to Ponder About
January - May 2005
PURPOSE
The purpose of Points to Ponder About is to stimulate
thinking that would draw the disoriented Faithful back to God (1)
and away from the hypocritical duplicity of some religious institutions
which are destroying the little faith left on earth (2)(3).
The instructions are simple: Just invoke the illumination of the
Holy Spirit of God while you ponder upon any of these Points to
Ponder and let God guide you to Light. We know that some
make-believe religious leaders will say: "What about satan
interfering and leading the soul astray?" To those... we invoke Our
Lord's Words again:
"...Get thee behind me, Satan: thou
art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of
God, but those that be of men." [Matthew 16:23]
and further
"And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall
be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened
unto you. For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh
findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. If a son shall
ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or
if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent? Or if he shall
ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? If ye then, being evil,
know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more
shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?
[Luke 11:9-13]
and finally
"But woe unto you, scribes and
Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against
men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are
entering to go in." [Matthew 23:13]

What we wonder about is....
Why we have not been flooded by
reports on Mrs. Bush's unfortunate
sense of humor, considering that every time Mrs. Clinton even had
acid indigestion, it was pointed out to us ? We like to remind one and
all of the covenant we renew (and will be judged by) every time we pray
the Our Father.

Do you ever wonder... why people
choose to deny the undeniable?
Because "Knowledge" is not only
"Power" but it is also "Responsibility" . Unfortunately for many, "looking the other
way" or "hoping that it goes away" will not, we repeat, will not
be acceptable by God as a reason for inaction and/or disobedience to the entreats of God, through the Virgin Mary, to
come back to the Gospel.

Do you ever wonder... Why people
choose to believe "facts" as these:
"Referring to the secret -- which
was granted to two seers in that Portuguese hamlet in 1917 and which
involved an image of an angel set to torch the world (as well as a
"bishop in white," who, it was prophesied, would be gunned down) --
Pope Benedict indicated that both the sparing of John Paul II's life on
May 13, 1981 and the events involving Russia (preventing a nuclear
holocaust) demonstrated the power of intercession."
As it has been published by others when the
reality painfully shows otherwise? No even the number of seers is
right! There were three and not two!
This, brethren, is what the Sin of Denial
does to people. They believe anything, as long as they feel comfortable
and secure with it. So did the five virgins that did not have any oil
for their lamps....
At another time we shall explain the difference between "the
sparing of John Paul II's life on May 13, 1981" and "getting
John Paul II's attention on May 13, 1981". There is a world of
difference!

Do you ever wonder... Why, with the
apparent rebirth of Christianity the world continues to slip faster and
faster into a bottomless pit?
We read in a newsletter published by the Population Research Institute,
in an article about "Time to Win in the Judiciary" and authored by
Joseph A. D'Agostino that:
This seemingly arcane debate about
Senate procedure has become white-hot. Why should pro-life, pro-family
citizens in Middle America care? The simple reality: The only practical
way of restoring democratic rule on the issue of abortion, and thus the
possibility of legal protection for unborn children, is by getting good
judges on the federal bench, particularly the U.S. Supreme Court. It's
also the only practical way to prevent "rights" to euthanasia and to
same-sex "marriage" from being magically discovered in the Constitution
and imposed on America.
As the reader may see, these
"Christians" continue to give priority to activism and political power
play and not to the only "activity" that will restore true Faith and
true Morals - Prayer and Acts of Reparation.
Did Jesus teach His people, back when He walked amongst men, to change
the system through political activism and
power play? He did not nor will He ever do so. This is why the
Evangelization has been a complete failure... yet man continues to blindly follow other
fallen men and not Jesus.
As German Chancellor, Konrad Adenauer said: The good Lord seems to
have set definite limits on man's wisdom but sets no limits on his
stupidity. To which we add, "...and his inability to learn from
past mistakes."

Do you ever wonder... Why, according to the published Roman Catholic
statistics (*):
(a) In unconfortable Africa,
with 13.2 % of the Bishops of the world, there are 4,565 Catholics
per
priest available; while
(b) In comfortable Europe, with 33.0 % of the Bishops of the
world, there are 1,347 Catholics
per priest available; and
(c) In the most devout Catholic part of the world ( Latin
America), with 25.5 % of the Bishops of the world, and where people are
leaving the True Faith en masse to join anyone who may offer them some
"tangible spirituality", there are 7,080 Catholics
per
available priest?
No, this is not another Mystery of the
Faith. This is just another example of the true priorities of the
Church Administration.

