Climate science should be less political, while climate policies should be more scientific. In particular, scientists should emphasize that their modeling output is not the result of magic: computer models are human-made. What comes out is fully dependent on what theoreticians and programmers have put in: hypotheses, assumptions, relationships, parameterizations, stability constraints, etc. Unfortunately, in mainstream climate science most of this input is undeclared.
To believe the outcome of a climate model is to believe what the model makers have put in. This is precisely the problem of today’s climate discussion to which climate models are central. Climate science has degenerated into a discussion based on beliefs, not on sound self-critical science. We should free ourselves from the naïve belief in immature climate models. In future, climate research must give significantly more emphasis to empirical science.

Our comment:
This is a reminder to those who still think that: (a) there is scientific consensus on climate; (b) climate-related political decisions are dictated by “scientific truths”.
Moreover, if one were to dig deeper, one should consider the number and stature of the experts behind declarations such as the one quoted above, compared to the high visibility of the climate slogans of mainstream politicians who, allegedly backed by “scientific consensus”, push the world in a single determined direction: that of a New World Order (2).

New study: Antarctic
ice shelves have gained, not lost, ice mass over the past decade
According to a recently published paper Andreasen et al., observations show that Antarctic ice shelves gained 661 billion tons of ice mass over the past decade. In the paper, the authors state: (2)
“Antarctic ice shelves provide buttressing support to the ice sheet, stabilising the flow of
grounded ice and its contribution to global sea levels.
Over the past 50 years, satellite observations have shown ice shelves collapse, thin, and retreat; however, there are few measurements of the Antarctic-wide change in ice shelf area. Here, we use MODIS (Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer) satellite data to measure the change in ice shelf calving front position and area on 34 ice shelves in Antarctica from 2009 to 2019.
Over the last decade, a reduction in the area on the Antarctic Peninsula (6693 km2) and West Antarctica (5563 km2) has been outweighed by area growth in East Antarctica (3532 km2) and the large Ross and Ronne–Filchner ice shelves (14 028 km2).
Overall, the Antarctic ice shelf area has grown by 5305 km2 since 2009, with 18 ice shelves retreating and 16 larger shelves growing in area. Our observations show that Antarctic ice shelves gained 661 Gt (1) of ice mass over the past decade, whereas the steady-state approach would estimate substantial ice loss over the same period, demonstrating the importance of using time-variable calving flux observations to measure change.”

Our comment:
Please note that the difference from previous estimation (by “steady-state approach”) to the result of these actual observations is in a factor of 30. Not a negligible amount. Note also the recent date of this study (May 16, 2023), as compared to other older studies or older news that one can find.

As we have stated before (1), the spiritual/supernatural domain has laws just as the physical domain does. [We are referring to natural laws like the law of gravity and not civil laws.]
If one gains knowledge of certain spiritual/supernatural laws one can start working miracles (2) – how else do you think the practitioners of the occult work their miracles? (Remember that Pharaoh's magicians could turn their staffs into snakes. – Exodus 7:11)
The problem lies in the fact that if we attempt to work miracles “outside God”, that is, not in accordance to His Will, there will be a high price to be paid.
Why? First, we are trying to “play God”. Second, we infer that we know what, and when, is really best and God does not. In either case – we drift away from God's Protective Wing (3) and when we do so we become easy pray for satan and his minions.
We ask two questions to illustrate one example: Which is the reputed center of voodoo practitioners? Haiti. What is the condition of Haiti – financially, political and socially? The worse in the Americas and even rivaling the other poorest nations of the world.
miguel de Portugal knows well many of those spiritual/supernatural laws and, many years ago, God tested him regarding what he would do with that knowledge. Through His Grace, miguel would not take advantage of them for, through that same Grace, miguel knew that whatever we ask of God with a sincere heart and truly defer to His Will it would be granted —or a better equivalent— at the perfect time and at no cost.
We think that the above have clarified our position regarding A Course of Miracles and any other New Age (5) gimmick.
