Portugal Comments: "....neither
do I condemn thee, go and
sin no more." is amongst the most misunderstood, misused and
abused instructions given by Jesus. On their erroneous interpretation
one may find the theological root of the failed Evangelization effort.
"Sin no more" does not mean that henceforth that individual will not
sin anymore - that is almost an impossibility without direct Divine
intervention. That statement must be seen as what it means: "Convert".
Once the conversion has taken place (that is - when the "leaven" of the
Kingdom of Heaven is "hid" in the soul of the individual [Mat.
13:33] at the moment of conversion) - always through
Divine intervention - the "whole"(soul) becomes leavened slowly but surely and the
tendency of that individual to sin will begin to be reduced rapidly -
with the most grave sins being immediately avoided and the lesser sins
being rejected with a priority consistent with their gravity.
With the "Evangelizers" demanding the impossible, that is, stop all sin
immediately, the poor soul only has two choices: (1) Lie about their
conversion and, logically, drift even further away from God; or (2)
Reject organized religion altogether which, in too many cases, entails
the rejection of God by a conscious act or by joining some religion of
which God is not a part. In either case, the "Evangelizers" have driven the soul away
from God. This is precisely why the world is in the condition it is now
after 2000 years of perverted "Evagelization".
Knowing as I know God - His awesome reality, His Love, His Mercy, His
most desirable Justice (because it brings automatic Peace), His true
Omnipotence in ALL aspects, I have this to say with absolute certainty: If the "Evangelizers" had done their work
- bringing forth the true God and proclaiming the true Good News - it
would be difficult to find a human being who would not insist, demand!,
in becoming Christian.
This is why we continue to proclaim
