There are some very specific prayers which, in these times of "road Maps" and "Smart Bombs", can
be called "Smart Prayers" - that is: They go straight to the core of the problem and their
effectiveness is the highest possible since they have been given by God.

A. Have you ever stopped to think why with the billions upon billions of prayers and Masses Catholics have offered over the centuries the world continues to slip into the abyss? Even by the time of Francis of Assisi (1181 - 1226) God was asking him to repair His Church for it was already quite broken. The problem stems primarily from a trinity of errors:
(1) "We do not need to be very
specific in our prayers; after all God knows what we need" - is a very common, and very erroneous,
belief.
(2) "By just 'spitting' out the prayers or just 'mouthing' them, somehow, automatically, they will work" - most faithful believe.
(3) Most Catholics do not know how to pray because they have not been taught properly - a product of the failed Evangelization of the Churches of the East (Orthodox) and the West (Roman)
We will address each error in the hopes that many will understand
what has gone wrong.(2) "By just 'spitting' out the prayers or just 'mouthing' them, somehow, automatically, they will work" - most faithful believe.
(3) Most Catholics do not know how to pray because they have not been taught properly - a product of the failed Evangelization of the Churches of the East (Orthodox) and the West (Roman)
Error No. 1 - If we did not have to be specific in our requests to God because He "knows what we need".... Why in the world would Jesus have taught the Our Father to the disciples? That is a prayer with very specific requests. We must be specific just as Jesus taught us.
Error No. 2 - The prayers must come form the "trinity" of heart, mind and mouth. We should strive that our heart, with great faith, feels what our mind is thinking and our mouth is saying. Otherwise, why not record a Rosary on a tape and turn it on to play incessantly day in and day out? If you do so, you will see that the only result will be: (a) run down batteries and (b) a worn out tape (and an irate neighbor if the cassette player volume was too high....). The way most prayers are offered have the same effect. It is hard to do, but we must strive to do so and never give up in our efforts.
Error No. 3 - The invocation before a prayer is key and few people have been Evangelized and Catechized on this manner. Let us review the following example that should be used when we are trying to reduce abortion from a birth control procedure, as it is mostly used now, to just an aberration of society.
Eternal Father, invoking the Communion of Saints I offer the merits of
(this prayer) (this sacrifice) (this offering) as an act of reparation for the sins and offenses
committed by my sisters who are now pregnant and considering an abortion; sins and offenses for
which Your Divine Justice justly demands reparation before You can work the pleasure of Your Mercy
in their souls, draw them to conversion and, consequently, the abandonment of the consideration of
abortion. I ask this in the Name of Our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, Who Lives and Reigns with You
in union with the Holy Spirit - One God For Ever and Ever - Amen!
As we have explained elsewhere, there are some sins that we may have committed which basically shield us from the Merciful action of God. That is - some conditions must be met by a soul before God can "roll up His sleeves" and apply His Mercy to a soul steeped in sin. Therefore - we, invoking the Communion of Saints, because we are all members of the Body of Christ, are now offering, on behalf of another part of the Body of Christ, the reparation demanded by Divine Justice before God can apply His Mercy to the soul we are praying for.
In simpler world terms: When we have a headache - our head aches but it is by means of the hands, the eyes and the mouth - all parts of the same body shared by the head - that we are able to take an aspirin which will relieve the headache. The head by itself cannot do it.... some conditions must be met first.
Secondly, we are asking for their conversion for that is key to abandoning their preference for abortions. We do not want "a one shot deal" - we want the conversion of the individual in question, thus, we ask God for it - now - that we have already cleared the way for His Mercy to freely act on that soul.
Using the aspirin parallel - If the headache is a chronic headache caused by some disease - whether allergies or a brain tumor, we must go beyond the headache, we must strive to heal the disease which is causing the symptom. In the example that we use: Abortion is not a disease - it is a symptom of the condition of the soul.
Lastly, we ask using the "key" Jesus gave us: We ask the particular favor in the Name of Jesus Christ. Not "through" as many official prayers read. He taught us to ask in His Name. Why? Because Jesus Christ is the incarnate Word of God, thus, in essence, what we are asking God, the Father, is: "Grant this favor to us as Your Word told us You would."
What we explained above is what was meant by: "Smart Prayers"; prayers which yield results. We pray that this will serve many in improving the effectiveness of their prayer life.

