I read the CIA / Castro document that you posted in full earlier this day prior to reading your follow up e-mail, and was beyond shocked by what I read as well.

My thoughts since then have centered on how we, Americans, could have been completely duped by our so-called leaders; leaders whom we trusted to serve and to protect us from our enemies.

How could we have been so clueless to the reality of what was really going on behind those particular closed doors when all those meetings were taking place?

Then again, if we had known, would we have believed such devastating knowledge? Or would we have chosen to deny it as it would have been too much for us to bear?

I do wonder why this volatile document was released during this particular time frame when the threat of nuclear holocaust has never been so great. Surely those who allowed its release knew exactly what they were doing.

Simply because most humans seem to neglect the key "lie detector" - coherence

We have been on-line since 1998 and writing to world and Ecclesiastical leaders since 1992. Everything that we have announced in broad brush strokes has been happening and continue to happen. You would expect that, if the majority were not on denial we would have even greater traffic than we now have - 19 years later!

Denial rules but.... as we frequently repeat, even satan must serve God. In this case by fostering the spirit of denial.

First, the "gate is narrow":

"Enter ye in at the narrow gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way that leadeth to destruction, and many there are who go in thereat." [Matthew 7:13]

Secondly, we would not want those destined to Eternal damnation to see, hear and understand what they should not.

Therefore do I speak to them in parables: because seeing they see not, and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. .... lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them. [Matthew 13: 13,15]

Since we do not speak in parables, it is their state of denial that prevents them from "see(ing) with their eyes, and hear(ing) with their ears, and understand(ing) with their heart" so that they will not "understand with their heart, and be converted"

We must admit that I would love to see the conversion of all - in Time. The problem is that those who, in the Eternal Time Frame, are already in hell they cannot die in a state that would cause them to enter Heaven. We suggest a review of our document on Time and Eternity which will explain it as much as God has allowed us to do so.

As you may recall, the fall of the US from the power it still is is a requirement for the architects of the New World Order (NWO). Therefore, one group is trying to get Mr. Trump out of the White House to continue moving towards their civilized vision/version of the NWO, while satan is trying to plunge the world into chaotic despair so that he can come as the false savior.

Contradictory? No! satan is using the intentions of the NWO architects to push Mr. Trump against the wall so that, his reaction will finally plunge the world into chaotic despair. A situation which will cause most humans to accept just about any "savior" that promises them salvation from the state the world fell into.

satan's final stretch started after World War II ended.

The document released did what no one had been able to do before - summarily take away from the US the "moral high ground" it has maintained since the end of Word War II.

As we stated, with that document in hand North Korea and Iran, to mention the two world hottest spots right now, can justify every single anti US step they may take - nuclear included.

I pray that we have been clear enough in our explanation. If we have failed and further clarification is needed, please, let us know.

In yesterday's Gospel [Lk 12:54-59] there are two powerful messages that are very timely:

The first message is based on the first part of the Gospel:

Jesus said to the crowds, "When you see a cloud rising in the west you say immediately that it is going to rain, and so it does; and when you notice that the wind is blowing from the south you say that it is going to be hot, and so it is. You hypocrites! You know how to interpret the appearance of the earth and the sky; why do you not know how to interpret the present time?

The perfect example of the state of denial: The people are intelligent enough to predict the weather but their state of denial at the time (which lasts until today among Jews) will not allow them to recognize the Messiah, thus the Beginning of These Times.

Today, Christians and Jews alike do not recognize that we are at the End of These Times and, consequently, most will fall for the False Christ.

The second message is based on the second part of the Gospel:

If you are to go with your opponent before a magistrate, make an effort to settle the matter on the way; otherwise your opponent will turn you over to the judge, and the judge hand you over to the constable, and the constable throw you into prison. I say to you, you will not be released until you have paid the last penny."

