Some important New Testament passages
ignored throughout the History of Christianity
Do you ever wonder... when the following passages seem to have been
added to the Gospel of Luke, ch. 9?
46
And there entered a thought into them, which of them should be greater.
47 But Jesus seeing the thoughts of their heart, took a child and set
him by him, 48 And said to them: Whosoever shall receive this child in
my name, receiveth me; and whosoever shall receive me, receiveth him
that sent me. For he that is the lesser among you all, he is the
greater.
and....
49
And John, answering, said: Master, we saw a certain man casting out
devils in thy name, and we forbade him, because he followeth not with
us. 50 And Jesus said to him: Forbid him not; for he that is not
against you, is for you.
and...
51
And it came to pass, when the days of his assumption were
accomplishing, that he steadfastly set his face to go to Jerusalem. 52
And he sent messengers before his face; and going, they entered into a
city of the Samaritans, to prepare for him. 53 And they received him
not, because his face was of one going to Jerusalem. 54 And when his
disciples James and John had seen this, they said: Lord, wilt thou that
we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them? 55 And
turning, he rebuked them, saying: You know not of what spirit you are.
Anyone who would objectively study the history of Christianity, and
Catholicism in particular, would
have to assume that they were introduced during the much
maligned (2)
Second Vatican Council.
Why, we ask in God's Name, such fundamental truths (and many others)
were trampled over for about 1600 years causing the complete failure of the
Evangelization Jesus Christ entrusted the Church which claims to
represent Him?
Simply because most of said Evangelizers never believed the Word of
God. They just used the Word of God to exploit and control the masses.
Do not ever forget the above so that you may understand the "Why?" of
what He will allow upon the alleged Evangelizers. (2)

Contaminants in water - overseen by
political leaders
Do you ever wonder... how cheap
talk really is - as to when we refer to the world's leaders "Cheap
Talk"?
This should serve as a perfect example of how cheap the talk of our leaders
really is:
Over
the last decade, the drinking water at thousands of schools across the
country has been found to contain unsafe levels of lead, pesticides and
dozens of other toxins.
An Associated Press investigation
found that contaminants have surfaced at public and private schools in
all 50 states — in small towns and inner cities alike.
But the problem has gone largely
unmonitored by the federal government, even as the number of water
safety violations has multiplied.
"It's an outrage," said Marc Edwards,
an engineer at Virginia Tech who has been honored for his work on water
quality. "If a landlord doesn't tell a tenant about lead paint in an
apartment, he can go to jail. But we have no system to make people
follow the rules to keep school children safe?" (1)
Let us see how long it is before they "hang this one" on Al Qaeda.....

Jesus, who was taken up from you into
heaven, will come back in the same way
Do you ever wonder... where, if anywhere, in the Holy Scriptures the
children of God are told how to recognize the true Second Coming of
Jesus?
In case you did, here is the answer:
Douay-Rheims
Version: 7 But he said to
them: It is not for you to know the times or moments, which the Father
hath put in his own power: 8 But you shall receive the power of the
Holy Ghost coming upon you, and you shall be witnesses unto me in
Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and Samaria, and even to the uttermost
part of the earth. 9 And when he had said these things, while they
looked on, he was raised up: and a cloud received him out of their
sight. 10 And while they were beholding him going up to heaven, behold
two men stood by them in white garments.
11 Who also said: Ye men of Galilee,
why stand you looking up to heaven? This Jesus who is taken up from
you into heaven, shall so come,
as you have seen him going into heaven. [Acts 1]
New International Version: 7 He said to them: "It is not for you to
know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority. 8 But
you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will
be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the
ends of the earth." 9 After
he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid
him from their sight.
10 They were looking intently up into
the sky as he was going, when suddenly two men dressed in white stood
beside them. 11 "Men of Galilee," they said, "why do you stand here
looking into the sky? This
same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you
have seen him go into heaven." [Acts 1]
Rest assured - God "has covered all the bases" to prevent His children
from deception; now, the proverbial ball is in His children's court.

Christians of pre-Constantinian vs.
post-Constantinian Church - the difference
Do you ever wonder... what was the defining difference between
most of the Christians of the pre-Constantinian Church and those of the
post-Constantinian Church?
Pre-Constantinian Christianity was composed of those who truly believed
that Jesus Christ was indeed the Son of God, the Messiah and the Savior
of Mankind... and they would die for that.... by the thousands.
The post-Constantinian Church (1)
was made up of those who just wanted to be part of "the
in group". Christianity had been made the Approved Religion of the
Empire - everyone wanted to be in the proverbial band-wagon and few
would dare to oppose the religion chosen by the Emperor.
The ratio is even smaller today. Precious few will be willing to die
for upholding and living the Christian Faith. (2)

the Imperial Faith
(2) This IS NOT to be
compared with the fanaticism of Islamic terrorists; it IS to be
compared with the martyrdom of Stephen [Acts of the Apostles, Ch.7]

The giants spoken of in the Holy
Scriptures
Do you wonder... if it has been proven that those giants spoken
of in the Holy
Scriptures (1)
ever existed?
Well, we did not know of any physical/historical proof until a week ago
when we read (2)
[underscoring by The M+G+R Foundation]:
From
a very large African lake basin, which is providing information about
possible migration routes and hunting practices of early humans in the
Middle and Late Stone Age periods, between 150,000 and 10,000 years
ago, four giant stone hand axes, measuring over
30 cm long and of uncertain
age, were recovered.
Such discovery should give us pause for thought (and more prayer!)

Why many Catholic have the tendencies
to "chase" Marian Apparitions
Do you wonder... why many Catholic have the tendencies to "chase"
Marian Apparitions, the alleged messages, their validity and level of
approval or disapproval by the Vatican?
The anthropological - and certainly valid - answer is: Natural human
curiosity.
The theological - and certainly valid - answer: They feel that
they have been deceived many times (1) by "the Church", thus
feel insecure, because, subconsciously, they believe more in "the
Church" than in the Word of God as manifested in Jesus Christ, and
would like to know what to do. (2)

(2) We have published
that information over

Using junk science to prove that this
or that person is the anti-Christ
Do you wonder... about the validity of a video clip being circulated
wherein a Pastor explains - using a very complicated and creative
linguistic logic - that Jesus gave us the name of the anti-Christ as
Barack Obama?
Our off-the-cuff personal
response to a
family member:
The same could be done with just about
anything in the
Bible and ancient languages and a mind with an agenda. What those
individuals should do instead of wasting time with such
derivations is start praying - there is absolutely nothing else
left to do.
A professional (albeit
conceptually the same) response from a Linguist
graduate from UCSB:
Junk science – A complete misuse of the
discipline of historical linguistics, comparing modern and old
languages, and making insupportable comparisons between Greek, Hebrew,
and Aramaic. Jesus didn't write Luke, Luke did – a physician
that spoke a fairly modern Greek. There is little or no poetic language
in the New Testament from the Golden Age of Israel (Isaiah). Most early
Christians couldn't read Hebrew and used the Septuagint, a Greek
translation of the Old Testament. Jesus probably also used the
Septuagint rather than the Hebrew Torah.
We thank those who alerted us to said video clip.