Do you ever wonder... Why the people mobbed H.H. John Paul II, St.
Peter's Square, Benedict XVI and any Cardinal that may casually wander
into unprotected areas of The Vatican all the while the Tabernacles -
whether in The Vatican, Rome or any other city in the world remain
almost alone?
Possible Answer No. 1 : Precious few really believe in the
Eucharistic Presence of Jesus although they "go through the motions" in
Mass just to be "seen" and to be "in".
Possible Answer No. 2: They are like those Moses left in charge
of Aaron - Golden Calf adorers.... [Exodus 32: 1-28]
which, of course, reverts right back to Possible Answer No. 1 as being
the correct one.
If the true Foundation of the Faith
were to be God, we would not see what we see - everywhere! - nor the
world would be in the condition it is in today.
satan's roaring laughter could almost be
heard if it were not for the roar of the flames and the scream of the
souls that fill hell.

Do you ever wonder... Why the "Bad" are not even "Good at being bad"?
On an Alitalia Flight from Rome to Madrid, one of the passengers was
the very high profiled Cardinal Rouco Varela, Archbishop of Madrid and
former Head of the Spanish Episcopal Congregation. He was accompanied
by his assistant. He was pre boarded into the airplane before the stare
of the rest of the passengers. Every passenger who boarded that
completely sold out flight filed past the Cardinal and his assistant
sitting in the First/Business (*) Class Section.
Assuming that Alitalia gave the seats for free (which was not the case)
and/or that he needed some rest from the people who would have been
bombarding him with questions (which we do understand) if he had flown
on Coach, he should have boarded the plane last and deplaned first.
The way it was done he succeeded in reinforcing the negative view most
Spaniards have of the clergy and the Church at large.
Wonder no more..... This is what arrogance does: It blinds people to
the most obvious mistakes and thus they themselves contribute to their
own downfall.

Do you ever wonder... Why you so many prayers seem to go unanswered or
seem to have been answered in the "wrong" manner?
Having the "toll free telephone number of Heaven" is not sufficient -
one must know how to dial it.

Do you ever wonder... Why you see - through the
Media - so many youths at functions hosted by H.H. John Paul II,
even posthumously, and every day one sees less and less young people in
Roman Catholic Churches living their faith and partaking of the Holy
Sacraments?

Easter Sunday
Do you ever wonder... Why if Jesus, by example, rested in His tomb on
the Sabbath to later rise on Sunday to continue to work at the Right
Hand of the Father, Christianity chose Sunday as the day of rest?
Would it not have been more theo-logical to keep the Sabbath as the day
of rest, while focusing our attention in God and His Goodness, and then
celebrate on Sunday - in whichever way the Spirit of God moved us - our
deliverance from death?

Do you ever wonder... Why if the characteristics of true Christians are
Love, Mercy, Compassion, Selflessness, Humility, etc. - the
Administrators of the major Christian Churches - Roman Catholic (Church
of the Western Empire) and Orthodox Catholic (Church of the Eastern
Empire) - cannot even agree on a date to celebrate the Resurrection of
the One they claim to, but seldom do, serve?
Because the foundation of their faith has shifted
to man and not God as it was originally
intended.

Do you ever wonder... Why, if The
Vatican boasts about the impressive number of Roman Catholics in the
world - approximately 1,000 million - eight million people die each
year because they are too poor to stay alive?

It is because many, many of these truly fine Christians do not have,
and have not had for centuries, an effective leadership. Look at the
world today! Does it reflect an effective Evangelization or the well
established Dominion of satan?
If the Roman Catholic Church Administration makes a mockery of
everything that our Lord Jesus Christ taught, except, of course, those
teachings that can become financially profitable to exploit - how can
the faithful take them seriously? Do you woodier why the youth of the
world continues to sink in sin and depravation? It is not their fault;
it is ours!
What went wrong? It certainly was not
God!
The Faithful cannot allow the centuries long criminal record of the
Church Administration to tarnish
the
Pristine Catholic Faith. You must
place
your Faith in God and,
with Him,
not with some
accommodated Cardinal,
you can then change the world!
God needs His children and has
repeatedly used
the Ever-Virgin Mary to seek this help. Please, do not let Them
down!... and do not forget to pray for the handful of upright and truly
God loving members of the Roman Catholic Hierarchy and clergy -
they need and deserve everyone's prayers.

