Our Lady of Fátima

We must remember that S. Lucia wrote what the Virgin Mary said. Therefore, it must be read and intellectually processed as if being heard.

"You have seen hell where the souls of poor sinners go; to save them, God wishes to establish in the world devotion to my Immaculate Heart, if what I say to you is done, many souls will be saved and will have peace; the war (referring to WW I) is going to end; but if people do not cease offending God, a worse one will start (referring to WW II) during the Pontificate of Pius XI. When you see a night illuminated by an unknown light, know that it is the great sign that God gives you that He is going to punish the world for its crimes, by means of war, hunger, and of persecutions of the Church and of the Holy Father.

"To prevent this, I shall come to ask for the consecration of Russia to my Immaculate Heart, and the Communion of Reparation on the First Saturdays. If my requests are heeded Russia will be converted and there will be peace; if not, she (Russia) will spread her errors throughout the world, promoting wars and persecutions of the Church, the good will be martyred, the Holy Father will have much to suffer, various nations will be annihilated: finally my Immaculate Heart will triumph. The Holy Father will consecrate Russia to me, which will be converted, and peace will be granted to the world for some time. In Portugal the dogma of the Faith will always be preserved, etc." (here commences the undisclosed portion of the original secret (1)).

In addition, the above needs to be assimilated in conjunction with what Our Lady said to Sister Lucia in June 13, 1929...

"The moment has come in which God asks the Holy Father, in union with all the Bishops of the world, to make the consecration of Russia to my Immaculate Heart, promising to save it by this means. There are so many souls whom the Justice of God condemns for sins committed against me, that I have come to ask reparation: sacrifice yourself for this intention and pray."

Later, in an intimate communication, Our Lord complained to Sister Lucia, saying:

"They did not wish to heed my request. Like the King of France, they will repent and do it, but it will be too late. (3) Russia will have already spread her errors throughout the world, provoking wars, and persecutions of the Church; the Holy Father will have much to suffer."

RESPONSE and FULFILLMENT of PROPHECIES

As of January 1938, nothing had been done to respond to these requests. On January 24, 1938, Sister Lucia, the only living Fátima visionary - and much of the rest of the world, in Northern Europe and beyond - saw the sky turn crimson red from 9 P.M. to 2 A.M. Lucia knew that that was the sign from God that it was too late. Hitler started his invasions in March 1938, with the annexation of Austria; the war in Europe officially began on September 1, 1939. It was after this, on September 13, 1939, that the Bishop of Leiria started promoting acts of reparation on the First Saturdays, which Our Lady had requested ten years before.

In the same "spirit of delayed urgency", Russia was consecrated to the Immaculate Heart of Mary in 1942, 1952, 1964, 1982 and 1984. In the last attempts (1982 & 1984), after Russia had completely overrun the world with "its errors", the consecrations were done in closer conformity with the instructions from Our Lady as given to Sister Lucia in 1929.

Sister Lucia granted a rare interview to El Sol de Fátima (4) When they asked her whether the 1982 Consecration had been done correctly, she answered: "Yes. But late." This, of course is in perfect agreement with the intimate communication the Virgin Mary had with Sister Lucia after June 13, 1929.

Our Lord seems to have granted the temporary collapse of the Soviet Union as a show of His immense power. However, Russia did spread her errors from 1929 until now. Those errors have brought the world to the verge of a major world conflagration which shall soon commence.

NOTE Added on March 20th, 2002

On February 18th, 2002, we received an e-mail from J.L. regarding the veracity of the Message of La Salette. We deem the issue serious enough as to address it through this Note posted within The M+G+R Foundation Domain. The key portions of the e-mail follow:

This message is forwarded to you as you have a file or files on your site which promotes or supports the false message that the Blessed Virgin Mary spoke at La Salette the words to Melanie Calvat: "ROME WILL LOSE THE FAITH AND BECOME THE SEAT OF ANTICHRIST."

I urge you to seriously ponder the measures you ought take to mitigate the damage caused by your stand on this matter.

The M+G+R Foundation Comments: We are quite familiar with the concerted effort being made to discredit the Message of La Salette (6), the Messages through Montechiari and Fontanelle [Rosa Mystica] (7) and the Messages of Garabandal (8). All three contain severe, and very accurate (9), criticism of the members of the Clergy and Hierarchy of the Roman Catholic Church.

What other behavior should we expect from men, and the supporters of those men, who have placed their ecclesiastical position and related comforts and benefits ahead of the well being of the flock - most specially the most vulnerable members of the flock: the children?

Who, in his right mind would expect, say, Cardinal Law or Cardinal Egan, to endorse a Message from God, through His Mother, criticizing the debauchery of the clergy and their cover-up by the Hierarchy? Even the late Cardinal Spellman tried to torpedo the efforts of the Blue Army of Fatima but could not.

The M+G+R Foundation will not dignify such allegations against the Message of La Salette (6) with an open debate. This issue will be laid to rest, once and for all, by the following statement from Miguel de Portugal (10).

Even if Melanie Calvat would rise from the dead and state that she invented the statement: "ROME WILL LOSE THE FAITH AND BECOME THE SEAT OF ANTICHRIST", I, Miguel de Portugal, by the Grace of God and in His Name, proclaim from, and to, the four corners of the world that:

"ROME HAS INDEED LOST THE FAITH AND WILL SOON BECOME THE SEAT OF ANTICHRIST." (11)

In addition, regarding the statement about the mitigation of "...the damage caused by The M+G+R Foundation's stand on this matter." I pronounce, once more, that, compared with the Canonization of Mr. Escriva (12), any error that may inadvertently appear in the Domain of The M+G+R Foundation is minor when compared with the blasphemy of such perverted canonization (13).

(3) In 1689, one year before her death, Saint Margaret Mary tried by various ways and means to reach the 'Sun King', Louis XIV of France, with a message from the Sacred Heart of Jesus, with four requests: to engrave the Sacred Heart of Jesus on the royal flags; to build a temple in His honour where He would receive the homage of the Court: the King was to make his consecration to the Sacred Heart; and he should pledge his authority before the Holy See to obtain a Mass in honour of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. However, nothing was achieved. It seems that this message never even came to the knowledge of the King.

Only a century later, the royal family would respond, in the measure possible, to this message. Louis XVI, in 1792, conceived the idea of his vow to the Heart of Jesus, but he could only carry it out in the Temple prison, promising to fulfill all the requests communicated by St. Margaret Mary, after his liberation.
