Q.  Thank you for all that you do for us.  Since it is so obvious that the world is moving toward the fulfillment of prophecy, I for one, am most concerned about living in God's will.  What we should be doing now and in the days ahead is of most importance to me; I do not need the political commentary to convince me that things are getting worse, leading up to catastrophe.

Aside from praying for conversion of sinners, and offering up daily prayer and eucharist in reparation for sin, I am most concerned about what I can / should be doing to save others.  This message, as you well know, is not one that others want to hear, so I have backed off and limit my action to prayer.

Q.  From what I understand you are saying, it seems that future events that would normally take anywhere from 25 to 150 years to evolve in the world such as the One World Government, One Universal Religion, the Anti Christ, the False Christ, etc., are going to be wrapped up very quickly. Do I understand you correctly?

A.  Yes, that is correct.

God gave the world a last minute extension of ten years (of which He informed miguel de Portugal in advance). Miguel has not been informed by God of any other extension; as a matter of fact, in a recent prophetic dream, it was all confirmed. Including on how quickly all will be "wrapped up".

Remember that prophecy can be fulfilled in symbolic ways - just review the Prophecies about the First Coming of Christ and you will see how many times God used "Poetic License" in having a particular prophecy fulfilled. This time it will not be any different, most specially since some folks at the Vatican thought that they could manipulate God.

Although the last chapter of False Dawn is lengthy, God can fulfill it in very short notice.

A. [ NOTE:  This question was posed to miguel de Portugal at a prayer meeting by one of his extended family member in Portugal. She is a devoted and prayerful lady and quite familiar with Fátima - a frequent destination for her on a yearly basis.]

Once again, a golden opportunity to promote the requests of our Lady of Fátima and the tremendous importance of Her manifestations in Fátima was wasted - instead, a great Lucía-centered circus was staged. Even though, through the criminal negligence of  of the Roman Catholic Church Administration, Her time-sesitive requests to them was not met, the messages to the laity - prayer, reparation and sacrifice - is even more necessary today than it was in 1917.

Instead, the message conveyed to the Catholic Church (East and West) by God through the Prophet Mohammed,  the same message that miguel de Portugal continues to convey to the world - starting with the Vatican, continues to be ignored. To wit:

Q.  On Advent Sunday we were given a DIFFERENT TYPE of Host. It was very white, thicker, and a little larger in diameter. It did  not dissolve, chewing was necessary.
 
They also instituted a large deep dish instead of the Paten. Pope John Paul II stated that no priest should use a suspect host, he also described the recipe as Wheaten Flour and Water only.
 
My Question  --- Why the ambiguity !
A.  In reality the only requirement for the communion bread is that it is unleavened. The bread evolved into the host form for convenience. Easier to handle and distribute; no crumbs falling on the ground, etc. The Orthodox Church, continues to use bread and not hosts but, in the manner that it is handled and the way in which communion is given, there is very little danger of desecrating the Body of Christ.

The use of a dish instead of the Paten comes from the desire to bring the participants more in union with the priest in the Mass. The dish contains the smaller hosts (particles) which are distributed amongst the communicants, as well as the large host. This is somewhat a relief to us since in many cases - far too many, as a matter of fact - the priest only consecrates his host and the particles given to the congregation are not more just plain bread.

Q.  I had a kidney stone procedure in 2003. I went to the hospital the day of my surgery and was admitted and prepared for the surgery for which I was anesthetized..
 
...as I was administered the IV that would carry me to "sleep" I felt a Presence and a sense of comfort and anticipation all around me..  I do recall a happy anticipation that if I was to die today I was happy and prepared..
 
Today, I look back and think that that may have been a pre-glimpse of my "moment" and I am blessed and grateful to My Jesus for the "comfort of the insight" I felt that day.
A.  The "key" to know the state of one's soul is to feel ready and joyful to leave at any minute - any instant - yet not to be in any hurry whatsoever. A.  We stated  "We thank you for writing and consider the case closed." - and that case is closed; however, what you bring up is something totally different which certainly needs attention for the benefit of all the faithful.  We shall take it in stages.

Stage No. 1

We indeed state: "Using the God centered Frame of Reference, it becomes quite obvious that there are more commonplace offenses, such as stiff-necked impenitence and lack of charity, which are far worse than those associated with homosexual behavior."

"Commonplace" is not meant to be a synonym to "venial" nor "equal to". We regret if this has caused confusion but we believe the word was used in accordance to its accepted meaning: Having no remarkable features, characteristics, or traits; ordinary.