While I hesitate to begin the year with more questions, I feel
compelled to ask a few:

The two witnesses are generally thought of as Elias and Henoch. If
so, Miguel is Elias, who then is Henoch? In the November '06 Points to Ponder
page, in one of your responses you stated "Remember, we
are not talking about the Catholic Faith for which defense we will be put to death in the
future..." Did the 1,260 days start with your announcement of Miguel's true
(spiritual) identity as Elijah? There are other questions I wish to ask, but these will
suffice for now. I understand as always that God may not will these questions answered at this
time (or at all), I just felt the need to ask.
I would also like to say that I feel blessed to live through these
times, I only pray for the strength that I will feel the same when the chastisements come. To you
all, and to Miguel especially, my deepest, most sincere thanks. You all know God better than most
of us, but I hope you also know that there are still sinners like me who appreciate your
efforts to lead us home. Again, thank you.

Likewise - miguel prefers to keep his eyes fixed on God and the manifestation of His Will through him. "Who is what" or "who is going to fulfill the other End of Times positions", etc. is left to "The Front Office" - That is: God.
Anything truly momentous that man can do is only because God Willed it. Man, without God, as we have repeatedly stated, is the most brute of the beasts. Therefore, let us ponder about the awesome greatness of God and what He can do through those who allow Him to be used in whatever measure He has deemed from all Eternity.
However.... there is an apparent "downside" to this: miguel must struggle for assistance - in the material world, of course - because the majority of humans like to be seen helping the "Gliteratti" - those who pompously claim to be "this" or be "that" and carry on as if they were. miguel has lost substantial assistance because "he did not act his part". Notice the verb is "act" and not "fulfill"; they knew that miguel was fulfilling "his part" - the problem was that the "Hollywood Glitz" was missing.
As miguel often says: "Thank God He IS God!"

A. We view the Providential positioning of "Super Tuesday" just before Ash Wednesday not so much as an immediate - right on that day - Apocalyptic type event but as: The outcome of "Super Tuesday" will somehow trigger the world's equivalent of Ash Wednesday.
We regret it if we led anyone to think that something was going to happen necessarily on Ash Wednesday - although is not a bad day for a symbolic "kick off" of the Apocalypse.

Tsunami Tuesday sounds like a date for a comet to strike the ocean, causing great tsunamis.
Any of those three names (in red above) would fit for a nuclear war or a global natural disaster.
And a comet, a war, or some other global disaster would produce lots of ash as the aftermath.
As usual, I hope that these hunches are unfounded.
This year, Easter is on March 23 - which is, according to one of my reference books, the
earliest Easter for the period 1999-2099. Easter rarely occurs before March 25, the Feast of
the Annunciation.

His Grace is all I have, all I can cling to in these days... as He numbers the days of my life I only pray that when my race is run His Grace will lead me Home... and then try to find comfort in that Assurance...
...my prayer for myself and for everyone is that He allows each of us to see, perhaps, a glimpse of the true nature and effect of our sins and I have a feeling that when the "warning" (1) comes from Heaven in the coming days each of us with a destiny among the angels will see himself (2) in all his sinfulness...

A. As we have said before - perhaps even more than once: In the Final Judgment each one of us is judged based on how hard we truly tried to sanctify ourselves and not how "holy" we may be. If we fall one million times, and each time we have risen and truly done all possible to avoid the same fall, He will only see all the sincere efforts that went into avoiding the next fall.
However.... some conditions do apply and perhaps they could be summed up thus: But he that shall scandalize one of these little ones that believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone should be hanged about his neck, and that he should be drowned in the depth of the sea. [Matthew 18:6]
This stern message may be found in three Gospels - Matthew, Mark and Luke - which underscores the gravity of the transgression.
As we have also said before: The term "little ones" does not exclusively refer to little children; it refers to anyone - regardless of age - whose soul is innocent and pure; i.e. unsoiled by the world.
The full extent of the message applies if we knowingly lead an innocent soul to sin.
For examples:
As you can see there are many, many "shades" of sin and such are the varied actions to be taken to avoid the sin in question. And, regarding the Judgment of the soul: We are glad that it is God the One Who does the judging since many factors are to be considered. Factors that maybe even the one being judged is unaware of.
Since we do not know what your specific situation is - we cannot state anything else beyond what we already have. However, repeating the warning:
Read: That sin must be avoided at all costs!

