Have you ever wondered.... why Jesus kept telling His disciples things that He knew they could not understand?
Let us take a look at Luke 9:43-44 as just a typical example of such behavior:
Now, picture this particular scenario which will explain why He did it....
If He had never mentioned His upcoming Passion and Death, when it happened, His disciples would have concluded that - miracles or no miracles - Jesus was no more than another mortal with great charisma and with a measure of magical powers. For example:
However, having announced what was to come to His disciples well in advance....
....and not having avoided it - which He could have if He had been a mere mortal with a measure of magical powers - He was giving them the first confirmation that He was not just a mere mortal.
That first confirmation was sealed as an absolute truth when He appeared to them after His Resurrection since He had also told them that...
....which of course they did not understand either at the time when they heard Him say it.
And that is why Jesus kept telling His disciples things that He knew they could not understand at the moment.

Since the last Divine Encouragement and previous For Your Information and Reference post have been very heavy on theological matters, let us take a look at some socio-political issues.
The latest post on the Board reads as follows:

...which brings us to the Sunspot Solar Observatory closure and reopening. The amount of trash being published throughout the world regarding this matter is staggering. We know because we have set up a temporary worldwide net to pick up and report to us anything published about it. By just looking at the headline and the first two or three lines we can see how worthless the "news" and commentaries are.
After we published - in this particular forum - the question we asked their Corporate Communications Coordinator:
We have only seen one or two mentions to the fact that such official story holds no water, as the saying goes, while all other commentaries are essentially trash.... a trash that millions read and believe!
Of course, the truth is not known but it is precisely because of the lame official statement that it is obviously a serious matter.
With reference to the only... topic that could get the Russiagate off the headlines: The accusations directed by Mr. Kavanaugh by Dr. Ford....
Without even getting into what is the truth, the uproar has been such that, because of the mentality of the general public, the way that it is being handled will have serious negative implications for Republicans as well as Democrats since it has become a very high profile #MeToo issue.
Believe it or not, it has a solution that will have a minimum collateral damage and through which Democrats and Republicans will come out smelling like the proverbial rose. Actually, this solution would be enormously beneficial to the Republican Party.
Here it goes...
As the result of this enormous uproar in which Mr. Kavanaugh's reputation has been the most soiled, if he is approved for the Supreme Court, his every decision will be tainted by the shadow of the scandal and open to be criticized and ridiculed by Democrats and segments the general public on a regular basis.
In other words, regardless of what the truth is, a truth that cannot be confirmed with certainty at this point, he will be a highly ineffective Supreme Court Justice.
Therefore, using that logic, the Republicans can justifiably vote against his approval, Mr. Trump acting on the best interests of the Supreme Court and the Nation, Tweets his approval, the Democrats are happy, the Republicans "are clean" and the upcoming elections will be almost unaffected by this uproar.
The above is being composed before the committee vote and we will leave it as is when we publish it on the 29th regardless of the outcome of the vote on the 28th. After all, there still is the decisive vote on the Senate floor which may still be delayed considering what NBC reported on the afternoon of the 28th:

Have you heard that.... Facebook said that it found a security flaw in almost 50
million accounts that would allow hackers to take over people’s profiles?
The company in a blog post said that someone had used the vulnerability to attack its network,
although it did not know who was behind the attempt. (1)Comment: (sarcasm on) What? They do not know who was behind the attack? Obviously it was the pedophile janitor from the Sunspot Solar Observatory who, after all, turned out to be a Russian agent! (sarcasm off)
Now, in all seriousness - This is another reminder of the dangers to one's privacy in the the hi-tech era.

.....I had a friend who is very much of the mindset that “there is no salvation outside the RCC”. She became almost bullying in her manner of expression to me, and persisted, in spite of my protests, in sending me everything she could possibly find to make me think like her. I finally had to make the decision to sever all communication with her, simply because she was the cause of much added mental stress which I sure didn't need. She remains in my prayers. ....
...I am most grateful for the Mystical Parish Masses. They are a true Source of much needed peace of mind, tranquility of spirit, and consolation.

