No one can simultaneously serve
Mammon (the world and money) and also God
A theological treatise exposing the
great doctrinal fallacy of the Opus Dei
The falsification of Christianity

PROLOGUE
Regardless of the level of faith of the reader, the lack of coherence
between what the apparently ultra conservative Roman Catholic groups (2)
pretend to uphold and the teachings of Christ (3)
constitutes the most revealing factor of their true motives.

PURPOSE
When a father disciplines his loving child his central message should
be directed to correct the reason for such disciplinary action.
Our Heavenly Father, Who is Perfect and Infinite in all His attributes,
wishes that His children understand, in its totality, the reason for
His disciplinary actions, past, present and future. Actions
which He allows [not causes, but allows] in an ever increasing
frequency and severity. Such is the purpose of this document.
Praised by our Heavenly Father for He is Just and Merciful!
DETAILS
Hypothesis
Let us propose three hypothetical questions: (a) Why will the
(new) Biblical Babylon fall?; (b) Why do its foundations rest
on sandy soil; (c) Who were (or are) the Architects and
Engineers of (the new) Babylon?
Citing St. Paul and expounding on the Biblical commentaries of
Monsignor Straubinger (4a), we can discern the
answers to such questions and, thus, demonstrate the Fundamental Thesis.
Fundamental Thesis
Proclaimed by Jesus Christ and transmitted by St. Matthew:
"...You cannot serve God and
mammon (the world and money)." (5)
The Basis
In the First Letter to Timothy, Chapter 6, (4b)
we are warned by S. Paul that:
[3] If any man teach otherwise,
and consent not to the sound words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to
that doctrine which is according to godliness, [4] he is proud, knowing
nothing, but sick about questions and strifes of words; from which
arise... [5] conflicts of men corrupted in mind, and who are destitute
of the truth, supposing gain to be godliness. ... [9] For they that
will become rich, fall into temptation, and into the snare of the
devil, and into many unprofitable and hurtful desires which drown men
into destruction and perdition. [1Tim. 6]
The Error
That doctrine "which is according to godliness" does not dwell
on the material (6). The apostasy of Babylon (7)
precisely consists on that worldly attitude (8)
which places God primarily as an agent of temporal goods and which
transforms the opportunity for eternal life, provided by Jesus Christ,
into a program of purely human values. Values centered about the
objectives of: Economic well being, Cultural Advancement (9),
Political Influence (10) and
Ecclesiastic Control (11).
Having [the world / the faithful] been conquered by the ambition of the
material, which today seems to be the ideal of so many of the otherwise
well intentioned faithful, (12) St. Paul shows
that, not only one's conduct is endangered, but also the faith. This
should not surprise us since the love for money is idolatry (13).
From this it readily follows that the faith is reduced to a mere shadow
which only serves to further offend God: "But yet the Son of man,
when he cometh, shall he find, think you, faith on earth?" (14)
Why so few men retire from the work force even when they do not need
more material goods? Why are there so many consecrated souls who run
after vain honors trying to cover themselves with worldly glory? (15)
In both cases because their lives are spiritually empty; they feel
naked and are frightened not knowing how to fill their lives and how to
cover their nakedness.
Who has propagated such error? How has it been disseminated?
Those who are destitute of the Truth teach the enticing concept that gain
is equivalent to godliness.
The quoted passage from the First Letter to Timothy is directed to
those who subtly preach with the objective to make financial
gains, confounding the simple with their pious appearance so that all
be directed to their own material gain. It is imperative to avoid
mixing godliness and business (16). This is why
St. Paul illustrates to his beloved disciple what is meant by true
godliness of the apostles (17).
Benedict XV (1914-22) severely criticizes the preachers who "deal
in so many worldly things that all they have of sacredness is the place
where the preaching is done", and adds: (18)
«It happens that frequently they
progress from the exposition of the eternal truths into politics,
especially if that captivates more the attention of the audience. It
appears that they have only one ambition: To please the audience. These
are the ones which St. Paul refers to as audience pleasers (19).»
«That is the reason for: (a) The
histrionics of many preachers; (b) The use of terminology customary in
newspapers; (c) The many quotations from books written by the
unfaithful and not from the Sacred Scriptures nor the writings from the
Founding Fathers' writings.» - That is, simply to please the
audiences and to encourage them to empty their pockets in the
many virtual collection plates.
The conduct of the holy apostles Peter and Paul will always be the
model for us, just as it is prayed for in the Preface of the Apostles.
We must emulate their examples (15), since "Jesus
Christ, yesterday, and to day; and the same for ever" (22).
The Price
Using religion as an effective means to conduct business, and do so
under the cover of godliness, as did the silversmiths of Ephesus (23),
or the priests of Bel (24), or like the ones of
Israel who forced kings Joash and Jehoash to divert the moneys from the
cult (25), is an abomination in the Eyes of
God. Its duplicity (26) is the rejection of
His Majesty and the mockery of His Love. These actions, in effect,
place Him, the Supreme Goodness, at the service of the miserly
interests of the moment. Be them financial or political.
We should remember that it was precisely this Error which caused our
Heavenly Father to allow the release of the anti clerical virus
using the French (27) and Bolshevik (28)
Revolutions, the Spanish Civil War, etc. as the contaminating vehicles.
Nothing seems to have been learned through the human suffering caused
by the anticlerical virus except to be discreet and act
from the shadows as The Prelature of the Holy Cross and Opus Dei (29),
Regnum Christi and other sect-like groups (30)
within the Roman Catholic Church, teach to their members to be.
Therefore, our Heavenly Father, in a magnificent display of His Mercy,
will assist us, this time in a definite and final way (31),
to learn what we refuse to learn: To live in accordance to the
Divine Law, serving God and not Mammon.
Whatever is built upon sandy foundations will collapse, just as we were
warned it would: Be it nation; be it organization; be it religious
congregation; be it Personal Prelature; be it man. Everything.
By the Grace of God the Church - composed by the Mystical Body of
Christ - will not ultimately succumb (32); but
woes to those who, from its very womb, milk it as if it were a Sacred
Cow for their own personal and worldly benefit under the cover of false
piety and corrupt theology (33).
EPILOGUE (Added on April 2005)
St. John Bosco (Founder of the Salesian Order) proved how the
application of the Gospel of Jesus Christ worked and moved mountains without
having to resort to physical levers such as money and political power.
In an Italy which had become rabid anticlerical at this time, his work
flourished in an unprecedented manner because it was truly the Work of
God. He was even assisted in his work by the same government which was
stripping the Vatican of its temporal powers and assets. The Hallmark
of a truly Divine enterprise.
There is no doubt: the False Christ is to Christ what Josemaría Escrivá
is to St. John Bosco! (34)(35)(36)

