Do you wonder.... how private and/or how secure your computer is - or, for that matter, your life is? Wonder no more.
Quoting from an article published on 1999 - Careless mistake reveals subversion of Windows by NSA (1):
According
to
Fernandez of Cryptonym, the result of having the secret key inside your
Windows operating system "is that it is tremendously easier for the NSA
to load unauthorized security services on all copies of Microsoft
Windows, and once these security services are loaded, they can
effectively compromise your entire operating system". The NSA key is
contained inside all versions of Windows from Windows 95 OSR2 onwards.
and
Fernandez
believes that NSA's built-in loophole can be turned round against the
snoopers. The NSA key inside CAPI can be replaced by your own key, and
used to sign cryptographic security modules from overseas or
unauthorised third parties, unapproved by Microsoft or the NSA. This is
exactly what the US government has been trying to prevent. A
demonstration "how to do it" program that replaces the NSA key can be
found on Cryptonym's
Another "conspiracy theory" busted... ...and that was even before the Bush Administration......

Do you wonder.... what kind of theo-logic the Roman Catholic Church uses to condemn abortion under any circumstance (1) - with which we fully agree - while at the same time it appears that it accepts or justifies a "just war" (2) - considering that both are fundamented on the clear Divine Command: Thou shalt not kill?
The misconception is primarily due to the fact that the popular interpretation of "just war" has been stretched - as it is usual - beyond recognition. A review of the referred to paragraphs (2) will attest to that.
We do not approve of war under any circumstances but also recognize that to take that stand it requires a level of Faith than only a successful Evangelization effort would achieve or a direct Divine intervention in a soul.

Do you wonder.... what is exactly the "oil" that Jesus speaks about in the Parable of the Ten Virgins? [Matthew 25: 1-11]
As you may recall, when the groom arrived only five virgins had "oil for the lamps" and five did not. The five which did not have said "oil" went to the suppliers to get some but it was too late for them. Upon their return the doors had already been closed.
Jesus concluded the Parable with the following statement: 13 Watch ye therefore, because you know not the day nor the hour
Wonder no more! Behold the "oil":
34
Then shall the king say to them that
shall be on his right hand: Come, ye blessed of my Father, possess you
the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. 35 For I
was hungry, and you gave me to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave me to
drink; I was a stranger, and you took me in:
36 Naked, and you covered me: sick, and you visited me: I was in prison, and you came to me. 37 Then shall the just answer him, saying: Lord, when did we see thee hungry, and fed thee; thirsty, and gave thee drink? 38 And when did we see thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and covered thee? 39 Or when did we see thee sick or in prison, and came to thee? 40 And the king answering, shall say to them: Amen I say to you, as long as you did it to one of these my least brethren, you did it to me. [Matthew 25]
You see, when the bridegroom or the king, a.k.a. Jesus Christ returns (or one goes to meet Him by expiring before the Second Coming) there is no time to go back and quickly "fill our hands" with good deeds - the "oil". It will be entirely too late.
What's the grumbling we hear in the back of the room about His Mercy? Indeed His Mercy knows no limit but that is reserved for those who knew no better because of the failed Evangelization; however, the five virgins with no oil in their lamps knew better, otherwise they would not have been waiting for Him with (empty) lamps in hand.
Allow us to remind one and all not to bank with careless abandon on His Mercy. That can only be done when we have fully done our part. Not as the Church Administration did (1) regarding the crystal clear AND simple instructions given through the Fatima events.

Do you wonder.... if the science fiction concept of artificially induced earthquakes is just that: Pure Science fiction?
No need to wonder about this anymore. Prayerfully review the following well referenced report, courtesy of our dear IC, and meditate on all its possible ramifications:
In answer
to the
question of whether Nikola Tesla did any research into artificially
induced earthquakes, the answer would be a qualified “yes”.
Nikola Tesla, as you are aware, was a prolific inventor. U.S. Patent No. 514,169, Tesla's Reciprocating Engine (1), formed the basis of what he would later call telegeodynamics (2). With it, one could find underground ore or oil deposits via the vibrations generated by his machine which he referred to as a “controlled earthquake”. (3) There are several stories of an experiment that Tesla did around 1888 wherein he secured a version of his device to a metal beam in his building, the device supposedly was small enough to be hidden in a coat, and resulted in the building as well as the surrounding area to be shaken as if it were experiencing an earthquake. Apparently, the situation became alarming enough that the police were called in and they arrived just in time to witness Tesla smashing his machine to pieces with a sledge hammer. (4)
How much progress did he make in this field? Not much, it seems. While he was confident that he could put his theories in this area to use, aside from telegeodynamics he also envisioned a world-wide telephony network wherein one would be able to transmit sound as well as video through the earth (5), he never quite got around to it, his energies and finances having been exhausted in other projects. Monied interests as well as the incredulity of most people and his own pacifist nature, seemed to be the most effective barriers to his inventive aspirations. It is worth noting however, that Tesla himself stated that he believed he could split the Earth in two were he so inclined. And that it would only take him a few weeks to vibrate the Earth's crust to such an extent that it would rise and fall hundreds of feet and effectively end civilization as we know it. (6)

