Q. Regarding the recent mailing (*) about Opus Dei activities....

I lived in Spain for 4 years 1994-1998 and then Italy (Siciliy) 1998-2001 and I was shocked at the feeling I received from the local populations concerning the Catholic Religion and their public lives. This article doesn't surprise me at all.

I was robbed many many, many times while in Europe both my home and car. I traveled to Portugal several times and especially in Portugal I felt the presence of God. I loved it there!!!!!!! I was shocked at the behavior of the Priests I saw and knew while in Rome.

How could we expect the children to be any better? The Catholic Church is losing so many to evangelical Christians in Europe. The Hierarchy in Rome doesn't seem to care a whit as long as they get theirs. That's how I saw and see it.

I know this is no surprise to you. I went to several military Conference of Catholic Women gatherings in Germany where there were Priests trying to push Opus Dei. Honestly, I walked out of their seminar quickly when they started talking as they really gave me the creeps. I didn't even know why, just felt very strange around me.

For the general public you speak to, the words you say ring absolutely true in every way, as this comes from someone who has no connection to your site except to look for spiritual guidance beyond the Bible. I have experienced the things you speak of.

I appreciate all the major efforts done to make and keep this site running. You can't possibly know the depths of the hearts you reach, but, you will know when God thanks each one of you personally for your efforts. DON'T GIVE UP ON US, GOD WON'T.

A. Your kind words humble us, while, at the same time provide much needed encouragement - it is a lonely road, but so was calvary...

We pray that our readers appreciate the information contained in your communication. Almost one has to be there for such reality to "soak in". During the last "Conclave" miguel de Portugal was in Rome and he wrote a Trip Report. We do not think that many people believed it, even though it was a second one, the first Report was written in January 2001.

You will be surprised where Portugal "is at" these days with the clergy leading "the way". The social condition of Spain is beyond description and Portugal are "importing" it very rapidly.

All continues to get worse because the Faithful has decided that if they "look the other way" it "will go away". How much we wish that they would understand the full meaning of Pain Is the Megaphone that God Uses for the Deaf to Listen to Him and the gravity associated with Denial.

In addition to the social and moral condition of Spain - a country Opus Dei essentially controls:

The "Fundación Santa María" prepared a report "Jóvenes Españoles 2005" (Spanish Youth 2005) directed by Pedro González, Professor of the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.. This report was based on a survey of 4,000 Spaniards ranging in age from 15 and 24 years.

Although we - from personal experience - "lived and witnessed" these results - that tragedy - now there are black-and-white numbers to confirm it.As if this confirmation were not enough, God granted us the Grace of having - in the form of a personal letter of the highest profiled prelate in Spain, Cardinal Rouco Varela - the justification used by the Church Hierarchy for such abysmal failure.

Q. May the peace of Our Lord and Savior be always with you.

In regard to the question of rejected prayers I read the last two lines of the document entitled "Leaving the Roman Catholic Church".

I tried to keep it in context but came away with the distinct feeling that you were saying that millions of rosaries and masses are rejected by God, (and I got the impression) that you meant those of sinners. I read the text suggested, and still felt that the context was that God would reject, the prayers of sinners.

I am a sinner. We both know that. I fear each day that I am not enough.

I wish the Holy Spirit would show me that I am on my way "home", that my path is the right one. My faith in Jesus is all I'll have, and while that should be enough, my faith, like me, is weak. Call it depression, call it self loathing, call it what you will. I pray for God's direction, and an end to fear. All of my life, fifty plus years, I held to the Church, and now to have taken the step I took, to walk away is counter to all I was taught. It is so hard to stop listening to memories of my childhood telling me I will burn in hell. We were "cradle-Catholics" baptized at birth, and confirmed through fear. We heard of love, but heard a great deal more of hell.

Please pray for us, who have not had visions, nor came to our faith later in life through inspiration, prayer and thoughtfulness, but rather through our parents, who didn't know that we prayed late at night in our fourth grade nightmares that we would be spared the horrors of martyrdom from communists, atom bombs and then hell because we ate meat the friday before. I'm sure it sounds foolish. It does to me, a fifty-three year old man, but that nine year old boy is still there, and he still knows a fear of God. I pray daily for his mercy.