Regarding what we now call the "there is no salvation outside the RCC" syndrome....
There are two groups who exhibit said syndrome: (a) Those who are destined to hell and must fall for the final deception launched through the Vatican; and (b) The under Evangelized and/or brainwashed faithful who need to be helped
Those who fall under (b) category should be led to the following readings:
And John, answering, said: Master, we saw a certain man casting out devils in thy name, and we
forbade him, because he followeth not with us. And Jesus said to him: Forbid him not; for he that
is not against you, is for you. [Luke 9:49-50]
and
John answered him, saying: Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name, who followeth not
us, and we forbade him. But Jesus said: Do not forbid him. For there is no man that doth a miracle
in my name, and can soon speak ill of me. For he that is not against you, is for you.
[Mark 9:37-38]
The above should help the under Evangelized and/or brainwashed faithful to see the reality that there is Salvation outside the Roman Catholic Church, but NOT without Jesus Christ.
If the individual is still hesitant and claims that Jesus said:
That thou art Peter; and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not
prevail against it. [Matthew 16:18]
You may point out that: (i) there are two readings confirming that there is Salvation outside the RCC [Luke 9:49-50 and Mark 9:37-38 ]; but (ii) there is only one that could be interpreted as if Jesus will build His church upon the rock of Peter [Matthew 16:18] while in another Gospel - Mark 8:29-30 - where the same scene is being played out - Jesus does not say that "upon this rock I will build my church,... ".
Since we do not know who is Heaven or hell bound - thanks be to God! - what we must do is exactly what you did if they exhibit a fanatical attitude: disconnect from them and pray for them.

Could you please elaborate or revisit (perhaps refer me to earlier teachings) how to determine what constitutes an "OD Priest".

Actually your question needs to be clearly answered since we are sure that others may wonder about that definition too.
We define an "OD Priest" as: (a) one who is a member of the Priestly Society of the Holy Cross - an association of Catholic diocesan priests which is integrally united to the Prelature of Opus Dei; or (b) one who fully cooperates - actively or by default - with the Opus Dei agenda by word or deed or both.
An "OD Priest" is not one who lives his vocation as it should be lived and adheres to the fundamental teachings of the Catholic Faith - a faith which we do not tire of qualifying as the most complete Faith available to humanity.
On the surface they may appear the same but the Holy Spirit within your soul should clearly red flag for you which one is an "OD Priest".
A good exercise to have an excellent illustration of what we mean is to: Compare key events the life of St. John Bosco with that of Josemaría Escrivá. As we have said in the past: John Bosco is to Jesus Christ as Escrivá is to the False Christ.

As a member of the Mystical Parish I must say that it has helped me keep the whole armor of God on, and clean/shine it up daily.
Please know that I love my husband's family, but most of them are far removed from trying to live a Christian lifestyle, as are some relatives of mine.
I am around his family the most, as my aunts/uncles and cousins are all in other states. At the most recent family gathering, I did not feel as uncomfortable as I usually do. The negative talk, and nasty attitude of one person, did not penetrate me like it did in the past.
She has been so difficult at times, that I have been in tears. All these 24 years I must have been dealing with the behavior the wrong way. Now that I pray more for them, the comments seem to be bouncing off of me.
I really think the prayers with the Mystical Parish have made the most difference. Since I cannot avoid these situations, I try to be as upbeat as possible and positive, but now, I know to pray more and speak up for the Lord when the opportunity presents itself. Being persecuted for righteousness sake is real, but you already know that.
You told me recently that those who are among The Elect, will wake up, eventually. I'll take that to heart, and keep praying!

During Mass on Sunday, as our parish priest (1) gave yet another powerful homily, I found myself wondering how valid in God's Eyes are his Masses and those of other OD priests. I also wondered if an OD priest has to undergo an "initiation rite" during his ordination.
I remain very bothered by the reality of who he really is. It's one thing to be ignorant of the fact that one's pastor is an OD priest. It's quite another to have it confirmed that without a doubt, he really is.
Maybe I'm overreacting with this. And maybe you have addressed this before. If you have, I missed it and I do apologize for bringing it up again. This is just not leaving me alone.
I am very grateful for the Mystical Parish Masses officiated by you....

If I were a regular parishioner and the parish priest was this individual or any other Opus Dei priest, yet I knew what we now know, I would not participate in any Mass officiated by him. That would also apply in the case of any priest that lives in mortal sin, as the pedophiles and their protectors are.
Whomever serves Mammon cannot serve, nor act, in the Name of God.
Let us now meditate upon what Jesus taught us through Luke:
Just change "eaten and drunk" to "had communion" and "thou hast taught in our streets" to "learned from the homilies at those Masses".

Then, during the Eucharistic Prayer at the Mass, when we pray....
.....the Members of the Mystical Parish are also included in this Mass since miguel de Portugal was praying on the Members' behalf at the Prayer of the Faithful. This reality is further reinforced by the fact that each one of you was Mystically gathered before Him at the Prayer of the Faithful (see above invocations) as an act of your free will.
For this to take place it requires that the faithful is willing to spiritually participate in the daily Sacrifice of the Mass offered by miguel de Portugal wherever he may be at the time. That desire is to be transmitted to God through personal prayer while invoking the Communion of Saints.