The black-and-white reality of the Purgatory. We must get our spiritual house in order (settle the matter on the way) before we appear before the Throne of God (the judge), Who, if we have not (settled the matter on the way) will then have an angel escort us (into prison.... and.... you will not be released until you have paid the last penny) to Purgatory.

As we understand it, the payment for our sins in Purgatory consists in witnessing - as long as we must stay there - the consequences our sins had on others, loved ones as well as perfect strangers.

While on the subject of Purgatory.... let us not forget the many souls who are there and have no one praying to shorten their time.

Let us secure for them many Plenary Indulgences so that many may be released from Purgatory sooner than their sentences allow.

Have you ever... stopped to think - really think - about the importance of St. Joseph?

He is the most important Saint among all saints.

Mary, of course, is beyond a saint. There is no other human more exalted than Her since She was an extraordinary human. Conceived without the original sin and the formative vessel for the human body of God.

That leaves St. Joseph as the unquestionable No. 1 Saint of all times. We know very little about him, but the little we know is more than enough....

God chose him to be head of the most important Family Creation ever had. He was the symbolic spouse of the most extraordinary human ever born - Mary - and the symbolic father of God in the flesh.

After having meditated on the above while in prayer, I will never see St. Joseph the same again. All saints pale before him.

In an exclusive interview with NBC News, Cuban officials forcefully denied that their government is to blame for the mysterious ailments that have afflicted two dozen American diplomats and plunged relations with the U.S. into crisis.

U.S. officials believe some kind of sonic weapon was used to attack embassy staffers and their relatives between the fall of 2016 and this August, but the Cubans claim they don't even have that technology - and U.S. experts say they don't know of technology that would produce the reported symptoms.

As we have mentioned, and implied, before many times: God is standing back and allowing evil plans take their course while looking after His own... who are those who have 'Eyes to See' and 'Ears to Hear'.

On Saturday Mass' Gospel [Luke 12:8-12] we read:

I tell you, everyone who acknowledges me before others the Son of Man will acknowledge before the angels of God. But whoever denies me before others will be denied before the angels of God. [Luke 12:8-9]

The "acknowledgment" as well as the "denial" refers to 'by deed' and not necessarily 'by word'. As we do not tire of pointing out: "Talk is so cheap that is has no value."

If only a small percentage of those who claim to be Christian (of all denominations) acknowledged Him by deed and not just by word, the world would be close to a paradisiacal state. What will be left of the world population will provide the final confirmation to our words.

Did you know that..... robots are being passed for humans in the 'social media' world and influencing real humans? (1)

A social bot - a social robot - is a particular type of chatterbot that is employed in social media networks to automatically generate messages (e.g. tweets) or in general advocate certain ideas, support campaigns, and public relations either by acting as a "follower" or even as a fake account that gathers followers itself.

Social bots appear to have played a significant role in the United States presidential election, 2016 and their history appears to go back at least to the United States midterm elections, 2010. As you know, there are many technological non-human assistants that people can talk to in the Smart Phones, Tablets, etc., etc.

That has been made possible by algorithms that can perform calculation, data processing and automated reasoning tasks. That is, created Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Now then, we are waiting for the debut of the AJ - the Artificial Jesus. There is enough logic and reasoning in the New Testament pages to create a very believable Artificial Jesus. We have no doubt whatsoever that it has been done already and it will be launched at the same time or just before the False Christ makes his debut.

As the saying goes - forewarned is forearmed.

It seems that.... ultra non-nuclear Japan has seen the proverbial light... which means that said 'light' must be very bright!

The Sunday Mass Gospel [Mt 22:15-21] ended as follows:

Tell us, then, what is your opinion: Is it lawful to pay the census tax to Caesar or not?" Knowing their malice, Jesus said, "Why are you testing me, you hypocrites? Show me the coin that pays the census tax."

Then they handed him the Roman coin. He said to them, "Whose image is this and whose inscription?" They replied, "Caesar's." At that he said to them, "Then repay to Caesar what belongs to Caesar and to God what belongs to God."