A. First of all, know that the individual who was anointed miguel de Portugal was also a "cradle catholic". So "cradle" that his maternal grandfather's first cousin was the Cardinal Patriarch of his country of birth - we share the same name. Thanks be to God miguel's parents did not pay any attention to the scare tactics utilized by the Church to Evangelize; iun addition he had the witness of a maternal grandmother whose head was always in Heaven while her feet were solidly planted on Earth and her Rosary always in hand.

Nonetheless - after his first communion at the age of ten, he only entered a Church for weddings and baptisms. [Granny did not use scare tactics - she just used much love.]

Now - back to your central question regarding our statement in our latest document "About Leaving the Roman Catholic Church". We will answer that with a real life parable.

The scene was at the Parish of Mary, Help of Christians in Salamanca, Spain. The time - Holy Week. The event - communal Viacrucis. Refrain after each prayer: "Forgive them Lord, for they are sinners."

To these people and most filling the Churches and Sanctuaries today - the sinners are "the other ones"; any one else but certainly not themselves. Why most everyone goes to the Holy Communion without ever bothering with the Sacrament of Reconciliation. They seem to have assumed Mary's Immaculate state....

This type are those whose prayers are ignored by God because their hands are full of blood [Isaiah 1:15] - meaning, they are weighed down with a multitude of sins [which they conveniently ignore]. Why? Quite simple. If you always perceived yourself as "clean and smelling like a rose", would you ever bathe? Of course not! However, those around you will keep their distance from you and your offensive odor.

Look at the Prodigal Son, the moment he realized that he was a sinner and turned to the Father, he was on his way to Heaven, yet there was "some walking" still to do to get back home; however, the Father, Who had ran to meet him, walked the walk Home with him.

Brother, we regret that you, like millions upon millions of children of God were brainwashed with demonic tactics of fear. We still hear those often repeated words of the self righteous: "I am a God fearing man!"

That is blasphemy! Fearing He Who Is Pure Love? The only "fear" that we must have is the salutary desire not to offend the One Who Loved us so much that became Man to die for us so that He could take us Home.

Anyone who fears God is not of God! Period!

What part of all of this can't you understand?

Brothers and sisters - this is precisely one of the key functions that God has called us to fulfill.

Proclaim to one and all that: The Catholic Faith is the one Faith which has the greatest concentration of Divinely Revealed Truths. By no means it has them all since God is the only Plenitude of Truth. While, at the same time, denounce the criminals who have, in essence, commandeered the Catholic Church since the days of the Emperor Constantine to serve their very material agendas by keeping the poor souls like you in the chains of fear. Only satan and his agents would do that!

Pray for God to help you break those chains so that your soul may soar to meet the Father as He lovingly walks you Home.

Q. In reading your answer to one of the questions, you stated that God said "Thou shalt not Kill" ( obviously from the 10 commandments) and that "He gave no exceptions whatsoever."

My question: I have heard it stated many times on the radio from some very knowledgeable Jewish talk show hosts that the word "KILL" was mistranslated and should have been MURDER. "Thou shalt not murder." This can't be true from your answer to JL.

The radio hosts' argument seems very strong on the face of it, because if someone is going to try to harm me or my family or I have to go to war, I will do whatever is necessary to kill or be killed.

God has instilled a very strong will to survive in everyone. What do I or anyone of our fighting men do in this situation?

Unfortunately, man is the "Master of Spinning the Facts" and, when it comes to circumventing the Laws of God, he shines brightly.

To kill, to murder, to commit a homicide [1st degree or 2nd degree], euthanasia, abortion, ad infinitum means only one thing: Taking an action which will cause/force the separation of the soul from the body; i.e. cause physical death.

The Roman Catholic Church defends "Just Wars" because they have to justify the atrocities they committed. The Jews and Muslims will Spin the Law their way for similar reasons, but, did you notice that when God freed His people from Egypt He reserved the right to take away the life of Egyptians? Did you notice that Jesus could have led a most effective revolt against Rome and free His people from their yoke yet He did not?

