Here It Is Again Hoping That the Still Blind and Deaf Elect Finally Wake Up!

Originally published in December 2004

PRE INTRODUCTION

To those who read this document when it was originally issued right after the US Presidential Elections of 2004, we recommend that they read it again with the events of the last several years as a backdrop. To those who never read it, we suggest that they do. Time is running out and when the “Night of the Broken Crystals” happens again, this time for all the men and women of Good Will, it will be too late to learn what perhaps you should have known.

PURPOSE

The purpose of this document is to continue to call to the attention of the faithful that:

(1) Appearances ARE Deceiving;

(2) satan is the Master of Deceit;

(3) The Illumination by Holy Spirit of God IS THE ONLY assurance of recognizing Deceit;

(4) The False Christ will be the ultimate snare of satan; and

(5) Unless humanity rejects the Sin of Denial...

...suffering will multiply and spread itself as the worse plague that has impacted humanity in recorded history.

BACKGROUND

We recently received a letter from an assiduous visitor to the pages of The M+G+R Foundation. The letter was written pre US Presidential Election day, thus, the subject matter is, of course, how to vote. We ask the reader to ignore that part and focus on the concern of the sender – which is the real serious part of the letter and what concerns us the most.

Dear Miguel,

I know God is pro-life and Pro-choice, for it is our free will that He gives us. The punishment for our free will to not choose life and murdering thousands of innocent children that God intended to be born is the main cause of the earth birthing pangs and the end is coming soon.

I cannot fathom John Kerry, who is anti-family, anti-life, to have the ultimate power of President of the USA, for he does not care about anyone but himself. George Bush, when first in office, one of the first bills he signed was to stop partial birth abortion, he is pro-life, pro-family and against gay marriage, and mentions God and thanks God all of the time; John Kerry is just the opposite.

I cannot feel that voting for a man that is for murdering unborn babies in their wombs will help the innocent and since the world is coming to an end, what would the problem be with voting for George Bush? He is for the innocent, from the womb to the tomb, I see them both as opportunists, but I am with the one who is with God.

Yes many of innocent people have been killed in the Iraq War, but to keep America defense going, it was a necessity at the time, and I agree with Mr. Bush.

Since the world is coming to an end, and since the earth is having Birthing Pangs warning the People to come back to God or else, Hell will await for us.

Is it not more important to vote for a man that is God loving, pro-family and pro-life, since the world is coming to its end. Who do you really say that God would want?

We are told if we vote for any pro-choice candidate we are excommunicated and cannot receive Holy Communion. What is our choice then? To be excommunicated and not receive the Sacraments? Only common sense, and most of all My Faith, tells me that to vote for the candidate for life, pray and family.

DETAILS

All issues raised in the above letter were addressed already by us (1) on a timely basis; even, why God allowed Mr. Bush to be re-elected with a virtual overwhelming mandate (2). The problem in said letter lies in the three phrases we are reproducing below.

“...and the end is coming soon.”
“...and since the world is coming to an end...”
“Since the world is coming to an end...”

What is it going to take for us to get across to the world, through our readers, that: THE WORLD IS NOT COMING TO AND END?

The above writer is concerned about everything else that “appears” just right and wrong, however, said writer has fallen for one of the most deadly snares of satan: “The belief that the world is coming to and end.”

This is precisely what satan wants people to believe because as THE END OF THESE TIMES (3) approaches, it will indeed appear that the real end of the world is at hand and people will despair.

The controlled press is brainwashing people with the same ease (4) a key daily newspaper in a minor (by world standards) country fooled the world – including NASA.

Between the brainwashing techniques (5) being applied on a worldwide scale and the plague of denial of reality (6), satan is having a Field Day. We have heard people, who wish to remain in the state of denial, but are hedging their bets, say: “I hope I am killed in the first wave.” (this is referring to Step No.1 (3))

To these we say: Purgatory is REAL. Time in Purgatory is REAL TIME —that is— a year or 1000 years detained in Purgatory is like either one or 1,000 years in the flesh. In Purgatory all that the souls can do is pray for the benefit of others (still in the flesh) and wait until their sentence is completed and/or that someone, still in the flesh, has the charity to pray for their repose so that the length of their sentence is reduced with whatever indulgences are secured by those prayers and acts of reparation (7).