Why are we sharing this with you when, just the other day, we stated that what we must focus on is to have "oil" available for our "lamps"?
We are doing it to again remind you how everything is being manipulated and controlled - except God, Thanks Be to Him!
In yesterday's Gospel.... Matthew 9:9-13 - we read about Jesus eating with many
tax collectors and sinners. As we all have heard many times, the Pharisees questioned such
practice and Jesus responded to them thus:
Considering that all of us - except Mary - are sinners by birth, there are no exceptions, thus He came for all of us. The key is that we must acknowledge our sinfulness before entering into the healing process set in motion by His Mercy.
If we do not acknowledge our sins - and do so by striving with all our heart and soul, not words, to avoid them - we cannot expect Mercy nor forgiveness... because we will not get them!
Let us look at it another way. If you are physically ill, an illness which requires medical treatment and you do not go to be treated, what will happen? We do not need Daniel to explain this one either, do we?
But just in case you may think that we are being too radical, allow us to remind what happened in this other Gospel scene:

We are surrounded by measuring devices to know the state of all that we think is important around us.
Thermometers, fuel/water tank gages, hydrometers, barometers, the level of world urgencies via the media, etc. We even have regular performance reviews at our places of employment as well taking note as to how other people react to us - in short and long term situations. Nonetheless, the most important condition/state that we must monitor - not should but must! - is our relationship with God. How close or distant we are from Him; how in tune or out of tune we are with Him.
Why is this of utmost importance? Because our quality of life in Time, and our future life, which is infinitely greater than the time we spend inside our human bodies, depend solely on it.
How can we be aware of it on a regular automatic basis? No, no.... Amazon does not have a "God Meter". However, if you have a moderate level of consciousness and awareness of your surroundings, read the Bible and/or partake of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, that is all that you may need to determine the depth of your relationship with God.
We will explain what we mean through easy examples, while reminding you that our average automatic reaction to physical and intellectual stimuli is the best reflection of who and what we really are.
Some of the texts encountered in yesterday's Mass were:
Entrance Antiphon: Lord, be true to Your covenant, forget not the life of Your poor ones for ever., etc.
In the Preface used we read: In love You created man, in justice you condemned him,...
Regarding the Entrance Antiphon - When we read it what comes to mind is: (a) How dare we tell God to be true to His covenant? We are the ones who repeatedly betray our covenant with Him - He Is always true to His Word. He does not need our reminder; and (b) How dare we even imply that God forgets any of His children? We are the ones who forget Him!
Regarding the Preface - God DOES NOT condemn us. God does not condemn anyone, it is our behavior in defiance to His Laws, Laws He established for our own benefit - not His! - that brings upon us the misery that we well deserve.
We encounter similar examples to the above implied insults to the God over and over again in the prayers and invocations composed and approved by those who claim to know Him and serve him - neither of which is true. If we had the time we would recompose the entire Roman Missal so that it would reflect the true and only God.
By the year 1993 we had stopped praying the Divine Office because, between the ill composed prayers and the Psalms, which contain many statements which do not reflect the real God, but a wrathful and hateful God, it had become traumatic to me.
In other situations.....
How do we react when faced with a criminal act? Do we focus on the severity of the punishment that the individual should receive or do we first think about what has driven that poor soul to behave like that? That does not mean that the individual should be absolved of his/her crimes - what it means is that we automatically see beyond the crime and into the spiritual wound that drove the individual to commit the crime.
How do we react towards those who reject God? Do we think "Let them burn in hell!" or do we automatically wonder what kind of spiritual trauma has caused them to become enemies of God?
In other words our automatic degree of sensitivity to the offenses directed to God - specially by those who should know better - and how our level of perfection compares with the level of Perfection of the Father as defined through Matthew 5....

Some say: "Fine, but considering that Amazon does not sell 'Fatherly Perfection' either, how can we achieve it?" To which we respond: "Glad you asked! Jesus also had all that worked out. The instructions could not be more straight forward:"
Seek ye therefore first the kingdom of God, and his justice, and all these things (that you
may need in Time) shall be added unto you. [Matthew 6:33]
As we seek the Kingdom of God, we draw closer to God and our level of "perfection as the Father is perfect" increases, which in turn draws us even closer to God, which in turn further increases our level of "perfection as the Father is perfect", which in turn .... etc.
Now the reader should know how to auto check his/her level of closeness to God and, with that knowledge in hand, act upon it to improve on it.
Of course, there is a detail that we should now, at the end of this impromptu homily, call to your attention:
But he that knew not, and did things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. And
unto whomsoever much is given, of him much shall be required: and to whom they have committed
much, of him they will demand the more. [Luke 12:48]
...and now you know how the system works.
We are sure that.... most of our readers are aware of the uproar surrounding the mysterious closure and evacuation of the Sunspot Solar Observatory by the FBI last week and its subsequent reopening this week.
We did not write about it because, as far as we are concerned, if it had been due to a doomsday scenario, by now we all should already have 'oil in our lamps' [Matthew 25]. Do not expect God to send a Tweet before "The Adjustment Bureau" swings into action.
As a matter of fact, allow us to remind the reader of the following one more time:

scheduled for our planet, we would not announce it. You

Yesterday I had an experience that triggered an automatic thought process which, if not checked, would have caused me to openly rejoice at the news of the impending death of the young son of a long time acquaintance. We feel compelled to share the situation with our readers in order to help each one to better understand God and His Goodness.
Background
I have known this lady for well over 8 years as the result of crossing paths on the streets and her sharing with us the problems they were having with this particular son. He was heavily into drugs and in a state that - if Divine Providence had not intervened - he would have killed his mother with a knife.
We recommended to her much prayer - explaining to her how it worked. We also prayed for him. Results began to be noticed very soon, he accepted entering into a treatment center, and stayed off drugs after leaving the center. He started to work and began, for the first time in his adult life, to lead a normal life.
Three years went by and the young man continued to be well. Every time I crossed paths with his mother - she was joyful and most grateful to God.
Current Details
Yesterday I came across her and she was almost unrecognizable. Upon asking what was the matter she informed me that her son had lung cancer. I proceeded to ask her for the details of the situation, prognosis, treatment, etc. She just blurted out: He just found out that he had it three weeks ago and it is terminal - he can barely walk now.
Divine Options
Most people would ask: "Why would God allow that, now that the young man was on the right road?" As his mother, in tears, complained to me: "Life is not fair!".
We know that life is fair and that God can only be Good. It is an impossibility for Him to be otherwise, so let us take a look a the Divine Process in this particular case.
(a) The young man was to die of cancer (for whatever reason - it could be genetic as in my son's illness). Dying during his drug laden life would have landed him in hell, and he obviously is not destined for hell.
(b) God arranged for our "on the street level" Spiritual Direction sessions so we could guide her to prayer and bring her son's soul back to the state it is required for his ultimate destination.
Fine, but why would God take him now?
(c) Since God can project our future choices depending on our future options - as we have illustrated elsewhere - He may have seen that somewhere along the line this young man would make a decision from which there was no reversal and which would cause him to die in a hell-bound state... something that should not happen.
Fine, but why can we pray for a miraculous healing - which would be granted by God if the request had not been made deferring to the Will of God?
(d) In that case, God would have kept him alive but in a handicapped state that would have prevented him from making the above mentioned decision from which there was no reversal and which would cause him to die in a hell-bound state... something that could not happen.
So, if you were God what would you do now? Exactly what God is doing - take him with a minimum of suffering before he will make a choice which would have rendered him hell bound - without remedy.
So, what should us mortals do about this young man and others in similar situations: Pray for his healing while fully deferring to the Will of God... followed by prayers so that, in case he still must go Home now, his brief suffering would minimal as long as the level required by the Will of God is fulfilled.
Blessedly, his parents suffering will be tempered by a level of Divine consolation once the process is understood.
I have seen this Divine consolation work many times, with the extreme case being that of a father who lost three sons in an auto accident. The boys were 14 year old twins and one 18 year old. Once he understood how God functions, his most understandable sadness was much bearable and his love for, and understanding of, God attained levels that he had never experienced before.
This is what Evangelization is all about!

What is the only purpose of life?