It seems that as the Old Testament progressed, the Spin Masters started to justify anything and everything they needed to further their temporal agendas. Note that we do not find wanton killing in the New Testament. This is because its "writing period" was very short in comparison with the Old Testament. But not to worry - Rome took care of that by assuming Divine Powers and killing at will to further their very temporal agendas.

God IS the Master of Life and Death and woe to those who dare to assume such role.

About self defense? About war? Did not Jesus say through Luke 12:

6 Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God? 7 Yea, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: you are of more value than many sparrows. 8 And I say to you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God. 9 But he that shall deny me before men, shall be denied before the angels of God.

The issue rests upon our level of Faith. For the wonderful things that Jesus spoke about to take place in our lives, we must believe. This is what Faith is all about. This is why it is so important to pray for Faith since only God can give it. Most of the "Faith" we see around us is "intellectual faith" which will vanish at the first blow - just wait and see.

That we are "talking through our hat"? Miguel's life has been attempted against many times and the attempts will continue to fail until his appointed time comes. What security measures does he use? Simple common sense and "a very open ear to God" to make sure that he takes whatever evasive action God determines he must take in a particular case. In others - he knows nothing until after the attempt has taken place and God handled it without m de P's action. That this sounds unbelievable? Well, doesn't the resurrection of a dead body sound unbelievable too? It is just a matter of Faith and the "Power it packs."

What about those who go to war? "Father, forgive them for they do not know what they do." because we assure you, if a human being knew how serious it is to take someone's life, he/she would prefer to die in the other one's place. This is how bad we know (not believe, but know) it is.

It's ironic that I've been contemplating whether or not to send a letter to the Apostolic Nuncio in Washington, DC to voice my outrage to a sex/ed Catholic elementary school program, Growing in Love (Filth).

I've sent 6 emails to different "higher ups" in the Archdiocese and have gotten no response. The publishers (Harcourt Books) are basically going to indoctrinate Catholic children in my diocese to accept Homosexuality, to teach lies and confusion and believe other inconsistencies relating to the Catechism of the Catholic Church while leading them like lemmings to hell.

The administrators of the school has informed the parents this is "mandated" by the Archbishop.

Harcourt publishers also produce abortion manuals. Next my letters will be sent to the local press.

I finally "see" how God is using me !

Take note - A Basilica was built by the Roman Catholic Church in the 19th century honoring the Apparition. "The Basilica of Our Lady of La Salette was begun in 1852, completed in 1865, and designated a basilica in 1879. It is a large, rather austere church, with a facade flanked by two strong towers."

That is the best proof that we can give you that La Salette has been approved by the Roman Catholic Church since 1852.

Many within the Roman Catholic Church are trying to downplay La Salette and even discredit it. Why? If you read the awesome Message of La Salette, which encompasses from that time in mid 19th Century to now, the End of These Times, you will find gems such as:

"The priests, ministers of my Son, the priests, by their wicked lives, by their irreverence and their impiety in the celebration of the holy mysteries, by their love of money, their love of honors and pleasures, the priests have become cesspools of impurity. Yes, the priests are asking for vengeance, and vengeance is hanging over their heads. Woe to the priests and to those dedicated to God who by their unfaithfulness and their wicked lives are crucifying my son again! The sins of those dedicated to God cry out towards Heaven and call for vengeance, and now vengeance is at their door, for there is no one left to beg mercy and forgiveness for the people. There are no more generous souls, there is no one left worthy of offering a stainless sacrifice to the Eternal God for the sake of the world.

"The seasons will be altered, the earth will produce nothing but bad fruit, the stars will lose their regular motion, the moon will only reflect a faint reddish glow. Water and fire will give the earth's globe convulsions and terrible earthquakes which will swallow up mountains, cities.... Rome will lose the faith and become the seat of the Antichrist.