Therefore, those who pray to be “taken in the first wave” should be more concerned about getting their accounts with God in order so that their stay in Purgatory is minimized. Remember, all that “being taken in the first wave” is going to do for them is to strip them of the possibility of praying for themselves and get their accounts with God in order, while placing themselves at the mercy of the charity of those still in the flesh. Considering how quickly Charity is dying (8) amongst the “Christians”, there may be a better chance for hell to freeze over than having their stay in Purgatory significantly reduced.

About Purgatory

The reality of Purgatory is part of the Faith Deposit of the Catholic Faith as clearly expressed through the treasury of Indulgences (7).

This reality has clear foundation within the New Testament, i.e.

Matthew 5:25-26:

Agree with thine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way with him; lest at any time the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge
deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison. Verily I say unto thee, Thou shalt by no means come out thence, till thou hast paid the uttermost farthing.

and more clearly expressed:

Luke 12:54-59:

And he said also to the people, When ye see a cloud rise out of the west, straightway ye say, There cometh a shower; and so it is. And when ye see the south wind blow, ye say, There will be heat; and it cometh to pass. Ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky and of the earth; but how is it that ye do not discern this time? Yea, and why even of yourselves judge ye not what is right?

When thou goest with thine adversary to the magistrate, as thou art in the way, give diligence that thou mayest be delivered from him; lest he hale thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and the officer cast thee into prison. I tell thee, thou shalt not depart thence, till thou hast paid the very last mite.

Old Testament

Within the Old Testament there are several examples/teachings of praying for the dead as well as the encouragement to offer alms for the benefit of the dead. Obviously, the only benefit that could be realized by the dead through such actions would be a shortening of their stay in Purgatory; thus, by clear inference, Judaism has such a place as part of their beliefs.

A Note from miguel de Portugal about Purgatory: Before, I “believed” in Purgatory as most “Catholics believe”. A “ho-hum” belief that is more an offense to God than the disbelief of those who do not acknowledge Purgatory because it is not part of their particular faith’s creed. Now, I “know” the reality of Purgatory and encourage one and all to seek such salutary conviction from God.

Without using the fancy words of those “book learned” theologians who are more interested in “making a buck” using God than to fathom the depths of His Creation, allow me to tell you about Purgatory:

(a) “Time” in Purgatory is like “Time” for those in the flesh. A “minute”, is a minute and a “century” is a century. Purgatory does not fall in the Eternity time frame (9). Only Heaven and Hell fall in such category.

(b) It is a place where the unpaid debts to Divine Justice are paid in the same coinage the debt was contracted. Using terms that fallen humanity understands well: If your debt to Divine Justice is in U.S. Dollars, you must pay for it in U.S. Dollars; if in European Union Euros, it must be paid in Euros; if in Japanese Yens, it must be paid in Japanese Yens; etc.

(c) The expiatory suffering takes the form of: Witnessing the suffering caused upon others as the result of the offenses committed against God by the particular soul in Purgatory.

(d) All of the above takes place with a greatness awareness of the joy that awaits the soul once it enters Heaven. (Understand this additional suffering as follows: When you are hungry, it is easier to bear the hunger so long no one is talking about delicious food or you are not witnessing others feast on a sumptuous meal.) Also, one’s awareness of the Goodness of God is so enhanced, that the pain of having offended someone Who loves you so is very hard to endure.

(e) Divine Justice and the “Sentence” handed down by It can only be tempered —that is, reduced— through the Mercy of God (10) moved by the prayers of those who are still in the flesh, and, above all, the prayers and intercessions of His Most Holy Mother (11).

[Suggested Invocations: “Oh, Jesus! Hear our petitions, for the sake of the tears of Your Most Holy Mother.” and “Oh, Jesus! Look upon the tears of Her, Who loved You most while on earth and Who loves You most intimately in Heaven.”]

My those who have ears, “Hear!” (12) and those who have eyes, “See!” (13) what needs to be heard and seen before it becomes too late (14).

CONCLUSION

We shall conclude this document with two humorous, but very appropriate, communications that reached us in the past. They are very funny until we see ourselves in the “mirror” they represent.

I.– The Power of Prayer

A tale is told about a small town that had historically been “dry”, but then a local businessman decided to build a tavern. A group of Christians from a local church were concerned and planned an all-night prayer meeting to ask God to intervene.

It just so happened that shortly thereafter lightning struck the bar and it burned to the ground.

The owner of the bar sued the church, claiming that the prayers of the congregation were responsible, but the church hired a lawyer to argue in court that they were not responsible.

The presiding judge, after his initial review of the case, stated that: “No matter how this case comes out, one thing is clear: The tavern owner believes in prayer and the Christians do not.”