In the opposite extreme: A person who is an invertebrate liar. Those who, out of every five statements made, seven are lies! Assuming that they are not slanderous (i.e. destroying someone else's good name) - the measures taken to assist him/her from such lesser sin will certainly be milder than those used with the philandering husband.

Q. I have had for the last few days a deep, deep feeling of pain and impending peril.
I feel and incredible saddness for the world that is about to reap what has been sown. It is deeply troubling to me. Prayer helps me feel less pain sometimes. I think my question is this: I feel like everything hinges on the US changing the rest of the world.
I feel so much pressure as a citizen of the US to change the rest of the world. I know the US has more material things than others but I don't see while the US has the most responsibility to change the whole world for the best.
I am probably missing a basic fact. I feel the pressure to save the world through prayer and I feel that no one else shares their own responsibility.
Can you please help me personally to straighten this out for myself?
I hope I am not being foolish in asking this.

As you continue your offerings - satan will grow despondent and go elsewhere. Why "stick around" harassing you? he muses, he is wasting his time.
To the chagrin of Mr. Bush - No, it is not the responsibility of the US to change the world. It is the responsibility of all who - regardless of religion, race or gender - claim God as Father. For example....
As Kenya seems to be approaching the abyss already experienced in Rwanda, the international community is doing what they do best: Wringing its hands while traveling and dining on taxpayers money while yielding no results except for "hot air".
That is not correct - They are children of God, thus, our brothers and sisters in Christ who, in turn, compose the Body of Christ - the same Body we claim to be part of. Therefore, whomever persectues a finger in a body, also persecutes its foot and its eye, etc.
That they may not be Christians? So what? Who created them - satan? Of course not! They were also created by the same Father - our Father - thus, by temporal and Eternal definition: they are our brethren just the same.
No matter which theo-logic approach we take - the Heavenly instructions apply just the same.
Let us then continue to pray!

The following letter (1), which took the form of a document with various attachments, was first sent, in Spanish, to the Ambassadors of the key Western Powers accredited in Madrid, Spain, in August of 1994. Almost five years later, in February of 1999, the same document was sent, in English, to the Ambassadors of the same countries accredited in Washington, D.C.

what He has taught us to do in a case like this:
But I say to you, Love your enemies: do good to them that hate you: and pray for them that persecute and calumniate you [Matthew 5:44]Some may think: "They are not my enemies; they do not persecute me."

We, of course, will offer prayers and sacrifices for the resolution of your situation but we must also remind you of the Universal Road Map for the fastest and most effective solution. To wit:
As the saying goes "Let's take this (apparent) lemon and make a most refreshing lemonade with it!"
The recipe for that lemonade, and the explanation of how it works, follows:
For one, if there is something that I must learn for the Glory of God, I want to do so and, if this is the only way, so be it!

When suffering comes our way, Jesus Himself taught us to first ask for it to pass us by. However, He also taught us to always defer to the Will of God by letting Him decide whether it is needed that we suffer so or not. "Father, if you are willing, take this cup away from me; still, not my will but yours be done." [LK 22:42, MT 26:39, MK 14:36]
As we have discussed....
Suffering only has two purposes; and both are constructive.
(1) Helps a suffering individual to return to the right path. [Pain is the megaphone that God uses to assist the deaf in hearing Him.] (*)When we are facing situation (1), above, we should quickly ask God to help us see what we are blind to in our behavior and to help us correct our erred ways.(2) God needs our suffering to be used by virtue of the Communion of Saints, to assist other souls in their redemption. (*)
If we are facing situation (2), above, although the physical suffering may be great, there
will be inner joy and peace. A joy and a peace which only true collaboration with God can
bring.
In either case we must sincerely offer the suffering stemming from either situation for: Love of Jesus, in reparation for the offenses committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary and for the conversion of poor sinners.
I have experienced both and, we can assure you categorically: That "inner joy and peace" spoken about above cannot be described in human terms. Should you wonder why is this so....For one, if there is something that I must learn for the Glory of God, I want to do so and, if this is the only way, so be it!
In the other case - when we consider that most difficulties that we find in this journey are the work of satan and then we turn around and offer such suffering for: Love of Jesus, in reparation for the offenses committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary and for the conversion of poor sinners. we have, as the saying goes, "Truly crimped satan's style". Why should satan continue the harassment when all of it is converted into Glory for God, Reparation for Mary and the salvation of sinners?