In the prior post of this page we addressed what appeared to be either a mistranslation or modification of certain words of Paul to the Corinthians. Specifically:
(a) Do you not know that the holy ones will judge the world?
and
(b) Do you not know that we will judge angels?
Less than an hour after publishing the above, while in prayer before the Blessed Sacrament, our Good Lord indicated to me what Paul meant/said and which was mistranslated or improperly interpreted by the copyist. The original messages from Paul are:
(a) Do you not know that the holy ones will judge the world?
and
(b) Do you not know that we will judge angels?
Still listening to Paul.... as he wrote to the Corinthians [1 Corinthians 7:25-31] and we read in yesterday's Mass....
Then he proceeds to list areas wherein he recommends the Corinthians not to change whatever status they are in at the time because "...of the present distress:..." and closes with the statement: "For the world in its present form is passing away".
This advise from Paul to the Corinthians has been used to discredit Paul and his writings because many claimed that he believed that the Tribulation and the Second Coming of Jesus was at hand - which was not.
Paul wrote the 1st Letter to the Corinthians on/or about 53–54 AD and he clearly stated that he had "...no commandment from the Lord....", to write it but that he was giving his... "....opinion as one who by the Lord's mercy is trustworthy."
So, why such recommendations and announcement that "...the world in its present form is passing away" ?
Dear brothers and sisters, Paul had one of those "feelings" that we speak about, and he was very right.
In less that 20 years - on 70 AD - the Romans destroyed Jerusalem and the Jews who escaped alive were scattered, thus, their "..world in its present form..." indeed passed away. So, Paul's recommendation based on a "feeling" was right on target and so continues to be our own recommendation now.

It never ceases to amaze me what the single or group denial of reality can do. Let us now use the denial of Jesus Christ as the Messiah as a most perfect example of mass denial - mos specially by Jews throughout history.
It is a basic Psychology 101 knowledge that humans, in general:
It is a concrete historical reality that Constantine "converted" to Christianity, making Christianity the official Imperial Religion, in an effort to save the Roman Empire from collapsing. Why? Because Christianity had spread far and wide and had become a social and spiritual force to contend with.
Now then, how could Christianity become a social and spiritual force of that magnitude considering that, to the man on the street, it had no physical benefits sought by most humans, while, at the same time, they were marginalized, persecuted, tortured and killed?
How could so many, and for so long, be blind to the reality that Jesus Christ - the corner stone and foundation of that religion - was someone well beyond human?
That in itself is enough physical confirmation that Jesus was/is indeed the Son of God and the only Messiah.... which brings us to our next puzzlement.
Being an overwhelming reality that Jesus is the Son of God and the only Messiah, we must then ask: Why do most - who call themselves Christians - do not strive to live His Word?
As a scientist by birth, and education, it seems to me that it is sheer insanity not to do so!
Amazing! Simply amazing is the level of denial!
Now, with all of that said: Can you now understand the tremendous hold that satan has on humanity?
That is why those who truly believe in God must pray for: Those who have no one praying for them and for those in most need of the Mercy of God - which are two of the intentions for which the merits of our Daily Masses are offered.

Seventeen years ago, right after the tragic events of September 11th, we published a document which had the following text as its background:

The First Reading of.... today's Mass was from the 1st Letter of Paul to the Corinthians [6:1-11]. In it we read that Paul says:

Whomever translated some the above text seems to have taken some liberties which contradict Jesus' crystal clear Words. However, one part is right on target even though it has not been applicable for over 1,600 years. That part is:
As just one example - View the above in the light of the ongoing (since 1995) sexual abuse crisis-scandal in the Roman Catholic Church. If those who claim to occupy the place of the Apostles - the Bishops - had done what Paul states above, the abuses would have been nipped at the bud instead of multiplying as a spiritual bubonic plague.
Since said successors of the Apostles are incapable of judging their own, then the civil courts, which seem to be more in line with Jesus by comparison, must take the appropriate action.
The other statements which reflect poor translations or very creative copyists are:
(a) Do you not know that the holy ones will judge the world?
(b) Do you not know that we will judge angels?
Now, regarding another and most important matter, in the beginning of the Gospel [Luke 6: 11-19] we read:
The above is one of those teachings that is mostly ignored for personal convenience.
If Jesus Christ, the Son of God and Second Person of the Most Holy Trinity had to pray that much, do you think Christians are praying enough? Of course not! They are not even praying a fraction of what they should!
How God remedies that? He allows the volume of His megaphone to increase to ear-splitting levels, then they will pray as the should have before calamity knocked at their door.
We should be ashamed of that disregard towards much needed prayer! Actually, we should be ashamed of so much more!
How many of you have sat down to ponder and meditate on the level of suffering Mary endured during the last 72 hours before Jesus expired on the cross. I cannot even meditate upon it very deeply because I collapse emotionally.
Just to get an idea.... place a son or daughter of yours (or one of your parents, if you do not have children) in Jesus' sandals and see how you feel as he/she agonizes hour after hour until he/she finally expires in full agony.
Why did that poor woman have to suffer the unspeakable? Because your and my sins.
And how can we console Her? Candles? Flowers? Yes, but only after striving to do just as She told me in so many words: Live the Gospel!

