The presentation of Jesus at the
Temple. The priest establishment did not recognize Him.
Do you wonder... what all, besides the obvious (1), is really behind the
story of the presentation of Jesus at the Temple and the meeting with
Simeon and Anna? (2)
Consider the following.....
No priest, pharisee or scribe
recognized Him.
Simeon - representing a devout but regular citizen of Jerusalem -
member of the "laity" - recognized Him.
Anna - representing a cloistered religious but not member on the
priest, scribe and pharisee establishment - recognized Him
Obviously, it is only the ones who have Eyes to See, regardless of
their state - regular citizen or self consecrated to God -
who will recognize Jesus then, and now.
Statistically speaking, the fraction belonging to the priest, pharisee
and scribe classes who would recognize Jesus, then and now, is
negligible.
As a bonus - we are also shown that the Holy Spirit of God was already
working on the people of God long before the Pentecost.
(1) The obvious being
the prophecies regarding His future and impact on the world.

Why are prayers not answered? What is
it that we are doing to block His generous action?
Do you ever wonder... why it seems that God simply does not
respond to some of our almost desperate prayers no matter how hard we
may try?
In a document (1)
published in the year 2005 we addressed the most common reasons for
unanswered prayers. However, if after reviewing said document one may,
in response, paraphrase what a certain ruler [Luke 18:18 - 21] said to
Him, after Jesus had listed all that was required to possess
everlasting life: All these
things have I done since my conversion, there still is one more thing that
one can do.
He is never the block, we are. However, we may not see what it is that
we are doing to cause the block therefore.... "place the ball in His
court" and, in all sincerity and with a wide open heart, ask Him What is it that I am doing to block Your
generous action and thus grant my request?
If you are sincere - you will soon find out.
One must also remember what we have published in the past in the Divine
Encouragement page:
You
shall be used. The Divine Force has no limit. It
is sufficient for all the work in the world. I only need the
instruments for Me to use.
The world does not need super-men, but super-natural men. Men who
will persistently turn the self out of their lives and let Divine
Power work through them. The world could be saved tomorrow if
only its politicians just let Me use them.
Let inspiration take the place of aspiration.
All unemployment would cease. I have always plenty of work to be done
and always pay My workers well as you will see, as more
and more you get the right attitude of thought about the work being
Mine only.
We are not "theorizing" on this subject matter. miguel has been living
it for nearly 25 years and could write a book full of examples.

Is permissible to receive Holy
Communion more than once in the same day?
Do you ever wonder... if a communicant may receive Holy
Communion more than once in the same day?
Canon Law (1)
is quite specific.... then vague.... about it; actually, it depends
greatly on the circumstances. In the simplest of cases - a person who
is not in danger of death - and ...who
has already received the Most Holy Eucharist can receive it a second
time on the same day only within
the eucharistic celebration in
which the person participates.
That is, within two eucharistic celebrations (two Masses); not one
eucharistic celebration (one Mass) and a communion service.