(23) Acts 19:24-28 - «For a certain man named Demetrius, a
silversmith, who made silver temples for Diana, brought no small gain
to the craftsmen; Whom he calling together, with the workmen of like
occupation, said: Sirs, you know that our gain is by this trade; And
you see and hear, that this Paul by persuasion hath drawn away a great
multitude, not only of Ephesus, but almost of all Asia, saying: They
are not gods which are made by hands. So that not only this our craft
is in danger to be set at nought, but also the temple of great Diana
shall be reputed for nothing; yea, and her majesty shall begin to be
destroyed, whom all Asia and the world worshippeth. Having heard these
things, they were full of anger, and cried out, saying: Great is Diana
of the Ephesians.»
(24) Dan 14:1-21 - «... [2] Now the Babylonians had an idol
called Bel: and there were spent upon him every day twelve great
measures of fine flour, and forty sheep, and sixty vessels of wine. [3]
The king also worshipped him, and went every day to adore him: but
Daniel adored his God. And the king said to him: Why dost thou not
adore Bel? ... [9] Now the priests of Bel were seventy, besides their
wives, and little ones, and children. And the king went with Daniel
into the temple of Bel. ... [18] And Daniel laughed: and he held the
king that he should not go in: and he said: Behold the pavement, mark
whose footsteps these are. ... [20] Then he took the priests, and their
wives, and their children: and they shewed him the private doors by
which they came in, and consumed the things that were on the table.
[21] The king therefore put them to death, and delivered Bel into the
power of Daniel: who destroyed him, and his temple.»
(25) 2Kings 12:4-8 - «And Joas said to the priests: ...Why

people, and to make the repairs of the house. » || 2Kings 22:4