Do you wonder.... why you now hear so much about Catholicism in the US as well as about the never ending Pilgrimages to Marian Apparition sites, yet, from the the political, natural and social events of the last ten to twenty years one may surmise that God seems to have forgotten the US?
The answer is quite simple: According to Gallup Poll trends (1) on church attendance among American Christians, weekly attendance among Protestants has been fairly steady over the past six decades, averaging 42% in 1955 versus 45% in the middle of the current decade. However, attendance among Roman Catholics dropped from 75% to 45% over the same period.
As we have said before: Talk is cheap; we must live/walk the talk. There are no substitute for the benefit of the Sacraments, prayers and sacrifices.
But, let us not run around in circles blaming Vatican II or worse yet, ask God to account for His absence a la Ratzinger (2). Once the graph published by Gallup is reviewed it becomes quite obvious that the drop started well before Vatican II.

Do you wonder.... why the "spontaneous" demonstrations against the "rubber stamp" G-20 Financial Summit in London were mild-to-boring, whereas the NATO Summit drew the "spontaneous wrath of and enraged public"?
Because what was needed to make the necessary changes (for the New International Order) in the financial sector of the world has already been set into motion: The collapse of the worldwide financial system. Now, the public will accept practically anything without the necessity of staged street mob theatrics.
However, to introduce Phase II of the program - the Worldwide Police State - the world population still needs to be scared witless before they would happily agree to the installation of security cameras in every toilet stall of the world, were that necessary for the masters of the New International Order.
It is really very simple to discern if one is not submerged in the usual sea of denial humaniy is well known for.

Do you wonder.... how the US and the forced-into allies plan to win the war against the Taliban in Afghanistan which is fueled by a mixture of religious fanaticism and drug trade of a planetary scope and it cannot even make a dent in the drug trafficking, with all its nefarious consequences and prime TV coverage, through the US-Mexico border?
Well, we do too....

Do you wonder.... why in a recent communication we stated: "Not only we ask our children to fight a ridiculous and bloody war (against "terrorism"), a war that will never be won,..." ? Allow us to explain.
One must go to the origin of the Islamist extremist terrorist attacks: They do not want the US to "pollute" their countries. Iran itself labeled the US as the "Great Satan" decades ago.
Unfortunately, the US political leaders cannot understand how to exert influence in a country without making it "like the US" in all aspects. For example: When you walk into the main shopping mall in Ankara (Turkey's capital) - if one ignores the writing in a foreign language one could think the location was New York, Houston or Orange County (California). Fortunately, the Turkish society, although mostly Muslim, is rather open and without extremes. However, that same shopping mall (and display windows) may not be acceptable in Kabul or Baghdad. We could write pages upon pages of examples which are more subtle yet more dramatic.
Therefore - what we are facing is a system-rejection phenomena which may or may not be justified (depending whom you ask), but exists just the same. In this case, those who are doing the rejecting use God as their reason and are willing to die (human bombs) just as the early Christian Martyrs who, for totally different reasons, believed that they were Glorifying God by becoming martyrs in the early centuries of Christianity.
Therefore, given an "irresistible force" - religious fanaticism until death, encountering an "unmovable object" - a refusal by Western Powers to change their methods to better influence said Muslim countries, will only yield more terrorism and greater reprisals until one or the other acknowledges defeat. Now, the question is: Which one?
Consider the following - during the Viet Nam war, the driving force behind the North Vietnamese was considerably less than the driving force generated by religious fanaticism; man has not change an iota in 6,000 years; therefore, the "human rules", with the consequential outcome, that applied in the Viet Nam war still apply.
Mercifully, God will step in before humanity destroys itself to the joy of satan - nonetheless - there will be rivers of blood flowing before all will come to a brutal stop.
As we wrote on September 19, 2001 - Terrorism IS NOT the problem; the problem is Religious Fanaticism. The "brilliant and illuminated" world leaders have not caught on yet that they are fighting the wrong enemy thus using ALL the wrong weapons.