What does that really mean? It is quite simple....

When one's judgment and decisions are based the financial outcome of such decision, that individual is not of God - no matter what he/she may claim.

On the other hand, when the judgment is based on the teachings of the Word of God, that individual is of God - even if he/she claims to ba an atheist as the result of their revulsion towards the "Evangelizers".

You see? All is so incredibly simple!

While composing/meditating the above I realized that for the following to manifest itself in our lives....

Seek ye therefore first the kingdom of God, and his justice, and all these things shall be added unto you. [Mat 6:33]

...we have to prove to God, without a shred of a doubt, that our judgments are based by the Word of God and not by the financial outcome.

This is the first time that I have consciously realized the connection even though I have been experiencing it for 32 years.

Amazing! Simply amazing!

In the first reading [Rom. 4:1-8] of yesterday's Mass we hear again the often repeated comparison of being saved (justified) by the works versus being saved (justified) by the faith. Allow us to bring this comparison into today's realities.

The "works" today should be seen as "going through the 'Christian' motions" by those who consider themselves Christians; the "faith" should be seen as "behaving as a Christian" simply because one has faith in the Words and Teachings of Jesus Christ.

The Gospel [Luke 12:1-7] of that same Mass again reminds us not to be afraid of those who kill the body, but to, instead, be afraid of the one who after killing the body has the power to cast the soul into Gehenna.

Let us deliver the core message in simple and easily understand words in today's world: Do not sell your soul to save your body or, in even better understood terms in the light of frequently read news: Do not sell your soul (by selling your body) to save/promote your career.

We know that the world, who mostly lives in denial, likes to forget that Jesus said in very clear terms....

How narrow is the gate, and strait is the way that leadeth to life: and few there are that find it! [Matthew 7:14]

....and that is exactly what He meant.

Brethren, the first step in reducing one's suffering at either side of the veil (assuming one is counted among the Elect) is to abandon the state of denial, acknowledge all that one has done that is contrary to the Word of God and appeal to His Mercy. God will not reject a sorrowful and contrite heart; however, He will summarily reject a hypocritical and ritualistic (going through the motions) heart.

Remember....

The worst sin that man may have ever committed is but a grain of sand when compared to the Oceans of His Mercy!

and that

The more we need His Mercy the more He wants to grant it to us.

Call me obsessive-compulsive but I just want to make absolutely sure that ....I am innocent of the blood of any.... For I have not hesitated to proclaim to you the whole will of God. [Acts 20:26]

I do not want anyone in the Purgatory telling me: If you had only told (warned) me about 'this' or 'that'.....!

...meanwhile, back to the world....

Last week we heard that.... Fox business reported that Washington Post will run an ad from Larry Flynt and Hustler Magazine announcing a cash offer of up to 10 million dollars for information leading to the impeachment and removal from office of Donald J. Trump.

The New York times rejected the ad.

Comment: What an opportunity the White House missed! By identifying Mr. Flynt and Hustler Magazine as Mr. Trump enemies, citing their below sewer standards and invoking the Bible, Mr. Trump would have come out smelling as the proverbial rose.

He hath Beelzebub, and by the prince of devils he casteth out devils. And after He had called them together, He said to them in parables: How can Satan cast out Satan? And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand. And if Satan be risen up against himself, he is divided, and cannot stand, but hath an end. [Mark 3: 22-26]

Just an observation and not "Trump promotion".

Now, as far as what that means to the general public: The difference between the New York Times and the Washington Post has become crystal clear.

We recently found out that when Card. Ratzinger was elected as Benedict XVI, Card. Jorge Maria Bergoglio, who eight years later became Francis, was a very close first runner up.

What struck us was the parallel with the Presidency of Mr. Clinton - a two term Presidency lasting eight years - which was blamed by Mr. Gorbachev for the delay (1) of the establishment of the New World Order (2).