Two days ago, while reviewing some history, I came to realize what God did to communicate the alleged Evangelizers that the Bible was to be made available to those who could read it, and taught to those who could not.
What gave me the clue? The first work that Gutenberg produced after inventing the printing press in 1436 was the Bible. He printed 300 copies which contained 1,200 pages each. It was known as the Gutenberg Bible, the 42-line Bible, the Mazarin Bible or the B42.
Frankly, had I been there I would have taken that as an order from God to do, without further delay, what He had entrusted the original Apostles to do and had long been conveniently forgotten.
Finally, it was during the mid 19th century that the Roman Catholic Church, during the term of Pope Leo XIII (1), encouraged the faithful to read the Holy Texts. It took them 400 years to get the Divine hint!

We wish to make a few comments regarding the anonymous Op-Ed in the New York Times undermining the Trump Administration, while actually confirming the reality of a Deep State and/or Shadow Government.
The first thing we noticed was that this event is the exact equivalent to the eleven page anti Francis publication by the former Apostolic Nuncio to the U.S. That is - both are major moves to destabilize the Roman Catholic Church and the US government respectively. Also, both are key requirements by satan to launch his final attack for the manifestation of the False Christ.
Now... viewing the Op-Ed with the eyes of the world, eyes which are not able to see all that is behind these maneuvers, let us explore the possible consequences.
It is hard to imagine anything else that could emotionally destabilize the head of any organization more than a publication of this type. In this case "the organization" is the No. 1 world power and the "head" has to be the most volatile current head of state - short of the President of the Philippines. A perfect combination for tremendous negative consequences.
Obviously the move is to neutralize Mr. Trump and then remove him from office and open the way to continue the Globalization efforts. Mr. Trump is in the White House because God placed him there - as we have explained many, many times - to block the Globalization efforts which would lead to a situation where even the Elect would be lost.
Therefore, if this Op-Ed succeeds in neutralizing, and then removing Mr. Trump from the U.S. Presidency, the road would be clear for the Globalists to finish their work.
As we see it, that would leave only one option open to God, and that option is a Nuclear Apocalypse to ensure that none of the Elect be lost. Remember, we are speaking of loss in spiritual terms.
What does that mean?
Imagine that there are, for the purposes of illustration, 100 members of the Elect alive today. If God's "Trump in the White House option" would work, then, by the very End of These Times maybe only 50 members of the Elect died during the final upheavals and 50 would be alive for the post End of These Times restart - but all 100 would have been spiritually saved.
If man blocks God's "Trump in the White House option", Globalization would get a boost and the soul of the 100 Elect would be lost... and that cannot be; it is an impossible situation spiritually speaking. Remember, all of the Elect's names are in the Book of Life and they are already in Eternity, so not even one can be lost.
And whosoever was not found written in the book of life, was cast into the pool of fire.

Therefore, God would allow a situation wherein, say, 95 members of the Elect would

We began our Fall Bible Study this week. At the beginning I just hand out books and an outline of what we will cover.
This time I included The Homily that you recently published - and which was composed by a priest in Minnesota - with their materials. Myself and another member of the group read it aloud to the group. I told them I thought it was something that needed to be heard and discussed.
One of the members was very upset and said it was a lot of unloving rhetoric and that it was too passionate. She thought he was blaming the problem on homosexuals.
I pointed out the statement about taking a person with a drinking problem to a bar and that he acknowledged that these are crosses that people bear. That they should not be put in situations where it would be hard for them to control themselves. One member pointed out that Satan was behind all of this.
I also pointed that the priest asked that we not leave the church, to remember that our focus should be on Jesus Christ and to pray and fast. That does not sound unloving to me. I guess people hear things differently. Oh, well.

Yes, indeed "...people hear things differently." and they do so based on what they are programmed to hear.
Although we must have our eyes and ears open should there be something "out there" that God wants for us to see an hear, most humans do not do so. Whatever they may hear and see they automatically transform it so that it fits within their stored and symbolically 'well set in concrete' intellectual data base - thus no progress. As a matter of fact, their knowledge and awareness decreases with time. That is one of the teachings found in the following words that Jesus uttered:
For whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have,
even what they have will be taken from them. [Matthew 25:29]
The more knowledge or material goods that we may have - and utilize it for the Glory of God - the more wisdom and material goods God Will grants us. When we consistently use any knowledge or material goods that we may have in a manner contrary to the Will of God, He will not grant us any more and, the little that we have, He will see that we lose it.
Unfortunately the above reading has been used to justify self enriching at the expense of the poor instead of encouraging the Faithful to constructively use all that God gives us.
If the intention of.... the writer of the NYT Op-Ed was truly to serve the nation, he and his group would have continued their work without letting the object of their manipulation - Mr. Trump - know about it, as they did with the referred to Op-Ed.
Obviously that was not their intention. Their objective was and is to "launch" Mr. Trump as if he were a ICBM.

