NOTE: Please be advised that the Warning, Miracle and Sign announced at the time of the Garabandal phenomena at San Sebastián de Garabandal, Spain, between 1961 and 1965 will not come to pass in the manner in that they were announced then. However, the Chastisement certainly will occur.

The world is heading, without further ado, directly into (1) the Chastisement, which was announced in Garabandal and Akita (2), and which we have independently confirmed several times since 1992.

INTRODUCTION

Since the apparitions of Garabandal ended in 1965, visionaries Conchita, Mari Loli and Jacinta have, from time to time, granted interviews in which they have revealed what they can remember and are able to say about the coming worldwide Warning, Miracle, Sign and Chastisement. In each of these interviews, although the same questions are frequently asked about the event, it often happens that new or supportive information, or a different perspective, comes to light.

We must also keep in mind that the visionaries reported what they claim to recall they saw and heard - at one time or another. This, however, does not assure that the conclusions drawn about what they saw and/or heard are correct, due to the complexity of the subject matter - a complex matter which is being projected through simple and uneducated minds.

One area that is consistently glossed over is the Chastisement. As a matter of fact, some of its components have been even blended in with the events associated with the Warning.

Why is this? Simply because the Faithful do not want to hear negative information; they want to hear the Fairy Tale stories of the Holy Pope and Great Monarch which will lead the world, by riding like conquering heroes, into a Happily Ever After Sunset.

Since Marian Apparitions have been reduced to a business, the profiteers do not want to upset the Faithful into not spending money.

DETAILS

The most information that could be found about the Chastisement that is practically upon us is what we reproduce now below:

Further information from Mari Loli was contained in a message written at the end of 1967 to a Mexican priest, Fr. Gustavo Morelos, bearing her signature (Now in possession of Mrs. Carmela (Maria) Saraco of California, formerly of Brockton, Mass. [Published in Ramón Pérez' "The Village Speaks" (pp 57-58) and "El Pueblo Habla" (p 141)] (3)

Then the Virgin made us see how a great Chastisement would come upon mankind and that this Chastisement would come directly from God.

At a certain time, not a single motor or machine will operate; a terrible heat wave will come down on the earth and men will start experiencing a great thirst; they will search desperately for water, but due to the great heat, the water will evaporate. Then most people will fall into despair and will try to kill one another..... but they will not have the strength to do it; they will fall to the ground, one after another. That is when they will realize that it is God who justly permits all this.

Finally we saw a number of people enveloped in flames. They were running to throw themselves into the sea and the lakes, but as they would enter the water, the water seemed to boil and instead of putting out the flames, would make them worse.

It was so horrible that I asked the Blessed Virgin to take with her our little so that this would not happen to them. But the Virgin told us that when this day comes, the children will have already grown....

And that is it!

We had not dwelt very much on the literature about Garabandal and the Chastisement because miguel de Portugal knew that a Chastisement was a reality since God called him in 1991 to leave all behind and follow Him.... precisely to do all that was possible to cushion it.

We did look into this issue now because of recent revelations to miguel de Portugal regarding a Warning-turned-into-Chastisement and what appears to be the mechanism that God may use (4). The more closely we looked at this matter, many things became apparent - up to and including the literature about the Warning. The main item is:

In accordance with the book of Ramón Pérez, "The Village Speaks" (pp 29-30) ("El Pueblo Habla" (pp 37-38), which is the most comprehensive recompilation of the Garabandal events: on January 1, 1965 the Virgin Mary revealed, for the first time ever and to Conchita alone, while at the Pines, the information regarding the Warning. During the same apparition the Virgin Mary revealed the nature of the Chastisement.

The seriousness of this anomaly is that the only other reported communications between the Virgin Mary and any of the visionaries after January 1st, 1965, were as follows:

+ On June 18, 1965, St. Michael the Archangel delivers the final message from the Virgin Mary to Conchita.
+ On October 24, 1965, Mari Loli has a locution from the Virgin Mary letting her know that she will have many doubts as to what she saw and heard.
+ On November 13, 1965, the Virgin Mary appears to Conchita for the last time.

Where then did Mari Loli and Jacinta get the information about the Warning? The only value that may be placed in their comments about the Warning - regardless of their claims - would be that of hearsay and not that of primary witnesses. We therefore recommend that they be ignored unless someone, with greater historical authority than Ramón Pérez, can prove to us otherwise.

CONCLUSION

Beware of the avalanche of misinformation that swirls around the Internet, about which John warned us in the Book of Revelations [12:15-16]. As we have been saying since 1992, you may certainly count on a Chastisement greater than what we know as Noah's Flood. However, we still have in our hands the opportunity to somewhat cushion its horrific severity.