Amazingly enough - but in keeping with Divine Designs - having God delayed the efforts to establish a New World Order by electing and keeping Mr. Clinton eight years in office, He also had to delay the efforts to establish the One World Religion by eight years. That He did by causing Ratzinger to be elected over Bergoglio and, when the eight years were up, Benedict XVI resigned.

Can anyone imagine where the world would be now if Francis had been "Pope" since 2005?

God in His infinite Mercy compressed that period so that ....those days had been shortened, no flesh should be saved: but for the sake of the elect those days shall be shortened. [Matthew 24:22]

When will puny man will ever learn that God will always have the Last Word?

The following is an excerpt from a letter received from a close collaborator.
[Name has been changed to protect the privacy of all concerned]:

What I'm understanding/interpreting from your response, is this: We, whom Joe considered to be his “real” family, somehow along the way, switched from being his supporters to becoming his enablers. And that this transition happened without any of us even realizing it.

I have difficulty grasping how we could not be aware of this, as well as accepting the “blanket” conclusion that “no one” ever notices the difference between charity and enabling.

As we stated in our original communication to our collaborator - this is one of the most used - and effective - tricks used by satan since he has the possibility of "hitting" both sides in every interaction. Indeed we must exercise great charity towards those who are truly struggling to escape their dysfunctional behavior, however, we must be quite firm with the others. The question is: How can we tell one from the other?

Instead of using complex theological terms, we will use simple examples.

Example No. 1

Our best contact in Salamanca was a good friend who was well placed in the local legal and military systems. Whenever I visited Salamanca, all I had to do, upon arrival, was to call on the phone and they would roll out the proverbial red carpet and prepare a sumptuous dinner for me - without any prior notice.

His problem - a foul mouth. I gently, but firmly, asked him not to use such language. At times he would struggle to avoid such language, therefore, I would go the extra mile and tolerated the few words that escaped him. Then, one day, he decided that "enough was enough" and out of his mouth started to pour foul and sacrilegious language again. I terminated the relationship immediately making sure he knew why; while at the same time leaving the door open in case that he wanted to clean up his language and restart our friendship.

You see, I knew perfectly well that in discharging his professions he was in contact with many professionals, and appeared in many courtrooms, yet he would not use that kind of unacceptable language. He had the intellect and will to eliminate such language if he wanted to, but he consciously chose to stain my ears and brain with foul and sacrilegious language. That was more than enough reason to cut off the (very advantageous to me) friendship.

Years later, he spotted me in Salamanca.... rushed to me, embraced and kissed me (that is customary here among male close friends) and all is well now.

Example No. 2

A symbolic way to convey the same message:

(a) You see someone drowning.
(b) You jump in the water and try to save him/her.
(c) They put up a great resistance which will not allow you to save him/her and will end in causing the drowning of both.
(d) You turn around and, alone, swim back to safety and let him/her drown.

While on this subject, let us now talk about forgiveness.

In response to Peter's question: Lord, how often shall my brother offend against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?
Jesus said to him: I say not to thee, till seven times; but till seventy times seven times. [Matthew 18:21-22]

Of course, that is indeed true unless by doing so we are becoming enablers to the offender.

How can we tell if we are becoming enablers or not through our repeated forgiveness?

If the offender recognizes his/her wrongdoing and makes a sustained effort to improve his/her behavior, then we must keep on forgiving and helping him/her just as the Father helped the prodigal son on his journey back home.

I will arise, and will go to my father, and say to him: Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee: I am not worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants. And rising up he came to his father. And when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and was moved with compassion, and running to him fell upon his neck, and kissed him.

And the son said to him: Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee, I am not now worthy to be called thy son. [Luke 15:18-21]

Regarding the writer's statement: "I have difficulty.... accepting the 'blanket' conclusion that 'no one' ever notices the difference between charity and enabling."

