Dr. Birx: “I knew these vaccines were not going to protect against infection”

From PD

Did you know that...?

Dr. Deborah Birx says she ‘knew’ Covid vaccines would not ‘protect against infection’ | Fox News” (1)

Birx knew the vaccine didn’t work. She lied.
Now she is pushing another drug.

PD

Our response:

Thank you! for bringing this to our attention.

Mrs. PD is referring to these words from Dr. Birx, July 22, 2022:  (1)

“I knew these vaccines were not going to protect against infection. And I think we overplayed the vaccines, and it made people then worry that it’s not going to protect against severe disease and hospitalization. It will. But let’s be very clear: 50% of the people who died from the Omicron surge were older, vaccinated. So that’s why I’m saying even if you’re vaccinated and boosted, if you’re unvaccinated right now, the key is testing and Paxlovid.

For those who do not know who is Dr. Birx: From 2020 to 2021, she served as the White House Coronavirus Response Coordinator under President Donald Trump and was largely responsible for the lockdown policies during the Trump presidency. (2)

We have noticed that the above statement from Dr. Birx has been widely echoed and criticized in alternative media and forums. In this post, we will cover some angles that are not fully covered in the related articles we have viewed.

In the notes to this post you will find two basic references:

For the primary source of Birx statement, see: Birx in Fox News: “I knew these vaccines were not going to protect against infection” (1)

For a non-mainstream analysis more complete than the average critical posts dealing with Birx's confession, see: An analysis by Zachary Stieber in The Epoch Times, 22-Jul-2022 (3)

As it seems, the Fox News' headline, “Dr. Deborah Birx says she knew Covid vaccines would not protect against infection”, spread like fire in alternative media. However, by spreading this news, many were also (unwillingly) spreading the message, carried by Birx's interview, that the controlling masters wanted to spread, which, to paraphrase, is:

“This is not a sign that the vaccines are failing, because the vaccines were not designed to prevent infection (!) and they are still preventing severe disease and hospitalization”.

One has to wonder whether this was not precisely the goal of the Fox headline: to spread the “vaccines have not failed” message riding on the back of the controversial “Birx lied”, knowing that the alternative media would spread the headline like wildfire.

We must emphasize that the main purpose of the interview with Birx on Fox News that day (22 July 2022) was to dismiss the news, from the day before, that Biden had contracted the disease despite being “fully vaccinated”.

Was Dr. Birx changing her tune on Covid pseudo-vaccines?

It is fair to note that, in the past, Birx had publicly expressed uncertainty about the ability of the injections to prevent infection (4). And that is precisely why they wanted her in front of the cameras that day, to proclaim “we told you so” and “therefore, Biden's case is normal”.

The key, which many have already described as a scandal (3), is that she is now talking about a knowledge (“I knew...”) and not just uncertainty. Since when did she know that the pseudo-vaccines (5) do not protect against infection?

“Early on, in January 2021, in late December 2020” it was a very logical conclusion for her that the “vaccines” do not stop infection, according to her testimony in a Congress Hearing in June 2022:  (6)

“We knew, early on, in January 2021, in late December 2020, that reinfection was occurring after natural infection. ..... I knew that people who were naturally infected were getting reinfected, and that was quite evident from South Africa, .... There was evidence from the global pandemic that natural reinfection was occurring, and since the vaccine was based on natural immunity, you cannot make the conclusion that the vaccine will do better than natural infection, although it can often do slightly better.”

Yet, an important precision is, particularly in the Fox interview cited at the beginning of this article: If, by saying “infections”, she is including mild and medium disease (by exclusion from those cases that are not “severe disease or hospitalization”), why did she not say “I knew these vaccines were not going to protect against disease”?

Should Birx be held accountable for this?

We believe that a fair discussion about Birx's responsibility (regarding her “I knew these vaccines were not going to protect against infection”) would be incomplete without clarifying the above-mentioned precision, because the consequences are different:

(a) If she is talking about infections that do not cause a “vaccinated” person to contract the disease, then, at least at first sight, it would be a minor issue whether or not she was aware that these “vaccines” do not prevent infections. It is theoretically possible for a medical treatment to prevent the disease without necessarily preventing the infection. This is the line of reasoning that some use to defend Birx and his colleagues. Is their defense justified?

(b) If she is talking about infections that do cause or can cause the disease in “vaccinated” people, then her responsibility is not entirely new, it was already a scandal when she was uncertain about it (4) and yet she helped promote vaccines as if they were surely effective. How many cases of real disease is she hiding under the “infections” carpet? This may have varied over time, according to her relative knowledge over time and the relative efficacy of the injections over time.

In the second part of this post we will show that, at least when Dr. Birx made her controversial “I knew” statement, she was hiding more than just symptomless infections in the word “infections”.

Would she have said “I think we overplayed the vaccines” if it were not so?

