PURPOSE
The purposes of this document are to: (a)
Once again illustrate the perfect coherence within the Holy Scriptures
if read and understood (1)
the way they were meant to be; and (b)
Reveal to humanity how God determines who makes up His Elect - all the
way from the time He "breathed into his face the breath of
life, and man became a living soul" to the time just after "he (satan) must be loosed a little time"
before the end of the Created Universe. (Gen. 2:7; Rev 20:3)
INTRODUCTION
In our document Creation vs Evolution - Part 2 (2) we explained that:
Man seemed to have evolved essentially
as all other species. Then, when God deemed that "man" had reached "the
right point" in its evolution, He breathed into a select group His
Spirit. Now, this select group of "man" (who had been another
animal species up to this
point), became a totally different creature: he was now the
Image of God, "male and female He
created them".
Now God guided this select group of "Adams and Eves" towards a special
place we know as Paradise or Garden of Eden. The rest of the non
selected "mankind" remained outside.
At this point we have the first, the fundamental, group of Elect - the
"First Cut".
DETAILS
Once Adam and Eve, i.e. the selected group, broke their covenant with
God by falling into satan's trap, they were thrown out from Paradise to live among those from whom they
had been selected. Nonetheless, they were truly and uniquely
different - they had been given the Spirit of God and had become
living souls. As we read in Genesis Chapter 3:
21
And the Lord God made for Adam and his wife, garments of skins, and
clothed them. 22 And he said: Behold Adam is become as one of us,
knowing good and evil: now, therefore, lest perhaps he put forth his
hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for
ever... 24 And he cast out Adam; and placed before the paradise
of pleasure Cherubim, and a flaming sword, turning every way, to keep
the way of the tree of life.
In spite of their fall, God continued to look after His remnant, since
they now carried His Spirit.
Then, the colonization of the rest of the world commenced through
migratory waves composed of men and women created in His Image. Over
time, mankind proved to God, beyond the shadow of a doubt, that it
simply could not understand how God wanted it to live. Nor could
mankind subdue Creation in a constructive manner, as God had intended.
Perhaps living amongst (but not genetically mixing with) the
non-selected "mankind" was hampering His people (the descendants of the
exiles from Eden) from fulfilling His Will.
Perhaps the interbreeding of the sons of God with the daughters of men (3) was disrupting the
Divine Plan.
Obviously it was time to purge the world of the non select ones,
as well as the descendants of the mixed breed [of sons of God and
daughters of men]. Noah, and what his story truly symbolizes, enters in
the picture.
Regarding the Great Flood on an archeological/cultural context....
The story of a Great Flood sent by God
[or the local deities depending on the local faiths] to destroy
civilization as an act of divine retribution is a widespread theme in
myths. The stories of Noah and his ark in Genesis, Matsya in the
Puranas scriptures of Hinduism, and Utnapishtim in the Epic of
Gilgamesh are among the most familiar versions of these myths. A large
percentage of the world's cultures past and present have stories of a
"great flood" that devastated an earlier civilization.
Now, we have a further refined group of Elect - only those who survived
the the global cataclysm that is symbolized by Great Flood - the
"Second Cut".
Eventually God reduces the group of the Elect further by making a
covenant with Abram:
And
the Lord said to Abram: Go forth out of thy country, and from thy
kindred, and out of thy father's house, and come into the land which I
shall shew thee. And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will
bless thee, and magnify thy name, and thou shalt be blessed. (Gen.
12:1-2)
That is, Abram (who eventually was renamed Abraham) and his descendants
would now be the new Elect ones. Abraham begets Isaac; Isaac begets
Jacob and Jacob, renamed Israel begets twelve sons - the foundation of
the twelve tribes of Israel - the "Third Cut".
Eventually, the tribe of Judah became the new Elect group:
And
it came to pass when all Israel heard that Jeroboam was come again,
that they gathered an assembly, and sent and called him, and made him
king over all Israel, and there was none that followed the house of
David but the tribe of Juda only. (1 Kings:20)
This is the "Fourth Cut" of the Elect - the tribe of Judah - now, the
House of Israel.
Then, Jesus, the Messiah arrives in the scene. The Elect of the time -
the Temple Masters and their subjects - reject the Messiah and crucify
Him. Once the (then current) Elect rejected the Savior - the One
Who would have led them back to Paradise - God, once again, redefined who
was among the Elect. Now, the Elect group would include anyone
who acknowledged and received Jesus as the true Messiah. This was
the "Fifth Cut" of the Elect.
Two thousand years go by, and, after a failed Evangelization, the world
is heading to its total destruction. Mary is sent by God several times
with instructions and warnings. The Temple Masters of today (the
Roman Catholic Church Administration) - like those in the time of Jesus
- ignore the instructions and warnings (4). As a
result, the world continues to plunge into the abyss.
In one of the most comprehensive manifestations of Mary - Garabandal (5) - She announces that
there is going to be a Warning (6)
from Heaven in an effort for mankind - as a whole - not only Christians
- to see the state of its soul and make the necessary amends.
Then, within a short period, a Miracle/Sign (7) will confirm to all
of mankind the reality of God and the Warning He sent.
Regardless of the faith professed by individuals before Warning
and Miracle/Sign - those who acknowledge that said events were from God
and accept Jesus as the True Messiah will now become the new Elect -
the "Sixth Cut".
The rest of humanity will be dispensed of Rev 19: 16-21
by the ensuing Chastisement. This will be a global cataclysm
greater than the one symbolized by Noah's Flood. However, as God
promised to Noah, He will not use water again to cleanse the world of
the wicked. Instead, He will use fire.
After the Chastisement, the Elect will live as we read in Revelation
20:1-6. However,
"....
when the thousand years shall be finished, satan shall be loosed out of
his prison, and shall go forth, and seduce the nations, which are over
the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, and shall gather them
together to battle, the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. And
they came upon the breadth of the earth, and encompassed the camp of
the saints, and the beloved city." (Rev 20:7-8)
Now, those who survive the last onslaught of satan's snares will become
the final Elect group - the "Seventh Cut".
This Seventh (and final) Cut of the Elect are those "...who had not adored the beast nor his
image, nor received his character on their foreheads, or in their
hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years."
(Revelation 20)
The created Universe will come to an end. This should be during or
about the year 2,832 - or about 825 years from now.
CONCLUSION
Even though the above illustration has been done with wide brush
strokes, its Divine coherence is breathtaking, and the Mercy of God
beckoning us to do His Will. How can we not love He, Who loves us
with such intensity?
EPILOGUE
May those who have Eyes to See this and Ears to Hear it, rejoice! For
those who cannot do so, we must pray. (Amongst the blind and deaf
there are still a few of the Elect who have not "awaken from their
slumber." The faster they respond, the less they will have to suffer. (8))
