The purpose of this brief document is to illustrate how
God - in the Person of the Holy Spirit - works through His human
children in harmony with our free will.
DETAILS
For quite some time we have wanted to better express how God works
through His human creatures. miguel de Portugal has had a very clear
mental picture of it for quite some time yet, he could not
express/describe it properly. Now we have found a picture through
which, symbolically, we may be able to transmit the information.
As you may see in this image...
...there is an enclosed/isolating box with fitted gloves. This type of
equipment is used in laboratories where the technician needs to handle
the contents of the box without directly touching it nor becoming in
direct contact with the enclosed environment.
In the laboratory, the purpose of this type of box is, for the
technician, to avoid: (a) contaminating himself with whatever he is
handling; or (b) contaminating any of the contents of the isolation box.
The technician introduces his hands inside the gloves, which are fitted
to the isolating box, and then he can work with whatever is inside the
box without direct contact, yet, yielding the desired results.
Now, imagine that Creation is the inside of the box, we are the gloves
and God is the laboratory technician.
If those we are as pliable as the gloves in the laboratory equipment
and allow ourselves to be used by God, He can work marvels in Creation
without breaking His own rule, that is, without
direct
contact/intervention. He is working the marvels through us.
The more pliable we are, the more good God can accomplish in His
Creation... through man. When we offer resistance to be used, as if we
were gloves with a non collaborating will, there is very little God can
do through us.
Now, Jesus said:
Amen, amen I say to you, he that
believeth in me, the works that I do, he also shall do; and greater
than these shall he do. Because I go to the Father [John
14:12]
That is, the more we truly believe in Him and His Word, the more
pliable we are to His Will, thus the greater will be our abandonment to
the Will of God and the more He can accomplish through us in harmony
with our free will.
Jesus also said:
If you abide in me, and my words
abide in you, you shall ask whatever you will, and it shall be done
unto you. [John 15:7]
Such abiding condition will make it easier for Him (symbolized by the
lab technician) to grant whatever we request while, at the same time,
correcting what godless man has done to His Creation as He easily works
through us (symbolized by the very pliable gloves) in harmony with our
free will.
Why will we do "greater works that these" - that is, greater than the
ones that He had performed then? Primarily because He has gone to the
Father Who is greater than He is. Once He is with the Father, the
Redemption cycle has been completed and the power that the invocation
of the Holy Name of Jesus wields is now greater than when He walked
amongst men.
That is why He also said:
...whatsoever you shall ask the
Father in my name, that will I do: that the Father may be glorified in
the Son. [John 14:13]
Once again, the choice is ours. To what degree are we willing to allow
God to work through us? The more we allow Him, the more He will be able
to accomplish through us in His Creation, thus the better we will be
able to serve Him... and for our own benefit.