But, first, the most important question...

Do Covid pseudo-vaccines prevent severe cases and hospitalizations?

Fact 1. The trials for FDA approval were designed to evaluate mild, not severe, disease.

That they also prevented severe disease (hospitalization and death) was assumed to be a corollary, not a fact proven by the trials. (7)

Fact 2. In 2022, the effectiveness of the pseudo-vaccines for preventing severe disease was not 95%.

Reportedly, the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines provided only 51 percent protection against hospitalizations (an similar severe events) related to the virus variants. (8)

Plus, there is the question that the alleged immunization wanes over a few months. (8)

So, it seems that, in July 2022, when Birx said “I think we overplayed the vaccines”, she was still overplaying them by advising not to “worry that it’s not going to protect against severe disease and hospitalization”.

We guess that anyone who still trusts her word, would still trust her even if one day she says “we overplayed Paxlovid, the key now is Whatever-replacement-ovid”.

By the way, did you catch the subtle message (not from God) hidden in that name, Pax (Peace), Lov (Love), Id?

(2) Who is Dr. Birx?

From 2014 to 2020, Birx served as the United States global AIDS coordinator for Presidents Barack Obama and Donald Trump. From 2020 to 2021, she served as the White House Coronavirus Response Coordinator under President Donald Trump. Vice President Mike Pence called her his “right arm” on this task force. She a physician and diplomat specialized in HIV/AIDS immunology, vaccine research, and global health. (Source)

(3) The Epoch Times, Zachary Stieber (22-Jul-2022): “Birx says Covid-19 vaccines were never ‘going to protect against infection’”

(4) For example:

(22-Dec-2020) Birx at Gray DC: “Right now, we don’t know how great these vaccines might be against preventing infection. So you may get a low grade infection and you may shed virus. We know it protects against disease and protects against severe disease”

(1-May-2022) Birx at CBS News: “We have to make it very clear to the American people that your protection against infection wanes”

(5) In saying “pseudo-vaccines”, we stick to the traditional understanding that vaccines are intended to stop the spread of an epidemic. According to the most recent official criteria, Covid injections are only intended to “offer some protection against disease, without ensuring prevention of infection or transmission”, which, in medical terms, is more like a drug than a vaccine. When we refer to these biological devices as “vaccines”, within quotation marks, the meaning is “what they call vaccines”.

(7) Were the trials for the injections designed to prevent severe disease?

BMJ, Peter Doshi: (summarizing his October 21, 2020, paper) In the trials, they were evaluating mild, not severe disease. Trials were not designed to evaluate the injections ability to save lives, prevent serious illness or stop transmission.

Michael P. Senger (April 24, 2022): “The mRNA vaccines were originally approved by the FDA based on a reduction in symptoms among young recipients. Pfizer and Moderna did not design their RCTs (randomized controlled trials) to determine whether the mRNA vaccines actually reduced mortality.”

Robert W. Malone (summarizing a FDA April 6, 2022, meeting): “We have no correlate of protection, the FDA is relying heavily on real world studies (confounded data) and the agency still has not demanded any randomized controlled trials to show the bivalent booster can reduce severe disease or hospitalizations.”

As pointed by Mary Beth Pfeiffer about the approval of Covid-19 “vaccines” for children (June 17, 2022): “It’s worth noting that the only severe hospitalization in the trial was in a vaccinated two-year-old” – Then, we ask: How can the risk of hospitalization be determined with such data?

(8) The Epoch Times, Zachary Stieber (15-Jul-2022):

“The Moderna and Pfizer vaccines provided just 51 percent protection against emergency department visits, urgent care encounters, and hospitalizations related to Covid-19 during the time BA.2 and BA.2.12.1, subvariants of the Omicron virus variant, were predominant in the United States, CDC researchers found.”

And... “Other research has indicated (in April 2022) that the protection from a fourth dose quickly wanes as well.”

New Judeo-Christian Liturgical Calendar for the year 2023

We have already published the...

New Judeo-Christian Liturgical Calendar for the year 2023 - Inspired in the Calendar Jesus Used and His Manifestation in Time

In a more compact format, you can view a table for the years 2016-2025.

A reminder:

New Judeo-Christian Liturgical Calendar. Why? What Does It Mean? Why Is It Spiritually Important?

The Calendar that Jesus used was the Essene Calendar. This is the liturgical calendar we adhere to from the Year 2018. In the year of  His Crucifixion, Jesus' Passover Meal did not coincide with that of the Temple Masters (1)(2) because He practiced another kind of Judaism, one that was not adulterated (3). It is time that all Christians learn about the real life of the One, and Only, Messiah (4) and what it should mean to those who use the term "Christian" to identify their faith.

(3) The Judaism Jesus ascribed to, and came to uphold before the Temple Masters, was rooted in the same Judaism practiced by the Samaritans
