Points to Ponder About

November 2005

Previous Month Next Month Archive

The purpose of Points to Ponder About was to stimulate thinking that would draw the disoriented Faithful back to God and away from the hypocritical duplicity of some religious institutions which are destroying the little faith left on earth. (For a more detailed explanation, see Points to Ponder About - Purpose). What used to be posted in this section has been integrated in For Your Information and Reference.

Note: This 'Point to Ponder About' section was prepared in the years 2005-2009. Some linked documents external to this domain may have been removed from the Net, or moved to different locations, since then.

Do you wonder why... if the Vatican thinks homosexuals are such a high moral risk in the priesthood they do not immediately defrock all homosexual priests, Bishops, Archbishops and Cardinals? Temporal and spiritual logic would support the notion that someone who is a risk, becomes a greater one the greater his authority over others is.

In other words - the mockery of God by those who claim to serve Him and represent Him continues. Nothing has changed nor will change until God steps in and allow upon them what He allowed upon the Temple of Jerusalem in the 1st Century - something we truly look forward to for they have caused enough harm upon humanity already.

Do you ever wonder why... we, who owe all to God - literally ALL - make such an issue of Thanksgiving Day in the US?

We should be ashamed that we take only one day out of 365 days to Thank God - something that we do not even do properly since the Parishes generally cut down their Mass Schedules on that day so that the families stay home, gorge on food they do not really need while forgetting those who have much less and who die by the millions because they are too poor to survive.

Brethren, make sure that you have something in your hands to show God when you are unexpectedly called to His presence.... and make sure that it is not Pumpkin Pie!

Do you ever wonder... what John, the Beloved Disciple, meant when he informed us thus: "Here is wisdom. He that hath understanding, let him count the number of a man : and the number of him is six hundred sixty-six." [Rev. 13:18] ?

Obviously St. John did not expect the children of God to engage in complicated mathematical derivations to identify its source as well as its precursor. It wouldhave to be so obvious that only a child-like mind would spot it.

The number in question is "666". As we have illustrated in various documents, José María Escrivá, founder of the Opus Dei, under the cover of false piety, gave the world his "way" - the famous little booklet that he composed to falsify the true and only Way - (the teachings of) Jesus Christ. This booklet is in essence the "bible" of the Escrivites and it so happens to be composed of 999 maxims.

Of course, it could be argued that "999" is the opposite of "666", yet, they are exactly the same when Escriva's falsification of the very foundation of Christianity is taken into consideration.

May those of have Eyes, See, and Ears, Hear.....

Do you ever wonder... why if the central and essential message of the Qur'an (Islam's equivalent of the Bible) was for the Christians of the time to follow and obey the teachings of Jesus and for the Jews to also recognize the teachings of Jesus and incorporate them in their beliefs - we have been at each others throats for 1400 years?

Because that is satan's plan. Today - Islamic terrorists; Yesterday - the Crusades. It is all the same with different packaging because man is blind enough to not recognize the difference. Imagine, taking the serpent's advise over God's! [Genesis 3: 1-6]

Do you ever wonder... why if Jesus stated...

"Amen, amen I say to you, he that believeth in me, the works that I do, he also shall do; and greater than these shall he do. Because I go to the Father: and whatsoever you shall ask the Father in my name, that will I do: that the Father may be glorified in the Son." [John 14: 12-13]

...when you look around the world, after millions upon millions of Masses and millions upon millions of Rosaries, all you see is that we are rapidly "going to hell in a hand basket"?

The above statement is not a mistranslation since the same message, presented in different manners, may be read in other parts of the New Testament.

So, did Jesus lie? Of course not! For He also stated....

"If you had faith like a grain of mustard seed, you might say to this mulberry tree, Be thou rooted up, and be thou transplanted into the sea: and it would obey you." [Luke 17:6]

Thus, the fault is not Jesus'; the fault is our lack of Faith in Jesus. One can go to "zillion" of Masses and offer "quinquillion" of Rosaries but it is Faith that really matters. Did not Jesus kept repeating, every time He healed someone: "Your Faith has healed you"?

Brethren, exactly "What part of this you cannot understand"? Faith is not obtained at the nearest Shopping Mall nor absorbed by osmosis by sitting through a Mass or a Rosary - Faith in God is obtained through prayerful request to God - the only One Who can grant such Grace. No Church can!

No, you just can't ask, then "snap your fingers" and "presto!" you are "full of Faith". Did not we also read that "...Jesus advanced in wisdom, and age, and grace with God and men" after Joseph and Mary found Him at the Temple engaged in theological discussions with the doctors at the Temple of Jerusalem? [Luke 2: 46-52]

The more we advance in Grace, the more we become Jesus like; the more we become Jesus like, the more we can act as He did because He promised so.

This is exactly why the Church He established failed, and those who claim to be the Saviors of the Church and mankind, are making the same mistake. The choice is totally yours - Do you really believe in Jesus? Even if you do not... Do you want to believe in Jesus? Ask, and "ye shall receive" and the Father will see you Home, right here in this Earth. Why wait when you can start tasting and enjoying Eternity now before even crossing the veil?
Believe in God! and He shall set you free!

Did you say that you are not worth it? That such wonders are only for good people (whatever "good people" means to you)? That God is too busy with more important issues than to worry about someone "worthless and unimportant" like you? Do not keep falling for satan's oldest trick! When you take that attitude, incited by satan, you are actually blocking God's action in your soul. You are important! Jesus died for you too! Shake off induced negativism and embrace the cross - you will be surprised at the wonderful results!

Do you wonder... why Benedict XVI appointed Archbishop Levada Prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith given his proven and well documented background?

Levada answered that question himself in his most extensive interview yet. Levada told Vatican Radio that the fact that the Congregation now oversees
issues of sexual abuse by clergy, "that given ... the explosion of that on the American scene over the past few years, my experience with that ... may have said to him it wouldn't be bad to have someone also who has this experience.."

We wish to express our gratitude to Archbishop Levada and Vatican Radio for making the discharge of miguel de Portugal's and our function this easy. Anyone who blindly place the future of their souls in the hands of these people - without first testing their spirit, on a case by case basis - certainly deserve what their future will be. Therefore, we must pray for those who have Eyes to See so that they may shake off the slumber they are still entrapped in and act upon the nauseus reality we are all facing.