Correction - instead of writing 'no one' we should have written 'most' to be coherent with the beginning of our paragraph which we now quote, in its original and incorrect from, below:

Tragically, all of you fell for another of satan's favorite tricks: Your family became Joe's enablers. There is a fine distinction between providing support and feeding the dysfunction. Without, first, Divine Illumination, and second, psychiatric help, most humans fall for it. As we have said many times - "satan was not born yesterday!" he disguises enabling with charity and no one notices it.

Unfortunately we do not have a physical staff to provide all of the support that we need to fulfill God's Will, and such errors in syntax escape us once in a while.

That is why we have the following standing request to our readers: If you read something that seems incoherent or makes no sense, let us know right away. Just as the above quoted collaborator did and for which we are thankful.

I have just become aware now that said Cardinal is in the "Listing of Cardinals in the Opus Dei Orbit" (3), an inclusion supported by the following quote from an Opus Dei site: (4)

Have you ever pondered why God allowed the slaughter of all the .... infants that were in Bethlehem, and in all the borders thereof, from two years old and under? [Matthew 2:16]

Did those children have worthy - by Divine standards - people praying on their behalf? Most likely not - thus their vulnerability.

We must never, ever, forget that God gave us ....dominion over the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the air, and the beasts, and the whole earth, and every creeping creature that moveth upon the earth [Genesis 1:26] That is, we are responsible for whatever goes wrong in Creation if we did not use the "tools" He placed in our hands to correct whatever needed correcting in it.

Conversely, He showers us with Blessings to take care of Creation, and also as the result of doing so.

If most people would realize how real is the scene of each one of us standing before God while accounting for our deeds during our journey through Time, they would behave quite differently.

With that said - Can you imagine the scene of each one entrusted in Evangelizing the children of God standing before God accounting for their deeds during their journey through Time? Not "a pretty picture"!

That is why we must pray much for all who were originally entrusted with such sublime task and yet failed it.

Recent Mass readings have dealt with Jonas and Ninive.

There are some gems hidden in the Jonas-Ninive saga that seldom see the light. We would like to bring them to your attention now in case you may not be aware of them.

We all know that finally Jonas marched through Ninive announcing its impending destruction (Jonas 3) and that even the animals had to do penance and fast. The King said: [9]Who can tell if God will turn, and forgive: and will turn away from his fierce anger, and we shall not perish?

First gem: Notice that Ninive's King did not barter with God - as most Christians do - and he offered the sacrifice upfront hoping that God would have Mercy on them. That IS the way it should be done and not as most Christians do who promise God some sacrifice only if He does this or that. Yes, we are referring to those typically Catholic "promises" that are made to God. (*)

(*) This is not the fault of the Faithful. This is the fault of the alleged Evangelizers.

We are to always offer the sacrifice "up front" and then, abandoning ourselves to His Mercy, pray that He accepts it and grant whatever we seek.

Second gem: God relented and did not destroy Ninive (Jonas 4) and Jonas, instead of rejoicing was mad at God for He was Merciful.

Let us take a look at what God said to Jonas about His actions: [11]And shall not I spare Ninive, that great city, in which there are more than a hundred and twenty thousand persons that know not how to distinguish between their right hand and their left, and many beasts?

Fast forward to the time of Jesus. Didn't He say: But he that knew not, and did things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes [Luke 12:48 A] ? There you have it - the Ninivites did know not how to distinguish between their right hand and their left but did what they could, without bartering with God, and the consequences of their past actions were blotted out: Divine Justice overturned by Divine Mercy.

As you may know, eventually Ninive was destroyed.... but why after having been spared once?

Well, by then, having been saved by the Mercy of God, they now knew well how to distinguish between their right hand and their left, yet they went back to their sinful ways. Perfectly coherent with what Jesus also said: And unto whomsoever much is given, of him much shall be required: and to whom they have committed much, of him they will demand the more. [Luke 12:48 B]

Among the Divine Perfections we can certainly count His Perfect Coherence.

As a matter of theo-political interest.... the original Ninive was in the outskirts of today's Mosul in Iraq.