"Stiff-necked impenitence" is far more commonplace than active homosexual sexual behavior. Stop by at any Mass - whether in Rome, Lisbon, Vienna, Czetochowa or Tin-Buck-Two, USA, and you will see the long line of  church goers (notice - we have not said "faithful" but "church goers") lining up for communion but you seldom see anyone at the confessional.  Either we have rampant "stiff-necked impenitence" or the  Immaculate Conception of Mary "symptoms" are spreading faster than any pandemic known to man. Hypocrites!

We quoted: "And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted unto heaven, shalt be brought down to hell; for if the mighty works, which have been done in thee, had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day. But I say unto you, That it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment, than for thee." [S. Matthew 11:23-24]

One connection we inferred with one and the other is: Mary is "blue in the face" calling us back to holiness aided by the Sacraments, basically stating: "Just what part of the Gospel don't you get after 2000 years and after nearly 200 years of My visiting?" and we, with the Church Administration and far too many priests at the head of the line, continue with our "stiff-necked impenitence" which can be translated to "self righteousness" while pointing our collective finger to whichever scapegoat sin seems more popular at the time.

It is the same situation with Abortion vs Sex Abuse of children about which we have also written. The attitude is "Let's point the finger to abortionists and make a lot of noise.... and folks may just will not notice that the Bishop so and so and Cardinal so and so are covering up for pedophiles who cause untold harm to the souls entrusted to them."

What such self righteousness and stiff-necked impenitence does is to make matters worse and drive the one who may need help further away from God. What should we expect? Self righteousness and stiff-necked impenitence are the devil's fruits.

As we have written elsewhere, we had to shut down a weekly hour of adoration of the Exposed Blessed Sacrament, with the intention of ending abortion by the conversion of abortionists and those seeking them, due to lack of attendance. However, the carnival like atmosphere of the demonstrations in front of abortion clinics continued to grow.... and so the number of abortions.

The same with the homosexuality issue. The more it is demonized by the hypocritical and two faced self righteous and the stiff-necked impenitent, the more they over react to the point of those Gay Pride Parades which harm their cause more than anything else. Who wins? satan, of course, by working both sides into self destructive modes.

Stage No. 2

Mortal sin, venial sin, etc. How Roman! They try to count sins as if they were the riches that they have accumulated for centuries.  The same that was done with partial indulgences - breaking the indulgences down into "day units" so that money could be secured from all - poor and rich alike - by selling them. It reminds us of the Time Share scam that raged in the US in the 80's and 90's.

We have defined sin in the referenced document as:  An offense to God which constitutes any act by which a human being rejects the loving care of his Creator by: (a) Willfully ignoring the laws He lovingly set for the well being of His creatures; or (b) Willfully offending Him for the sake of offending Him out of malicious rebellion. The consequences of sin are always tempered by the Mercy of God.

Any venial sin is a potential gateway to a mortal sin. One may start with the proverbial "little white lie" and before you know it we have a Watergate or turn a country (Iraq) into a living hell or make the greatest nation on earth the laughing stock of the rest of the world because they fail to see what the Lewinski affair had to do with anything; or turn erstwhile trustworthy names such as ENRON and MCI into "cuss words" for those who lost their retirement funds because of someone started with a "little white lie" to cover an unexpected short... and then, it was so easy....

The same old story - as old as satan.... And the woman saw that the tree was good to eat, and fair to the eyes, and delightful to behold: and she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave to her husband who did eat. [Genesis 3: 6] The only thing that was missing from that scene was Adam and Eve telling God : "...but it was only a little white fruit...."

Every single offense to God constitutes any act by which a human being rejects the loving care of his Creator and should be brought up at the monthly Sacrament of Reconciliation. One does not have to go into great detail as to what the sin was but the shortcoming which causes that particular sin must be reported as well as the progress being made in fighting such shortcoming.

Therefore, let us stop eliminating "white little sins" from the Sacrament of Reconciliation - all sin can lead to mortal sin if unattended and they should be treated as such. We are not concerned at all about what 'this priest' or 'that priest' may say about this issue - they have had 2000 years to get it right and most  have not and the situation continues to get worse! Thus here we are, in His Holy Name, to "mop up" and bring some Light before it is too late and we loose even the souls that are marked for Heaven!

"For there shall arise false Christs and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders, insomuch as to deceive (if possible) even the elect." [Matthew 24:24]

What is truly amazing that the Church Administrators still do not understand what fueled the French and Bolshevique Revolutions as well as other major political upheavals (in Italy, Spain and Portugal) which would have never happened if the Church, East and West, would have focused on transmitting and implementing, by example, the message of our Lord Jesus Christ instead of gaining temporal power - political and financial.

