Blessings to you today!

Ostensibly today is the day that the US gives thanks. My feeling is that we should give thanks every day to God (1) for Him and for allowing each of us to live. We should accept the good with the bad.

Christ (2) spent 33 years walking the earth to give us an example of humility, patience, charity and courage. He came to lead the way and set an example. Every moment He was here He petitioned the Father (3) on our behalf for our redemption.

There is no greater love than that of God for mankind. It is pity that we so seldom reflect on the true nature of our being.

It is amazing how deferential, if not obsequious, we are to those in power, or with riches and fame (4), and yet we ignore Jesus in the Tabernacle or insult Him repeatedly.

Today's reading tells of a man who was cured by Jesus and wanted to join him in thanks. But no, Jesus told him to go home and tell all. He probably told him to live an exemplary life, or perhaps this man out of gratitude, did so.

Not all of us can be priests or religious, but we can still be Saints. (5) God calls each of us to do a special task meant for us alone. All of us can lead by example, as Jesus did.

Jesus said, and you have repeated, God does not want sacrifice, nor special Masses, nor fanfare, etc. God wants us to show Mercy, as He has shown Mercy. (6)

It is REALITY, that God has forgiven us for our many and continued transgressions, (7) yet we continue to find fault, bicker, and complain about one another (8). Worse, we refuse to forgive our enemies (3) and to pray for them.

How in the world can there be peace when everyone wants to get in the last word, the last punch or the last bomb? Even worse, we now seem to want to get in the first word, the first punch and the first bomb.

Praise God for sending you Miguel, and all the other Saints who have lead the way.

God's Peace to all!

It's pathetic that this unnecessary waste of lives happen due to reckless decision by a few.

I do pray for these men and women and their families afflicted by the horrors of war, including others who suffered too peripherally.

That's why my prayers, too, are for the speedy return of Christ, of course, according to His Will.

May He grant us a Green Apocalypse, soon.

As you recently again wrote: ....whatsoever things you have spoken in darkness, shall be published in the light: and that which you have spoken in the ear in the chambers, shall be preached on the housetops. [Luke 13:3] and as you have frequently stated: Even satan must serve God!

I happily bring to you another example of almost earthshaking magnitude.

You may be well aware the Chicago Archbishop Francis Cardinal George is the new head of the USCCB (1).

The following quotes are extracted from the above linked article:

1. "The cardinal defended the archdiocese's record on responding to victims. We have taken every single allegation of abuse and have dealt with it,' he said"

2. "The archdiocese waited months to remove an accused parish priest in Chicago, the Rev. Daniel McCormack, who pleaded guilty to sexually abusing five boys ages 8 to 12. George has acknowledged that he failed to act soon enough in McCormack's case". (2)

3. "One of George's deputies, Chicago Auxiliary Bishop Thomas Paprocki, a civil and canon lawyer, recently told a Mass for lawyers (3) that "none other than the devil" was behind the abuse claims against U.S. dioceses that have cost the church more than $2 billion since 1950."

Further - as per an article in the Chicago Sun Times dated today:

"The cardinal also wrote that money was the motivation for proposed state legislation that would allow adults who were abused by priests as children to sue their perpetrators in cases where statutes of limitation have expired."

and

"This is irresponsible, is not about the safety of children as the sponsor claims, and is clearly, to me at least, about money,"

Also we read in the Chicago Tribune: "Advocates for abuse victims demonstrated outside the conference's hotel Monday and Tuesday, urging bishops not to elect George. Critics say his failure to immediately remove Rev. Daniel McCormack from his West Side parish in 2005, when credible accusations were made, is unacceptable. McCormack pleaded guilty in July to molesting five boys and was sentenced to five years in prison.

The election of Kicanas equally disappointed them. With numerous victims seeking compensation related to sex abuse in the Tucson diocese, Kicanas sought bankruptcy protection for the diocese in 2004. Though the bankruptcy agreement established a trust to pay victims, critics saw his action as a way to avoid accountability. A former Chicago priest, Kicanas served as rector of Mundelein Seminary in the 1980s and as an auxiliary bishop of Chicago from 1995 to 2001."