Of course, just like other parts of the Message, the above has also been made manifest with a vengeance, which brings us up to the one who claims to be the Pope, yet, he is only the last stepping stone to fulfill the concluding part of the message:

"Now is the time, the abyss is opening. Here is the king of kings of darkness, here is the Beast with his subjects, calling himself the Savior of the world. He will rise proudly into the air to go to Heaven. He will be smothered by the breath of the Archangel Saint Michael. He will fall, and the earth, which will have been in a continuous series of convolutions for three days, will open up its fiery bowels; and he will have plunged for eternity with all his followers into the everlasting chasms of hell. And then water and fire will purge the earth and consume all the works of men's pride and all will be renewed. God will be served and glorified."

We must be ready for the nuclear holocaust - and worse - to take place at any time - literally, "at any time"; however, we must go on with our daily lives while giving top priority to our efforts to improve our relationship with God. Then, He will take care of the rest.

According to miguel de Portugal, Step No. 1 is probably the mildest of the events when compared with what will take place thereafter. So much so that some people have told him "I hope that I go on the first wave." However, calm reigns in his heart. Why?

The answer is as simple as all the solutions from God.

First, he continually strives to improve his relationship with God - without fanaticism nor hysteria. Second, he strives to do all he can reasonably do to fulfill his function. Then, the rest is up to God.

"Reasonably" means with abandonment BUT NOT with fanaticism.

That is really all that God has wanted all along. That is the central message that Jesus delivered and organized religion twisted to the point where people feel like you are feeling now and not the peace that they must feel if they knew that they are safely in the Hands of an Almighty and Merciful God.

What can we do to get "from here (panic) to there (peace)"? You may wish to review and act upon "What can we do? - Part 1 and Part 2 as well as meditate upon the Divine Encouragement that we strive to publish every other day.

Q. Today at the exhibition I was attending there was a man handing out tiny booklets called "Personal Bibles". He was a ragged looking individual, and stood there holding them out in his hand for anyone who wanted one. As I walked by, I took one... and quickly hurried on. I opened it about one block away to see what was inside... there was only a sampling of verses, with no reference to any church or person.

Upon returning that direction 15 minutes later, I watched him for a few minutes from the other side of the street as he held out one booklet for 10 minutes with no takers. I went across the street and confronted him, asking him who he was representing or working for. His reply was - I think - the correct one: "I only work for my Lord, Jesus Christ."

I looked down, and his little duffel bag was filled entirely with those booklets... it nearly brought me to tears. I took his hand and held it, while thanking him, realizing that he was really there on his own time and money. So I ask you for this... Prayers for that haggard individual, who seems more genuine than most and apparently has his priorities in order, and who appears to be one of the few souls still working in the trenches of everyday life to carry the message.

It just confirms to me that most people would prefer to have "their religion" dished out to them in a fancy, opulent "house of God" than from a poor man who speaks the truth in a subtle way on the street... It is so sad.

In addition, we assure you - without a doubt - that miguel de Portugal has met Jesus many times in various humble (and suffering) manifestations - unrecognizable as the Lord of Lords and King of Kings at the time. However, they were unforgettable moments which were seared in his soul. How many "beggars" would not accept a cent from him but would accept it from others. How many beggars has anyone seen to give money to the one who - by all worldly appearances - should be giving him alms? In one case it was the Blessed Virgin Mary Herself.

Miguel could write a book about these experiences, yet, in every case, he was not aware of what was taking place at the particular moment. Why? The God-given "Test" would have been invalid should he have known that the person in need - the ragged Bible "peddler", for example - was Jesus Christ Himself.

It sounds that you "passed" that Test with an A +.

In reference to: "It's very tough to keep a clear mind with the truths, and the intentional falsehoods to distort and confuse the faithful." - You are absolutely right and what we try to do in this area is to lead the people of God to continual communion with His Holy Spirit. When the Holy Spirit of God takes "full time residence" in our hearts, deception is only possible if God Wills it and, if God Wills it, so be it! Q. After re-reading your document on the manifestation of the Antichrist, a thought came to me. This is in reference to what I would term "Ratzinger's death-wish" in reference to his words concerning Islam, which have attracted much attention globally, and resulted in the issuance of a fatwa (death sentence) against him by fundamentalist Islamic leaders.