satan's last act: to spiritually
destroy feminity and the family
Do you ever wonder... if satan's First Act in his war against humanity
was to convince Eve to eat the forbidden fruit so that humanity,
Biblically represented by Adam and Eve, would become like (equal to)
God, then, what was his Last (yes, we have said "last") Act which will bring These
Times to a thundering close?
Let us "take it from the top". The last hope for humanity - to reverse
the apparently unstoppable slide into the abyss - was the integrity of
the family. A well ordered family produces the citizens who, one step
at a time, would change society, and thus the world. A family of
monotheistic believers - living their faith without fanaticism - would
produce solid citizens who could freely, constructively and
productively interact with each other and work toward a just world.
satan (who, as the saying goes, "was not born yesterday") knew this. he
also knew exactly what to do to make that fortress of values collapse
regardless of the faith they professed. satan mused.... if it worked
well the first time.... they (women) will fall for it again first, with
men, just as Adam did, following suit.
Before the fall, mankind "had it all" - we mean All! Amazingly enough, archeological
and anthropological finds continue to confirm that when man went from a
"happy go lucky" nomadic hunter to a "buckled down" farm worker,
exactly the misery which God announced, happened:
because thou ...hast eaten of the tree, whereof I
commanded thee that thou shouldst not eat, cursed is the earth in thy work;
with labour and toil shalt thou eat thereof all the days of thy life.
18 Thorns and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou
shalt eat the herbs of the earth. 19 In the sweat of thy face shalt
thou eat bread till thou return to the earth, out of which thou wast
taken: [Genesis 3]
In the New Testament, Jesus (and many of His Apostles) explained how a
male-female relationship should work for the benefit of a spiritually
healthy family. It was not a matter of who, man or woman, was better!
(As we have explained in a document (1), when all is said and
done women were the Crown of Creation. It is a woman, not a man, Who
wields the greatest power in the Universe; whatever that perfect
Daughter, Spouse and Mother, Mary, asks from the Divine and Most Holy
Trinity, She will obtain! More power than that does not exist.)
God has given us the "instruction book" so that relations between men
and women would work perfectly according to His Plan. Of course, women
must be equal before the law and have equal opportunities to fulfill
her potential – but this is to be her full potential as a woman,
not as a copy of a man. Had we been obedient to God's plan, a woman
would be someone who, while not being titular "head of the household,"
could manage to obtain all that her exquisite female instincts told her
were necessary for the good of the entire family (just as Mary
intercedes for all humanity, and just as Esther (2) interceded to save her
race from extermination).
Against this Divine teaching, satan has been carrying out his
counter-strategy. Taking advantage of real abuses against women in
certain social environments, satan started his campaign against the
alleged inequality of the sexes. he began selling to women the idea
that they could be equal to men; the Genesis parallel had been selling
the idea that mankind could be equal to God. Thus began radical
feminism, a rebellion against the Divine reality that each sex was
created specifically by God for a function.
As the feminist revolt progressed, brassieres went up in flames, make love and not war became the
password and, worst of all, the women who fell prey to this trap lost
an intangible and priceless attribute (which I can feel and understand,
but simply cannot fully explain) that made them the absolutely precious
creature that they were created to be.
So, dear brethren, the radical feminist revolt - which started in the
US and western Europe in the 1800s, and has spread worldwide since then
- was the Second - and we assure you - final great Fall of humanity
before the End of These Times.
That claim may seem exaggerated, but the awful spiritual toll taken
worldwide by radical feminism may be gauged by the global death toll
resulting from active promotion of legal and "morally justified"
abortion. The holocaust of the unborn is one of the great mass
murders of history. In the US alone, 50 million unborn babies have been
slain since abortion was made legal nationwide in 1973. Worldwide,
about one fifth of
all pregnancies end in abortion, for a global death toll of more than
40 million per year. (3)
We can give radical feminism the credit for most of these deaths. To
put it crudely, radical feminism is a deadly ideology, taking a toll in
lives which amply surpasses Nazism and Communism.
Given humanity's track record of falling for the same satanic tricks
over and over again, God will now provide the definitive correction to
the malady of the human race. He (not man!) will repeat what He did in
what we know as Noah's Flood; this time, just as He promised (4), without using water.
May God have Mercy on His Elect!

The need for God even from an
atheist perspective
Do you ever wonder... why those bio- and socio- "illuminated
scientists" waste so much ink and (hot) air explaining that all deities
are man-made since humans are born with "a need" to have deities upon
which place their faith?
In plain English: They claim - and go to incredible lengths to do so -
that we manufacture God or many gods because we are bio-genetically
programmed for that.
They fail to see that such being a universal human trait - just like
eating and breathing - such "bio-programming" must be imperative for a
healthy life.
Our readers know that we do not have the slightest doubt about the
reality of God; as a matter of fact - we just do not believe in God, we
know God! However, let us play "pin the tail on the donkey...."
Even if God or many gods were non-existent......
Since some level of faith in the unseen is as old as man itself,
wouldn't the logical behavior by the "illuminated ones" be to ensure
that the God or many gods promoted by "this" or "that" religion are as
beneficial for the mental and physical health of the humans just as the
Department of Health and Agriculture guidelines insure safe food?
Wouldn't the persistent effort to destroy the little true and healthy
faith left in the world be the equivalent of a worldwide campaign to
promote bulimia?
It is becoming more evident every day that the "illuminated ones" are
no more than the human equivalent of the "black holes" found in space.