The Church of the East - Orthodox - may have learned after over seventy years of Soviets; but, Rome? It will take God razing it to the ground before they learn. The first lesson will be the "Oops, but we are not completely infallible after all!"

This essential human characteristic is symbolically shown through Adam and Eve. We are taught that men and women are born with a free will, to decide on their own.

Just like the book of Genesis shows us, our essential choice is between good and evil. Why did God not make us so that we could only choose good?

A. Genesis 2: 16-17 teaches us thus: And he commanded him, saying: Of every tree of paradise thou shalt eat:  But of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat.

It is not that Eve chose evil over good when she fell prey to the snare of satan. She could not have because she had not the capacity yet to do so. What she chose to do was to disobey God - just like Lucifer had before. What Adam did was to believe his wife over God.

Therefore, our "essential choice" is to obey God or not and the benefits or consequences the choice made commence to unfold before our eyes from Chapter 3 of the Book of Genesis through the last verse of the last chapter of the Book of Revelations.

Why does God tolerate our abuses, wars, pains? We have amply covered that in one of our documents. What can we then do to minimize the pains? We have also covered that in another of our documents.

"Why did God not make us so that we could only choose good?" So that we may freely love Him. Would you like to manipulate someone into loving you? Would you like to be manipulated into loving someone?

Q.  Jesus, I trust in You!

You have spoken of the Serpent of Revelations who in his fury spews forth water as he chases the woman and her child fleeing him. This water is the confusion sent out to clouds man's thinking to prevent him from obtaining freedom from deceit. Your explanations, observations, honesty, teaching, broad perspective, has been so helpful to me as I strive to say and act in my YES to the Our Lord Jesus Christ. It aids in clearing my mind in trying to discern events, news, opinion, teachings, people. Who to take with a grain of salt, or avoid, or listen to.

I wrote once of trying to guide my family. A benchmark would be this Christmas. Turning away from a commercial Christmas we spent a day together celebrating the birth of Christ. Our gifts were stockings with toiletries and candies. The main gift we received was a brown scapular for each of us and a relic of our favorite saint. My family was deeply moved and excited about receiving them. How different from a year ago! I know that prayer and their relationship to God is crucial to each of them in their daily lives. I am Blessed but so are You my dear Miguel for without knowing it, you helped to bring this about thorough your website. Praise God! Glorify the Lord!

I continue striving to grow in my relationship with God. I thank you for your part. I hope that I will be able to continue gleaning what I can from your site. Though to be honest I wish you didn't feel the need to change things. However, we all must serve God and respond in the best way we can. I offer up my small pain of the changes on your site.

A.  Your kind words Glorify God Whom we strive to serve.  You state: "I continue striving to grow in my relationship with God."  As you continue to do so, you will continue to draw closer to Him and be enriched by His Wisdom - never stop!  Too many, when they reach a certain level of Divine understanding feel that "the have God by the Beard" and they do not need to strive anymore... and then they fall.  This is exactly what Jesus warned us about when He spoke thus:


He was not talking about worldly possessions, He was talking about Divine Wisdom.

When man thinks that he "has God by the Beard" and that with whatever little wisdom he has gained he is entitled to righteousness, that little wisdom will be taken away. Conversely, for those of us who remain on our knees, truly recognizing our frailties, our ignorance and sinfulness but trusting in God's Mercy and always deferring to Him, He will continue to impart Wisdom.... then, the more we learn, the more we realize how little we know, then we go back to Him seeking for more, and more we receive.... a never ending cycle and the secret of Divine Wisdom - the acknowledgment of our nothingness and our perpetual deference to Him.

Q.  When the Warning of the Garabandal prophesy occurs, wouldn't the "enlightenment of the conscious given to each of us by that event be enough to change the mindset of people toward abolishing abortion on demand? ....  all of us are highly influenced by the ways of the world and seem to be punished in this life for doing the 'right thing'.
 
Also, I believe that Conchita mentioned something to the effect that some of us would die (die from the stress  of seeing what our sins have done).   Are all of us in danger of dying from this stress , since we are all sinners and have done (or failed to do all we should have done) the right things time and time again?

A. Even when such enlightenment takes place many will still reject God. He is only giving all an opportunity to see the state of our souls; what we do about what we see still depends of an act of our free will. Obviously, if an individual's name is not in the Book of Life nothing will change that.