With eight months worth of Earthquakes greater than 5.0 in the Richter scale counted, the projected number of Earthquakes for the year 2018 has now increased by 10 % over what we had in the year 2017.
As a reminder of what we had in the year 2017: It was 2.5 times the average for the prior three years (2014, 2015 and 2016).
Another difference continues to be that we are seeing Earthquakes in locations that we have seldom seen in the past several years of monitoring.
For the first reading.... for today's Mass we have 1 Cor 3:18-23. The first few lines says it all:

It's a shame that most Christians ignore that very important lesson from Paul.
It brings to mind the efforts (1) of the highly venerated by the Roman Catholic Church - Augustine - to explain the Most Holy Trinity. He 'only' wrote fifteen books (2) trying to explain it.
Conversely, it took miguel de Portugal an instant to understand it as delivered to him by God and a page and a half (3) to explain it.
No; miguel is not blowing his horn. On the contrary!
What miguel is doing is illustrating what Paul said. There is no human intelligence who can understand - in an instant - the secret concept of the Holy Trinity and then explain it in a one and a half page text.
Nor can the feeble human intelligence of the wise explain How the Spiritual World Influences Our Behavior. That was another instantaneous gift from God to the world. miguel was just the middle man - the "gofer".

With one hand "they" are trying to send the Roman Catholic Church, with Francis in it, into an uncontrollable tail spin. With the other hand "they" are trying to push Trump over the edge with all the Apocalyptic consequences such behavior will entail.
We wonder how many are taking our warnings seriously and praying in an effort to reduce - not avoid, just reduce - the suffering that awaits humanity.

In Sunday's Gospel [Mark 7:1-8, 14-15, 21-23] we hear once again that being clean inside is more important than being clean outside. To wit:
When the Pharisees with some scribes who had come from Jerusalem gathered around Jesus, they
observed that some of his disciples ate their meals with unclean, that is, unwashed, hands. For
the Pharisees and, in fact, all Jews, do not eat without carefully washing their hands, keeping
the tradition of the elders....
..So the Pharisees and scribes questioned him, "Why do your disciples not follow the tradition of the elders but instead eat a meal with unclean hands?"....
He summoned the crowd again and said to them, "Hear me, all of you, and understand. Nothing that enters one from outside can defile that person; but the things that come out from within are what defile."

What you read above was completely misunderstood by the Church Fathers and other Church notables resulting in a filthy Europe where plague after plague killed millions upon millions (1) of people as the result of a totally unhygienic lifestyle.
Do you realize that in the silver chandeliers of the Hall of Mirrors in the Palace of Versailles (the Louis XIV France) they had crystal perfume containers near the candles to perfume the atmosphere and mask the stench emanating from the bejeweled courtiers when they gathered for a party? That if they had to relieve their bladders or bowels they found a nearby corner within the magnificent palace and do it there and then continue the festivities? I have witnessed those facilities in person and testify to them
The point that Jesus was making was that the scribes and Pharisees paid more attention to the tradition of the elders than to Divine Law. He was not recommending that they live in an unhygienic manner; He was illustrating that Divine Law was more important than any human tradition.
Even after suffering the many deadly plagues - which surely many Jews escaped (2) - it never occurred to them that personal hygiene was very important to one's health. They had the Romans and the Greeks to go by as examples - we only see one plague in Greece (1) taking place the Before Christian era.
Lord have Mercy!

Brethren, the more vision God gives me and the more details of history I learn, the harder it is to stomach the post Constantine Christianity. Blessedly I have learned to offer such disgust-caused suffering for the love of Jesus, in reparation for the outrages committed against the Heart of Mary and the conversion of sinners. I shudder to think how much sorrow that adulterated Christianity must have caused, and continue to cause, Jesus and Mary.
No wonder God has been sending Mary repeatedly since the first half of the 19th century to try to get Christianity back on its original track as explained by Jesus and lived up to by Christians up to the Constantine era.

Our new pastor, during his Sunday homily, spoke of the sexual abuse scandal in the Church. He spoke from the heart, expressing how very difficult and downright depressing it is for him as a priest, to have to face the reality of such terrible happenings.
His heartrending questions were: Why was it allowed to get to the point where it is now? Why wasn't something done about this years ago when the actual abuses took place? Why didn't the victims speak out? And when they did, why weren't they listened to?
His true emotions got the best of him and he simply burst into tears and sobbed his heart out. The congregation witnessed this in stunned silence.