If Pius XII were the last valid Pope,
there would not be valid Cardinals to nominate another
Do you ever wonder... if as many (incorrectly) claim that the Chair of
Peter is vacant since the death of Pius XII, and the "rule of the law"
is that the College of Cardinals is the only body that can elect the
next Successor of Peter, and the last Cardinal named by Pius XII is
probably long dead.... then, who could elect the next legitimate (by
their account) Successor of Peter after Pius XII?
We are sure than in some of the "cook books" of the Vatican Cafeteria,
someone must have found a "long lost recipe" that could be used to
prepare such "dish".
[We publish this just to illustrate the total incoherence of the many
claims made by the anti Vatican II groups (1) and not that it really
matters. It is a moot point - the Papacy, as it has been know for
centuries, ended long before H.H. John Paul II died.]

Natural disaters in the world - are
they a punishment from God?
Do you ever wonder... if God allowed the recent massive floods in
Africa - already forgotten due to the massive destruction caused by
earthquakes and tsunamis in the Pacific region - as a punishment for
the people in those regions?
Once again, we find the answer in the Holy Scriptures....
1 And
there were present, at that very time, some that told him of the
Galileans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices.
2 And he answering, said to them: Think you that these Galileans were
sinners above all the men of Galilee, because they suffered such things?
3 No, I say to you: but unless you shall do penance, you shall all
likewise perish. 4 Or those eighteen upon whom the tower fell in Siloe,
and slew them: think you, that they also were debtors above all the men
that dwelt in Jerusalem? 5 No, I say to you; but except you do penance,
you shall all likewise perish. [Luke 13]
Do notice the difference He makes between enduring suffering as the result of
sinful behavior and avoiding
suffering as the result of "doing penance" for oneself and on
behalf of others as He expects us to do.

Some important New Testament passages
ignored throughout the History of Christianity
Do you ever wonder... when the following passages seem to have been
added to the Gospel of Luke, ch. 9?
46
And there entered a thought into them, which of them should be greater.
47 But Jesus seeing the thoughts of their heart, took a child and set
him by him, 48 And said to them: Whosoever shall receive this child in
my name, receiveth me; and whosoever shall receive me, receiveth him
that sent me. For he that is the lesser among you all, he is the
greater.
and....
49
And John, answering, said: Master, we saw a certain man casting out
devils in thy name, and we forbade him, because he followeth not with
us. 50 And Jesus said to him: Forbid him not; for he that is not
against you, is for you.
and...
51
And it came to pass, when the days of his assumption were
accomplishing, that he steadfastly set his face to go to Jerusalem. 52
And he sent messengers before his face; and going, they entered into a
city of the Samaritans, to prepare for him. 53 And they received him
not, because his face was of one going to Jerusalem. 54 And when his
disciples James and John had seen this, they said: Lord, wilt thou that
we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them? 55 And
turning, he rebuked them, saying: You know not of what spirit you are.
Anyone who would objectively study the history of Christianity, and
Catholicism in particular, would
have to assume that they were introduced during the much
maligned (2)
Second Vatican Council.
Why, we ask in God's Name, such fundamental truths (and many others)
were trampled over for about 1600 years causing the complete failure of the
Evangelization Jesus Christ entrusted the Church which claims to
represent Him?
Simply because most of said Evangelizers never believed the Word of
God. They just used the Word of God to exploit and control the masses.
Do not ever forget the above so that you may understand the "Why?" of
what He will allow upon the alleged Evangelizers. (2)