To add insult to injury, the aforementioned Chicago Aux. Bishop Paprocki was elected Chairman of the Committee on Canonical Affairs & Church Government!

And now for the fulfillment of what you keep repeating as stated in the introduction of my letter ..........

On November 13th at a noon press conference broadcast LIVE on global tv/satellite hookup, I was able to hear some very interesting things from George, Kicanis, plus Archbishop Kurz, Bishops Wenski, and Niederaur. The conference concluded with a parting remark by Cardinal George, and then...... presuming that the microphones were turned OFF, Wenski said (very audibly) to George:

I wish I had recorded this!

During the weekend, I spent some time reading WSJ issues that I missed. I was struck by your comment, "and are working from within to achieve it" in the email below (1).

I read an editorial in the WSJ by Alan Dershowitz (2), the famed Harvard Law School Professor, who is Jewish. He advocated torture for that "one in a million" case where a captured terrorist has information and you know he has information about an impending disaster which will cost millions of lives. Bill and Hillary Clinton support this idea.

Dershowitz said that "some decent people" in the French Resistance succumbed to torture by the Nazis and gave up the locations of friends and families who were likely killed.

Here is the irony of it all. A noted Jew in America is telling us in the WSJ that we should use torture because the Nazis did and it worked.

There is no doubt that God gave the world America to do good things. However, slowly but surely, America has become the cliché:

"a distinction without a difference." A lot has changed here since you left in 1990, Miguel.

I have watched it first hand and would not have believed it, if I had not lived it.

As you point out, the ONLY solution is to pray to God for His Mercy. Our human institutions are worthless. Ditto for our "leaders."

Christ be with you!

I was considering writing to you about Billy Graham in a different context, and then I happened to read what you wrote and quoted (*) !

Billy Graham is actually an ordained minister of the Presbyterian Church (!), and is a 33 Degree Freemason & member of the Scottish Rite (which requires degree status above the 30th) of the Southern Jurisdiction, which has its HQ in Charleston, SC. That town has long been known as an occult center; additionally, that Lodge HQ has been referred to as the "Mother Lodge of the World". The motto of the Scottish Rite is: "Ordo ab Chao" .......(order out of chaos), which would seem to be the general theme of the persons/organizations which facilitate the NWO.

Interestingly, several other very high profile US "Christian ministers" are also 33 Masons:

1. Norman Vincent Peale (deceased -Dutch Reformed/Collegiate Church) pastor for over 50 years of Marble Collegiate Church in NYC and author of 'The Power of Positive Thinking".

2. Robert Schuller (Dutch Reformed/Collegiate Church). Well known TV preacher and pastor of the Garden Grove Community Church (Crystal Cathedral) in California.

3. Jesse Jackson (Baptist?). Long time political activist. Prince Hall (Black) 33 degree Mason.

4. Al Sharpton (ordained by????) Long time political activist, Prince Hall Mason, and known former FBI informant on civil rights/black activism (as per NY Daily News article c.1986).

There are others, but these are the most well known to TV viewers. Graham also has a long history of close and overt cooperation with various US "Catholic" Bishops, dioceses, EWTN notables (i.e. Rev. Benedict Groeschel) - who have engineered the bussing of parishioners and school children to Graham's arena rallies in several US cities.

So aside from the curious connection with several US presidents, Graham and "ministers" of his ilk only know and use Christ as a form of "brand recognition" ......much like a corporate trademark, to lure in the unwary.

May the Lord have mercy on us all then!

I for one, cannot see how I can be gainfully employed after such a financial catastrophe. Having experienced destitution to some degree before (utilities disconnected due to non-payment, dropping out of college because our family couldn't afford it, having no idea where to get our next meal, had our house not been paid for we would be out on the street...), I can only hope that somehow my children be spared that fate.

But then again, we are living in the End Times.

Pray for me brethren, that God may guide me according to His will.

Market Shock: AAA Rating May Be Junk

The great stock market rally of 2002 through 2007 has been built on liquidity — and much of the liquidity has been based on financial engineering that allowed highly risky investments to be financed by investors who thought they were taking no risks.