What is curious about this is the obvious and readily predictable reaction to his words, as well as his recent private meeting(s) with Dr. Henry Kissinger, who is also advising the Bush administration on the Gulf War.

So in light of that perceived death wish, I remembered a line of Scripture from Chapter 13 of Revelations: "And I saw one of his heads, as if it was slain to death: and its death wound was healed. And all the earth was in admiration after the beast". Immediately following this in the text, the Beast comes to even greater power and acclaim, and shows his "teeth".

Am I anywhere near close to understanding what I sense here correctly? If I am, then Christ be praised, as I am nothing of myself.

We have stated many times that if we were asked what else can the Vatican and the current US Administration do to precipitate the events of the Apocalypse, miguel de Portugal's answer would be: Nothing! Both camps are making sure - although unaware of it - that Step No. 1 of the Sequence of Events take place and that all "the ducks are lined up" so that the remainder prophecies are fulfilled. This is what the period of 42 years and months - on both accounts - is all about. What is happening is also exemplified in the book of Job, Chapter 1, verses 6 through 12 .

Regarding the "And I saw one of his heads, as if it was slain to death: and its death wound was healed. And all the earth was in admiration after the beast". That is better represented by the resurgence of Russia as a controlling world power.

Also keep in mind that Ratzinger is just the "Master of Ceremonies" for the presentation of the False Christ - satan passing himself as Jesus in His Second coming. Only the AntiChrist could possibly do so.

You are close in understanding the complexity of the horrendous reality which faces the world and which is denied by most - a denial that will cost them dearly.

A. Through the Grace of God, one of our collaborators has found great detail on said matter. We rae more than happy - if not eager - to pass it on so that the doubting Thomases are convinced that we do not "talk through the proverbial hat".

Belgium

In Belgium, the Belgian Parliamentary Commission on Cults submitted a report to the Belgian Parliament in 1997. The report differentiated in its conclusions between three types of "sectes":

the sect in strict sense (la secte strictu sensu). a group distinguished by a particular belief which is a normal expression of religious freedom
harmful sectarian organizations (Les organisations sectaires nuisibles) defined as a group with real or pretended philosophic or religious vocation which in its organisation or its practices includes harmful illegal activities, harms individuals or society or interferes with human dignity.
criminal associations (Les associations de malfaiteurs) defined as criminal organisations (frauds, money launderers, drug traffickers, pedophile rings, etc.) using a cult-like or pseudo-religious front to disguise their criminal practices. ²^(pg.
99-101)

The report included a list of 189 organizations which had come up during the investigation, including the Amish Mission in Belgium, Buddhism, several Catholic groups such as Opus Dei, some Evangelical Christian denominations, Hasidic Judaism, Quakers, and Satanists, but stated clearly immediately before the listing:

"This listing does not constitute a specific position or a judgment by the commission. The fact that a movement is listed here, even if at the instigation of an official instance, does not signify that the commission regards it as a sect, let alone as dangerous. (Cette énumération ne constitue donc ni une prise de position, ni un jugement de valeur de la part de la commission. Ainsi, le fait pour un mouvement d'y figurer, même si c'est à l'initiative d'une instance officielle, ne signifie pas que pour la commission, il soit une secte, et a fortiori qu'il soit dangereux.) ²^(pg.

But more important, most of the commission’s report, including the above mentioned list (tableau synoptique), was rejected by the Belgian Parliament in the plenary session on May 7, 1997. Out of the 670-pages-report, the Belgian Parliament approved only the section “conclusions and recommendations” (pages 209-226).³

The Quakers complained to Deputy Prime Ministers about their inclusion on the list, pointed out their humanitarian aid programs, and requested to see the evidence against them which had been presented the federal police in a closed session to the Parliamentary Commission. They were unsuccessful in their appeal.^{[citation needed]}

As a consequence of the advice of the commission to the parliament, a law was accepted to observe cults that possibly break the law. This resulted in the foundation of a centre on June 2, 1998 for the information and advice on harmful cults, located in Brussels. [1]