Would you be so kind as to pray for him and for all other innocent priests/religious? On their behalf, I thank you.

A. Our concern right now is that he obviously does not have those answers nor knows what is behind that scandal - thus still in the dark. Not a good sign. He needs much prayer.
You may want to share with him a homily delivered at St. Raphael Church which we have just made into a Guest Document. It may be accessed through This Link .
In that homily he will only find the mechanism used by satan to make it happen because the real reason - which is not exposed in the homily - is to destroy the Faith so that he can then come to "save" it and the world. Such information may bring him up to speed before "the system" swallows him.
Regarding: "Would you be so kind as to pray for him and for all other innocent priests/religious" - We do that on a regular basis for all who are in his same situation or are completely lost, yet are counted among the Elect.

You may have noticed that sometimes we invite our readers to pray for the Elect and sometimes to pray for all.
In case this difference may have puzzled any of you, we shall explain the reason behind it.
When we pray for all we do so within the Time Frame of Reference and in line with what Jesus taught us:
That you may be the children of your Father who is in heaven, who maketh his sun to
rise upon the good, and bad, and raineth upon the just and the unjust.

All - even those destined to hell - must have an equal opportunity to the Redemption Gift so that, at the time of the Final Judgment they cannot say that they were not given an equal opportunity to Salvation as those destined to Heaven had. That is Perfect Divine Justice.
Now, when we pray just for the Elect we are using the Eternal Frame of Reference. We are praying for those who are destined to Heaven in order to minimize the volume of God's Megaphone as He tries to keep them in the straight and narrow path that leads to the Kingdom of God.

Comments: That explains the sudden drop of the Chinese traffic through our pages. Just last year the traffic form China accounted for the most visits to our pages, with the US being in second place. Then, it started to drop. The last two months the drop has accelerated and now China visitors are only one fifth of the visitors from the US.
I guess that we are in good company, as the saying goes, if one consider the other of victims of China's vast censorship apparatus: The New York Times, Bloomberg, The Wall Street Journal and CNN TV broadcasts.

Your recent publications and commentaries (1)(2) when viewed against the
backdrop of world events confirm, once again, that:
1. you are on target;
2. the world is simmering, about to boil;
3. scriptures must be fulfilled;
From a technical standpoint, we are in the lull or consolidation phase, just before a big
move. All the components are there and you expect it to move, but it does not.
Amateurs (like myself) think that we are wrong and often go in the wrong direction. Pros know that you have to be patient for things will explode, and when they do, they will continue in that direction, relentlessly.
We are going to see a quantum jump.

The reason that technical analysis works is because it mirrors human behavior which has not
changed since the beginning of man. As you have stated, "In the absence of Divine Graces,
man responds according to his fallen nature."
My birthday is in the middle of October. From my perspective, I cannot remember too many
good things happening in that month, or near my birthday. In fact, I would say that October

What we are conveying is that the "latest chapter" is being staged and choreagraphed to continue to bring down, before the eyes of the world, the RCC as is.
Remember, for the Opus Dei to stage the Falsification of the Second Coming of Christ the: (a) Roman Catholic Church has to be publicly smeared and morally destroyed; and (b) The world must be at the brink of complete chaos. We state "complete chaos" because it is already in a state of chaos even though most of the people in the First World Countries have no idea about the real state the rest of the world is in.
Continue to pray for the Guidance of the Holy Spirit of God because, we assure you, without it most will be ensnared....

...it would please me very much to be included among those receiving messages directed to your "Very Select List"...
...as I struggle (1) with certain "desires of the flesh" notably the pleasure I derive from certain limited expressions of crossdressing... desires that seem to be not satisfied with "just a little" but which exert never ending offers of pleasure amid suggestion to push those boundaries I set for myself just "a little further" and yet a little further still...
....but, even though I enjoy the pleasures of the moment, as it were, I am also aware of a sense of unsavoriness afterwards.... I infer these regrets to be the whispers of the Holy Spirit appealing to me to hang on (2)(3) to my sense of spirit over flesh "yet a little while ".
..your web site and its contents are a reminder that within me exists a divine nature... a receiving station for the appeals of the Holy Spirit to that "better nature"...
...you are my first destination each morning when I set my compass for the day and I value your place in my life more than I can express to you in this world...

Joseph Muzquiz canonized.
Father Muzquiz was born in Spain in 1912, and served for a time in the Nationalist (Franco) army toward the end of the Spanish Civil War. He was ordained in 1944, and had been part of Opus Dei starting in 1941.
Muzquiz was critical in bringing Opus Dei to the US from Spain, and worked in Boston for many years.