In yesterday's Forwarded News.... miguel de Portugal closed his comments with:

In spite of the tens of millions of documents downloaded from our servers over the last 19 years, many people still say: "What does that miguel de Portugal know?"..... and they are right!

miguel de Portugal knows little outside of God's toll free telephone number..... since all the credit, and certainly all the Glory, is His!

Notice that he did not say that it was a "private number"; he said it was a "toll free number" which carries the implication that is free to all.

As we have said in the past, the only functions of religious institutions in their effort to Evangelize are to: (a) help the budding faithful understand the existence of such "a number"; (b) help him/her discern it and dial it; and (b) be of assistance should there be difficulty in establishing the communication or there is interference or "poor coverage".... and nothing else!

It is God the One Who has all the answers; answers which are expressed differently to each one of us depending on our situation - spiritual, psychological and material.

Let's get out of His Way and allow Him to use us as He sees fit. That IS the only real service that we can provide Him - serving others just as the Samaritan did [Luke 10:33].

Google admitted its new smart speaker was eavesdropping on users? (1)

A major flaw has been detected in the newly-unveiled Google Home Mini speaker that allows it to secretly record conversations without users knowing.

Last week, Google showed off its next-generation smart speakers at an event in San Francisco. Following the event, it sent members of the press home with a review unit of the Google Home Mini, expected to launch on October 19.

Android Police tech blogger and founder Artem Russakovskii was the first to discover a bug in the software used by those devices. After using the gadget, he went to his Google activity account page and noticed it was populated with audio clips recorded in his home.

Comments: A "flaw" or was it a conscious effort to eavesdrop which was renamed "flaw" once it was exposed?

The Gospel that we read last Sunday was from Luke 17:5-10. The second part of the gospel sounds quite rough and perhaps, to many, the message gets lost as the result of such roughness. To wit:

7 Suppose one of you has a servant plowing or looking after the sheep. Will he say to the servant when he comes in from the field, ‘Come along now and sit down to eat’? 8 Won't he rather say, ‘Prepare my supper, get yourself ready and wait on me while I eat and drink; after that you may eat and drink’? 9 Will he thank the servant because he did what he was told to do? 10 So you also, when you have done everything you were told to do, should say, ‘We are unworthy servants; we have only done our duty.’

If we look at it objectively under the light of: (a) the real Creation story; and (b) our frequent complaints to God for everything an anything, the message may become crystal clear.

Allow us to explain....

1. God creates man in His image and places Creation in his hands. The only requirement was not to try to take His place.
2. Man try to take God's place and gets summarily kicked out of a paradisiacal state.
[The Adam and Eve is a symbolic, but very accurate, representation of what really happened.]
3. God allows man to tumble and stumble paying for his arrogance, then, He calls Abraham into action.
4. Abraham, Moses, the prophets, etc. come and go and man continues tumble and stumble, now paying for his stupidity.
5. Finally God manifests Himself in a human body - Jesus - with a message that can be summarized as: "What is what you, blockheads, do not understand about the Law and the Prophets?" In an effort to help us see what we are blind to.
6. God is even willing to pay for the return-to-paradise ticket for us blockheads with only one condition.... we must serve Him by serving one another - by striving to be like Him - as we journey through Time.

Now, review the above quoted Gospel reading again. Does it look that rough now?

We are unworthy servants - unworthy of God manifesting Himself in a human body and suffer the unspeakable for our benefit.

Do we expect to be thanked by Him for our "generosity" in accepting the return-to-paradise ticket?

We are not even worthy of the crumbs that fall off His table [Mat. 15:27], yet we complain about everything!

Perhaps we should start wearing our shoes on our knees as we "walk" about on them making reparation for the continued offenses that we do not seem to stop "gifting" God with!

Let us take the Publican's attitude and forego that of the Pharisee [Luke 18:11-14] - our favorite one! - and maybe He will have Mercy on us - a Mercy that we do not deserve, but will humbly and full of gratitude accept!