They were wrong.

Now the question is whether the market can continue rising as investors learn that the financial innovations that helped to build the boom were constructed on sand.
When Bear Stearns admitted this week that two hedge funds were expected to lose, in round numbers, 100 percent of their value, it blamed “unprecedented declines in the valuations of a number of highly rated (AA and AAA) securities.”

Those securities were nothing like the bonds issued by companies with triple-A or double-A ratings. Such bonds almost never plunge in value because the companies borrowing the money are financially solid.

But the money invested by the hedge funds went to finance mortgage loans to subprime customers, borrowers as close to being a triple-A credit as Moscow is to Maui as a beach resort.

By the magic of securitization, sow’s ears could become silk purses, or at least look like them. Most subprime mortgages would never default, went the theory, and rising home prices would minimize losses when there were defaults. So if a security was protected from the first 10 or 20 percent of losses in a mortgage portfolio, then it was as safe as a loan to General Electric. Such securities got AAA ratings.

Surprised about the appropriate authorities not acting on these intelligence leads warning on impending terror attacks? Of course not.

Isn't it interesting that the British government is being vehemently accused of the same thing that the US government was accused in reference to the 9-11 events?

Isn't it interesting that the "Bopsie Twins" of the War on Terror is the US and the UK?

Would be illogical to think that without an enemy we could not have a war?

Would it not be logical to think that if we had a real threat (*) we would take "this issue" a bit more seriously?

It must be that the incense burning at the foot of the Tabernacle, where we spend much time, is beginning to affect our logic.... or is it?

(*) Real threat is defined as a threat completely out of our reach and control, and not a threat as defined by CNN and Sky News.

At your request, I have reviewed the History Channel program aired recently about "The Lost Book of Nostradamus".

Briefly, the "lost" book is alleged to have been presented by N (Nostradamus) (1) to a cardinal at the Vatican where it stayed under wraps for years. Later it was purchased by the Italian National Library from someone else but the author was claimed to be N. It was recently "found" by an Italian author who was apparently perusing the collection.

The book is a collection of 80 watercolor plates which depict many of the quatrains. They are not bound together but in a portfolio which apparently was typical for the times.

Most important, the plates depict what "experts" contend is the apocalypse. The images are all loaded with symbolism so one can read into many what one wants. Basically the images are all bad news for the Church with representations of the Pope in various degrees of distress or danger and many representations of the AntiChrist.

Interestingly, this program addresses one of the criticisms featured on the preceding program (also recorded) which is, "Why can't you N experts predict something rather than telling us after the fact?" To wit, where were those experts on Sept. 10, 2001?

Thus, there is a mad dash, if not frenzy, to figure out what is going to happen next.

The climax is that it will all end when certain celestial events occur. These events only happen once every 13,000 years and are due again between 1992-2012.

Yes that 2012 number, again. (2)

The program admits that the book is not an original by N, but rather recopied. The program insists that it must be important since it was kept and recopied over the years.

I believe that the book importance and relevance was stated at least THREE TIMES, thus there must be a reason this book came to light now.

The basic problem with this kind of programming is that it gives people a fatal diagnosis without any hope of cure. Worse, it trivializes the events since there is a GAME for people to play in which one makes predictions using quatrains. I agree that seers can and do see, but they are not doing God's Will. It is fair to say that a prophet of God will announce that he is a prophet of God and act like one, with wisdom, patience, courage, charity and humility.

One can tell God's Messengers by what they say and do.

This program feeds into the Jonah syndrome. As you know, it wasn't easy to get Jonah to deliver the message to Ninevah, but once he did, he actually looked forward to having Ninevah destroyed. Shame on him!

If we learn anything from this program: it is

1. do not trust anything touched by the Vatican;
2. people are most driven by fear, greed comes in second; (3)
3. God provides warnings (4), but also hope that if we do the right thing, we can stay His Hand or mitigate the damage (5).

As Our Blessed Mother said, Pray, Pray, and Pray some more.

One can never Pray too much!