Do you ever wonder... Why the leader
(M. Gorbachev) of a falling empire, who just barely survived a coup and
has been imprisoned by his enemies,
once freed, sits down and write a 127 page book about it ....and does
it so fast that it is edited, printed, and released within 40 days of
the coup?

Do you ever wonder... Why, after a
concerted and confirmed effort by
European
governments,
U.S. and Roman Catholic leaders
to remove/neutralize/disarm communist regimes Fidel Castro is still
"thumbing his nose" to the U.S. from barely 90 miles away?
It has not been a secret since 1992 that
the
alleged Cuban Missile Crisis was a staged event - a staged event
that even Castro believed and, in reality, had to watch from the
sidelines like anyone else.
If one stops and really think about it - it does not make sense, does
it....? Unless, of course

Do you ever wonder... Why we ask the
Father, in the "Our Father", "...not lead us into temptation..." when
the only one that tempts is satan?
Because... it is wrong in certain translations - English being one of
them. It is correct in Portuguese, Spanish and some other languages.
It seems that our "Oh, so great Theologians" have missed it or they did
not want to "rock the boat". Maybe they thought it was better to accuse
the Father of being a tempter than to acknowledge yet another mistake.
God tests us - and we should be eternally grateful to Him for that! But
tempt us? Never!
Therefore, that part of Our Father in English should be changed to
"...do not let us fall prey to temptation..."

Do you ever wonder... Why Mary is
called Ever (before, during and after The Birth) Virgin? Because She Is!
(a) Before: She was reserved
from before Her own birth to be the Spouse of the Holy Spirit.
(b) After: To have had marital relations with dearest Joseph
would have been tantamount of committing adultery against Her Spouse -
the Holy Spirit. Can you imagine? A case of adultery involving the
Daughter, Mother and Spouse of God? It is something that does not even
enter the realm of consideration.
(c) During: Well, that is for us to know for a fact, and for you
to find out after you cross the veil. In the meantime - believe it as
an Act of Faith!
As an act of fraternal love, we
recommend to one and all - Christians and not Christians alike: Do not
ever "short change" Mary
for behind
Her stands the Most Holy Trinity, Whose existence
does not
depend on whether one believes it or not and
to
Whom all creatures are accountable to
without exception -
satan included!
Just do not fall for another "apple story" (as Eve did).

Do you ever wonder... Why, if the Holy
Spirit of God, in effect, came upon the whole of mankind (1)
at Pentecost, only the Roman Pontiff can claim such Illumination and
demand the blind obedience of the rest of the Christian Faithful?
But then again, how else could the masses be controlled and manipulated?

(1) Came upon those who were in the Upper Room at the
time and, consequently, upon all Christians who are baptized
thereafter. Which brings up another question - if the Holy Spirit of
God is "the sole property" of Christians, how
come the Muslims have given such prominence to Mary - to the point
of officially ascribing Her the Immaculate Conception status much
earlier than Christians ever dreamt of doing so? Would satan do that?

Do you ever wonder... Why, if the
Roman Pontiff, the Pope, is chosen by the Holy Spirit during the
Conclave - as it should - the Church "politicians" are so worried about
who will the next Pope be? If the Holy Spirit of God is indeed allowed
to guide the Church Administration through the Successor of Peter, then
it should not matter which of the eligible men is chosen Pope. A
true and effective servant of God is essentially devoid of "self" so
that God can fully work through him.
But then again...

Do you ever wonder... If the First and
Second Resurrections have not taken place yet [Revelations
20:4-6] , exactly who is in Heaven listening to your
prayers besides God, Mary and the Nine Choirs of Angels. Humanly
speaking no Saints could be there yet... or could they?
The truth is that: Yes, neither resurrection has taken place yet;
NONETHELESS, there are many in Heaven besides God, Mary and the Nine
Choirs of Angels. If you want to know how that is possible, ask!

Isn't it amazing that in spite of one
of the Ten Commandments being
"Thou shalt not kill" and after
God having set forth a terrible condemnation for anyone who would
dispense the judgment of death upon another human being, even for a
murder
[Genesis 4:10-15](1), yet, people who
claim to be of God (many Jews, Christians and Muslims alike) dispense
the Death Penalty without much ado?

We conveniently blame satan for
everything wrong that we do because of our fallen nature and propensity
to sin due to the original sin inherited from Adam and Eve.
Considering that before falling prey to satan's snare Adam and Eve had
to be immaculate (free of original sin) how come they betrayed God?

Yes, satan tempted them but, in their "immaculateness", they still
committed a most grievous sin - they wanted to be like God!