Have you heard that..... Francis and Orthodox leader make climate change appeal to 'heal wounded creation'? (1)

Pope Francis and Orthodox Christian leader Patriarch Bartholomew called on Friday for a collective response from world leaders to climate change, saying the planet was deteriorating and vulnerable people were the first to be affected.

The appeal comes three months after U.S. President Donald Trump withdrew from a global agreement, struck in Paris, to limit greenhouse gas emissions.

“We urgently appeal to those in positions of social and economic, as well as political and cultural, responsibility to hear the cry of the earth and to attend to the needs of the marginalized,” Francis and Bartholomew said in a joint statement.

Comment: They still do not get it! A wounded creation is the product of wounded souls who - after 2,000 years of make-me-rich "Evangelization" - are still severely wounded, ignorant and disoriented.

Of course, they have managed to transfer the responsibility of a failed Evangelization to Mr. Trump. [Remember! We are no 'Trump lovers'. We are just illustrating the level of the pass-the-buck mentality of "Their Holinesses".]

Why should we be surprised - the "crown jewel" of the Spanish Cardinals - Rouco Varela - in a personal letter to miguel de Portugal (2) - squarely placed the responsibility of the failed Evangelization effort on the faithful.

In the past - more than once - we have spoken about the disproportionate importance given to relics. A situation which is even made worse by the multitude of obviously fake and supposedly "highly important" relics as, for example, the multitude of foreskin samples allegedly from Jesus, considerable amount of samples of maternal milk for Mary, enough wood from Jesus' cross to almost build the famed bridge over the River Kwai, and on and on.

It is quite understandable why so many Europeans have lost the Faith and kept the rituals as just another social event.

However, that does not mean that legitimate relics should not be appreciated - not adored nor used as talismans, but appreciated. We try to see them as Holy Souvenirs which certainly have a place in the practicing of any faith.

Because of the bad press relics have been given by their inappropriate usage in the Roman Catholic Church, is why we have not mentioned to you that we have some very special, and legitimate, Relics that were given to us by a local family in Fatima. A family of very humble beginnings, like all Fatima locals, and who became very wealthy as the result of tourism. They had lost their way but God used me to bring them back to Him. In appreciation they helped me while I was in Fatima (1992 - 1993) and gave me their two prized Relics: (a) a bit of the root, with dirt included, of the holm oak upon which Mary used to appear to the children; and (b) a baseball size rock/stone that was part of St. Joseph's house in Nazareth.

They picked up the root and associated dirt as the builders were preparing the place where Our Lady of Fatima statue is placed in the Chapel of the Apparitions today - which is exactly where the original holm oak stood. The part of St. Joseph's house wall was taken when they visited Nazareth many years ago.... while the guides and guards were not looking.... No; this is not a joke. It was forbidden to take anything from there.

We also have a second category relic which is a small branch off the particular pine tree upon which Mary appeared at The Pines in Garabandal. Of course, those are still available if one travels to Garabandal... assuming that the pines are still standing.

A tiny sample of each have been built into the crucifix we use during Mass. The rest are just stored.

Moral of the story: Legitimate relics have a place in practicing the faith, but never to be placed above the Absolute Reality of the Eucharistc Presence of Jesus or used as talismans.

What struck me Monday morning upon watching live coverage of the Las Vegas massacre, was a sign with huge letters that read "PRAY FOR LAS VEGAS!".

Considering the nickname this city has had for a long time -- Sin City -- I considered this to be quite significant.

“For the ways my work was used to divide people rather than bring us together, I ask forgiveness and I will work to do better.”

Comments: Mark Zuckerberg, a 'good' Jew, as most Christians are 'good' Christians - just pure and adulterated lip service.

If he were really sorry, he would shut Facebook down until it was completely changed and then launched it again. That is, of course, after donating to worthwhile charities the billions he has stolen by stealing his clients privacy. It looks liket he would make a good Francis-style Catholic.