Yes, we all are influenced by the "wicked ways of the world" and will pay the consequences if we "dance to the world's music". This is why, those of us who become more and more aware of what is right and what is wrong, MUST pray, as we have explained, for those who cannot see it. The more aware we become of the Truth, the more God will expect from us - most specially in the coming to the prayerful assistance to those who are lost and still must find their way back to the Father because their name IS in the Book of Life.

Yes indeed, many will die when they see the state of their souls. We refer you to m de P's experience; that experience took place a few years after his conversion and in a State of Grace. In his case, the shock was logically manifested as sorrow because by then he loved the Lord deeply and he was experiencing how his past sins, already forgiven and paid for, had made Jesus suffer. No one enjoys witnessing the suffering of the object of one's profound love.

A truly sorrowful and contrite heart combined with true faith in God's Mercy will greatly help at that time.

Q.  I wanted to know what your opinion was on the wearing of the Brown Scapular. I know from what I read that Our Lady said who ever dies wearing this garment will not suffer eternal fire, but do you have to read the little office of Mary every day, if you wear the scapular.

A.  This, like with the use of any other sacramental, should not become like wearing an amulet or owning a talisman. Consciously wearing the scapular is a reminder to our, and His Mother that we are Hers and are counting with Her help to make it so more and more every day. It is also a reminder to ourselves of such commitment. The wearing of the scapular is also a great psychological help, especially in women: If a woman wears one and she is going to wear a less than modest top garment, the scapular will show and she will be automatically reminded that the top garment is not modest.

In came satan and "invented" the misuse of the scapular medal: Crafted in gold and dangling from a gold chain.... too many times almost submerged in an apparently bottomless cleavage. Hardly a holy situation.

Empty and elaborate rituals are worthless - look at the world today after millions of such Masses and Rosaries. If  more than just a small fraction of those Masses and Rosaries had reached Heaven, this world would be a near paradise for His children. Instead, what we read in Chapter 1 of the Book of Isaiah applied.

A scapular worn with the right frame of mind (see first paragraph above) and a well intended renewal of one's consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary on a frequent basis will please God and Mary far more that to automatically fulfill a ritual.

 Regarding your "disappointment".... We suggest that you offer it to God in reparation for the disappointment the Administrators of the Church He established have caused Him; to Mary for the disappointment the Administrators of the Church Her Son established have caused Her; and to both for the disappointments that you have caused them Both.

God has a plan for each one of us and as we deviate from it, we cause him grief and disappointment. Unfortunately we usually think of "my disappointment" and not the disappointments that we may cause others - most specially to those Who love us like no one else would ever be capable of.

Q.  The following thoughts came to me a couple of months ago.
 
 We must respect and believe that our Lord God knows all and is all powerful.  In His  omnipotence  He knows when a fetus will be aborted.  Could not He, in His infinite Mercy, not  allow a soul to enter that fetus?

What if all the energy, prayers, and supplication now being expended on the abortion issue, were focused on World Peace, or the souls in Purgatory, or to stop the death penalty in America for those we know already have a soul, or to stop the terrible genocide of the World?

 Who has tricked us into diverting our prayers in this matter?  I cannot  imagine the power of all those prayers pounding at Heaven's Door for these undeniable, visible  horrors.

A. God gave man a free will - therefore, for Him to intervene and change the situation would require that someone place in His Hands the means to do so. For example: m de P, every day offers a decade of the Holy Rosary prefaced with the following invocation:

That is "how the system works" and should be applied to all calamitous situations - It is sad that after nearly 2000 years our poor brethren have no been properly instructed in doing so. Why do you think Mary has kept coming for nearly two centuries?

To end all man-made horrors we must go to the root cause of the problem. Didn't Jesus teach us, without a doubt, to pray for our enemies and persecutors? When we pray for their conversion - those who are to be converted, will, and their behavioral pattern will change to be more Christ like. Regarding those who are not to be converted (and only God knows "Who Is Who")... when we pray for them they will, in essence, be neutralized from harming you and anyone else God determines.

How many people prayed for Hitler when his true colors began to show? Stalin when assumed the reins of the Soviet Union? Your local pedophile priest and his collaborating Bishop? The terrorists who indiscriminantly kill whomever they wish? We will venture to guess that just a handful of individuals in the entire Christian Universe did.

This has become a "gimme" world - the only Trinity that most Christians believe in is "I, Me and Myself" just to, when things just "don't go their way" say: "Is there a God?" "How can God allow this?"

To that we answer: Yes, there Is a God and He would not allow this if we did our part and quit hosting "pity parties" and pointing the finger at someone else. We are responsible for the sewer we live in in spite of the enormous power placed in our hands by God through Jesus Christ. To wit:
