less likely anybody would get hold of it.
Third, they can as easily synthesize the DNA for portions of it they want to use as vaccines as any terrorists could; in fact, the professionals can do so much better than any amateur.
Fourth, if it is found circulating in the wild, and for some reason vaccinia doesn’t work as well as hoped, it takes no time to re-isolate the new virus from infected individuals.
Fifth, if vaccinia doesn't work that well, it means that the virus has been altered, in which case index samples are useless anyway, and you HAVE to isolate it from infected individuals.

With a little hope opposition leaders asked to meet Archbishop Martin Vidovic, the papal nuncio in Belarus. They carried a letter to the Pope, which said: "Today Belarus is enshrouded in darkness. The Vatican that still claims to be a force for good is staying silent because it is seeking a concordat with a state that still has a KGB and statues of Lenin on its streets, just as it sought accommodation with Nazi Germany in the 1930s.
The advantages for the papacy are hard to judge, because the terms of concordats are secret, but we can assume it wants what it has always wanted: public money and control of children's schooling. The advantages for Lukashenko are easier to grasp.

The last Christmas certainly was an odd one for me...
The Mass was going along just fine and then the priest decided to bring all the younger kids up to the altar. He started asking them what was Christmas. One 5 or 6 year old told the story of the Angel Gabriel etc., but most told of Santa Claus, with many saying he was born on this day.
It was very long and agonizing. He finished it by bringing out Saint Nicholas dressed all in red and the kids oohed and aahed: Santa came!!
St. Nicholas walked across the altar and he knelt down beside the baby Jesus and said a prayer and left (That was the only reverent thing that happened during the fiasco).
The children were disappointed that St. Nicholas didn't talk to them. There were many parents who were not happy about this at all. This is not what the Mass at Christmas should be about. They felt it made the kids look silly and the parents look worse (it did!).
It was not a proud day for the Catholic Church or for the parents. The Mass further deteriorated and the moment was gone. No feeling of goodness came from this service.
Since I had to go to two different houses for Christmas so I could be there for the opening of presents, I drove through two different sections of town. If I hadn't known it was Christmas I would have thought it was another typical business day.
The shops were open and the people were working and shopping. It was very strange. I'm not talking about buying presents; this was grocery stores, auto repair shops, tire shops, liquor stores, restaurants, etc. Very odd, especially since Wal-Mart and Target were closed.
Other than that, I had a great Christmas with family and friends.

I read with interest your post on the Board dated January 10, 2011. (1)
The mention of the Knights of Malta and Knights of Columbus in that post caught my attention because I remembered their mention on the biography of the Board of Directors of the Paulus Institute.
This is the Institute that sponsored the 5th Anniversary of the Pontificate of Benedict XVI that took place in the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, DC., as noted on your April 29, 2010 post on the FYI&R page (2).
The first footnote of that post has a link to the Paulus Institute Board of Directors' biography where I found that there are three Knights of Malta in said board, one of them with a 4 degree rank, while the President and co-founder of the Institute is a Knight of Columbus.

Do you know why... it seems that Haiti "has all the bad luck in the world?
In recent days - as many public events have taken place to remember the devastating earthquake that all but destroyed the little Haitians had - the idea/concept that it was the result of Divine Punishment has been discussed again.
Allow us - once again - to make something perfectly clear: God DOES NOT punish! Love cannot punish - period!
We cannot say that "gravity punished someone who, after falling of a 12th story building rooftop, died". That someone defied the Law of Gravity and the consequence was death by the effect that the Law of Gravity has in our planet.
Conversely - when man defies Divine Law - that is, he drifts away from God - man is exposed to the forces of evil in proportion to how far away he has drifted away from God.

There is an ample and fully illuminated center. Those who move in that ample brilliantly illuminated space are under Divine guidance and protection from harm. As one moves away from that center, you can see that darkness starts to encroach on the "living space" denoted by the darkening bands moving away from the center.
As the "living space" becomes darker, its "residents" become more susceptible to the forces of darkness - thus, exposed to more physical and spiritual danger. Therefore, as one moves away from the very ample safe zone at the center, danger increases. (1)

A thought concerning the 'rain of animals'...
If this occurrence is not a conspiracy or a willful act of human planning, could it be that, like the mine shaft canary, which warned of poisonous or explosive gases by becoming sick or dying underground, today's birds and marine life are dying en masse, warning us on top of the earth that things are not right.
Maybe there's methane gas leaking to the surface of the earth's crust in sufficient concentration through fissures to offset homeostasis of life in a bird; maybe there's enough methane (God knows there is down by the BP Louisiana oil catastrophe) coming up through the sea bed to kill the fish, crabs, etc.
Maybe these fissures are now all over the globe where man has probed and perforated the planet to the point where the crust is no longer stable.
Just look at the seismic world wide activity.
Maybe worldwide the escaping gases will increase exponentially until any sufficient source of ignition from civilization's vast electronics/electricity/energy infrastructure (along with lightning) will surely accommodate the apocalypse.
What government would admit such a finding for fear of mass hysteria and its effects - for fear of endangering the elitists' chances of survival?
What equipment could extinguish fires caused by the aforementioned gases when any such equipment would likely be a source of ignition because of the magnitude and volume of the gas accumulations...
...and the earth will become like a desert... the moon will have a faint reddish glow mirroring the fires on earth.
May God have mercy on us...

A. We have been addressing and highlighting these warnings for years - especially those associated with the rapid increase in earthquake activity (1) (2) as well as those of astronomical nature (3). However, not enough of humanity has responded - just as we expected.
As we have previously said: no government will publicly acknowledge realities in the face of which they are completely powerless - especially when these realities are yet to be manifested in time. This is especially true in situations such as are happening in Australia now, in which all the authorities can do is to do their (inadequate) best against current and foreseen disasters, and to tell citizens to brace for even worse calamities to come.
God will allow mankind to be brought down to its knees by its own abysmal stupidity. We should consider ourselves very fortunate that He will allow some humans to remain, in order to repopulate a recreated planet (4). From our perspective, if He chose to destroy the entire planet we could fully understand His actions and we could not dare to even think "Why?"

Did you know that... thousands of turtle doves fell dead from the sky in Faenza, Italy? (1)
Last Wednesday (January 5th),... countless turtle doves were found scattered in the streets, in
flower beds and hanging tragically from trees "like Christmas balls" in the town of Faenza. Many
of the birds that fell dead from the sky were discovered with a mysterious blue stain in their
beaks.
In the past week, similar incidents of mass animal deaths have been reported across the world. Thousands of dead birds fell from the sky in Arkansas on New Year's Eve, and similar incidents were reported on different days in Louisiana, Kentucky and Sweden. Two million fish were discovered dead in Maryland, with other fish kills also reported in Brazil, New Zealand and Arkansas -- approximately 100 miles from the bird incident. 40,000 crabs washed up on England beaches in the past few days, as well.
While the events are likely unrelated, most still remain a mystery. Officials suggest fireworks are likely responsible for many of the bird deaths and that unusually cold weather could be to blame for the strange mass deaths of fish and crabs.

Yes, you and most Christians should know about this... but only if the Evangelization had been done in accordance to God's Will. Unfortunately, what the Administrators of the Good News did was a complete spiritual failure for the faithful and a roaring financial success for them.
Your questions give us a golden opportunity to bring this up to the faithful at large.
Although we could write the proverbial book about this, we will be brief and to the point.
About Prayer
Prayer should be strung out throughout the day - every day. One can actually pray Rosaries
meditating one decade at a time. A well prayed decade does not take more than five minutes. Do you
realize how many five minute periods we just waste waiting for this or that? Even on a grocery
line. Therefore, for each 25 minutes one well prayed and meditated Rosary has been offered. It is
just a matter of practice. m de P could safely navigate the Houston Freeways at 60-70 mph while
praying and meditating a Rosary.
One should start the day with five to ten minutes of prayers. We have already published an appropriate selection of prayers (1) to choose from.
If one is able to stop all activities 15 minutes before the hour of Mercy - at 3 PM - one should offer the Chaplet of Mercy (2) plus the Special 3 PM prayer. It is a matter of planning and self training. Long before m de P left the world - while he was still involved in business - he was able to do so every day.
One should strive to spend one hour before the Blessed Sacrament once a week. While keeping Our Lord company, one may offer prayers as well as read pious texts - the Holy Bible as the first choice. If one could "drop by" for a quick 5-10 minute visit every day, He would be most pleased.
Stations of the Cross on Fridays would be a very good addition to the prayer schedule. Pray them virtually (3) or in an actual church/chapel - that is, if you find one unlocked.
One should end the day with five to ten minutes of prayers which may be selected from the ones we have already mentioned above (1).

But fasting is not all about food. From time to time one can give up a favorite TV program or movie or game for a specific purpose, i.e. For love of Jesus, in reparation for the offenses committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary and the conversion of sinners.
We must give up what we enjoy and desire, as Abel did and not as Cain did. Giving up something that we do not truly enjoy, desire or need is an insult to God if we present it as a sacrifice. Let us not forget the teachings Jesus gave us through the widow's mite. [Mark 12:44 and Luke 21:4]
If for medical reasons one cannot go a day without nourishment (outside of bread), the solution is simple. On that day eat the foods that you like the least or outright dislike. Sometimes that is even harder than to fast on bread and water.

Many blessings to you and may God hold you closely to Him. The recent articles distributed from a group claiming that the world will end on May 21, 2011 and that Christ is planning to return to earth on that day (1) cause me to pause and reflect.
If these people can convince many that this will occur, wouldn't it be a perfect mechanism to herald the announcement of the antichrist as the world savior.
Even if it doesn't occur on this date, and I'm sure it won't because other events need to take place first, this is the kind of pre hype proclamation that the agents of satan will use to carefully and seamlessly insert his presence under the guise of Christ's return. I have also included a recent New World Order discussion from George Soros talking about marginalizing the US currency, among other thing (2).

Of this "other two" other men, John the Evangelist is the one who asked to the man
clothed in linen how long shall it be to the end of these wonders, [Daniel
12:6] He then recorded the answer to that question for us in the Book of
Revelations.
Daniel also gives us the response received by "...the one who asked: "And I heard the
man clothed in linen ...that it should be unto a time, and times, and half a time..."
[Daniel 12:7]
These are the very precise words found in the Book of Revelations: a time and (two)
times, and half a time [Rev 12:14]
We can trace this same measure of time in two places of the Book of Revelations, written by John
the Evangelist:
1. "The woman was given the two wings of a great eagle, so that she might fly to the
place prepared for her in the desert, where she would be taken care of for one time,
(two) times, and an half (of one time), out of the serpent's reach. [Rev
12:14]
2. "And I will give power to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for 1,260
days, clothed in sackcloth." [Rev. 11:3]
As for the 1,260 days, we know that:
1 time + 2 times + 0.5 times = 3.5 times
3.5 years = 42 months = (30 x 42) days = 1260 days
And, as "coincidences" for remarking the message:
• Both were named John
• Both were men that announced / prophesied (the First Coming, and the Second Coming,
respectively)
• Just as in the text of Daniel, we also find them together in the their life on earth,
since John the Evangelist was at first a disciple of John the Baptist

To answer the original question - point blank: No; the above information has not added to the necessary Divinely Inspired data base that miguel de Portugal holds at this time. As a matter of fact there are other numbers associated with the above which are 1290 and 1335 days - which represent 1260 + 30 (one month) days and 1260 + 30 (one month) + 45 (one and a half month) days.
However, what the Holy Spirit of God has used you to reveal to us is the identity of the three men involved in the scene - something that has always gone unnoticed to m de P. Now, the question is: What may be the value of that?
The way we see it, this illumination is another solid confirmation of the perfect coherence within the Holy Scriptures. It is also the proof that no one - not even miguel de Portugal - and certainly not the Church Administration - has exclusive access to the Lights of the Holy Spirit of God.
May this serve as an example to one and all to allow the Holy Spirit to illuminate your every thought - without any desire to "become a Prophet" but with the great desire to learn more and more about the Marvels that God has in store for those who seek them.

[The Most Holy Name of Jesus]
Did you know that... Benedict XVI on Saturday announced that he would hold an interfaith meeting in Assisi, Italy, this October to mark the 25th anniversary of a watershed meeting held there by his predecessor, John Paul II? (1)

In the ever-shifting legacy of a complex papacy, the announcement seemed intended to show
Benedict's good will toward other faiths after years in which he was criticized by Muslims, Jews
and other Christian denominations, especially Anglicans. But it was also significant because
as the longtime head of the Vatican's powerful doctrinal office when he was Cardinal Joseph
Ratzinger, he was widely seen as having had serious reservations about the 1986 meeting, where
leaders of all faiths met and prayed.
In a speech in 1990, then-Cardinal Ratzinger declared interreligious relativism - in effect, honoring other religions as equal to Christianity - "the fundamental problem of faith in our time". In 2000, he drew intense criticism from leaders of other faiths for "Dominus Jesus", a document that essentially stated that Christianity was the only true path to salvation. And it has been a recurring theme at the heart of his six-year-old papacy.
In a speech in 1990, then-Cardinal Ratzinger declared interreligious relativism - in effect, honoring other religions as equal to Christianity - "the fundamental problem of faith in our time". How perfectly coherent! Whoever is to be the spring board for the False Christ must pave the way amongst the people of all faiths so that they swallow the bait with less difficulty. Since Maledict is that springboard (2) now, but had not been "invested" as such in 1990, he must now repair those "bridges" to people of other faiths.
This is the same situation with the Fatima message about which we had to admonish him, through a letter, in 1997 (3). You see, he was still not aware about the use of Fatima for the planned manipulation of the End of These Times. Once he became "invested" as the springboard for the False Christ, the situation changed dramatically. Now Maledict passes himself off as a "Fatima Pope".
Perhaps it is time for us to tell you, in so many words, that: Maledict is to the manifestation of the False Christ (4) as miguel de Portugal is to the manifestation of the Real Second Coming of Christ.
As it should be - most will believe Maledict and a precious few will believe miguel de Portugal. Nothing has changed. The reason is the same given by Jesus for speaking in parables:

[11] Who answered and said to them: Because to you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven: but to them it is not given. [12] For he that hath, to him shall be given, and he shall abound: but he that hath not, from him shall be taken away that also which he hath. [14] And the prophecy of Isaias is fulfilled in them, who saith: By hearing you shall hear, and shall not understand: and seeing you shall see, and shall not perceive. [15] For the heart of this people is grown gross, and with their ears they have been dull of hearing, and their eyes they have shut: lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them. [Matthew 13]

The above evaluation of the global situation is indeed correct. Where we differ is that we know that: (a) All is on schedule (2); and (b) There will be no recovery until after the upcoming global cataclysm - a cataclysm which will make the one identified by the Judeo-Christian tradition as Noah's Flood tame by comparison.
Any false hope would be deadly, therefore, we encourage each and every one of you to receive the year 2011 in prayer and penitence. All we can do is cushion the blows that have already commenced.