First of all, as we have amply demonstrated in The Foundation of Faith (*), his Muslim background would not be, for us, a major concern.
Second, it seems that he did go to a madrassah school, but, as we understand it, a madrassah school is a school where they teach the Quran, along with subjects such as math and science. If madrassah schools are bad, then, all schools where they teach Judaism, and Christianity (and specifically, Catholicism), are also bad - which they are not .... unless they are operated by some undesirable sects within Christianity (or by fanatics in other religions). Let us not forget what was going on when Christianity was being practiced in the world as long as Islam has been practiced now. Islam's "birth date" has been set at ca. 610 A.D. Therefore, Islam has been practiced for ca. 1,397 years. Using the same basis, we must ask: "What was going on with the Christian world at about the year 1397 AD? " (***)
Make no mistake - we are not justifying any act by anyone that is not in keeping with what Jesus taught us by Word and Deed. We spot check the news - CNN Int'l., SKY News, BBC World - to see what is being fed to the world. It is not time consuming since they pick a few topics and hammer them into powder day in and day out - even though the rest of the world could be in flames.
Regarding the Iowa Caucus results - what we have not heard commented upon, by anyone, is why Obama was in a dead heat race for the No. 1 spot with Hillary - even before the actual voting in Iowa took place - when, not very long ago, he was straggling so far behind that it was embarrassing.
The newscasters must be afraid of Oprah and her upcoming Course in Miracles.... because it was after he appeared in her show, and she gave him her total support, that Mr. Obama was catapulted to a position breathing down Hillary's neck.

This is not a prophecy; just an observation... We recently stated as part of a mail out that: "... the next US Administration must match the stripes of the current Administration so that there is no change in the course of US Foreign Policy set the moment the Bush Administration assumed power in the year 2001 ".
Then, consider this: The 1st Bush Admn. had Colin Powell and C. Rice in very high profile positions; the 2nd Bush Admn. placed C. Cheney - in the end - is more of a Tonto than a Darth Vader - but it is all the same to us. ]
We found it fascinating that, since those string pullers are extremely racist, [the Illuminati (1) are not known for their "full integration" stripes...] they chose the age old trick to defuse even the slightest suspicion about who really is behind the scenes: Getting very high profile blacks in both B's Administration.
Logically..... Why not a black President whom they could "play like a violin" just as John Paul II (2) was played once "they" showed their cards to him and when it was too late for him to back out. "They" could not "play" Hillary any more than they could "play" John Paul I - thus his 33 day long Pontificate.

Regarding your recent mailing about the sad state of Britney Spears
(1) and mankind's future....
Thank you again.
You had previously assured me of your prayers for my son, age 2, who has a heart condition.
Today (January 4th) he had his pediatric cardiology appointment. What he has is an atrial septal defect - rather severe - that is not an emergency now, but over time will cause cardiac hypertrophy and heart failure.
He will therefore need surgery to fix the defect. The size of the hole is such that catheter treatment looks unlikely to work. It appears that he will require open-heart surgery.
I only want prayers in accord with God's will, and if he won't be needing his heart for a long life in its present condition, I don't require a miracle.
Nonetheless, I am responsible for his health and have to pursue the proper medical approach as if there will be nothing unusual for mankind in the next 100 years. The suffering and risk for the child is much, much less if the hole is small enough to be reparable through a catheter.
I only ask for prayers for a small miracle, therefore.

We wish to highlight the modifier "that" of "that future". That is - the future that would be if God would not intervene and purify the cesspool we have turned His Creation into. Being that this will not be the end of the world - there will indeed be a future.... a future that would not exist if God would not step in and prevent "illuminated man" from literally destroying it.

You may find the quotation you paraphrased in the New Testament:
First - Jesus is speaking about "the state of affairs" - that is: "Who knew what?" - at the time, was speaking to His disciples in the Mt. of Olives and not necessarily in the future.
Secondly, He states:
Thirdly, in the Lesson of the Fig Tree, just before the above quoted verses, Jesus states:
By "this generation" He meant the generation which "...shall see all these things...." not the generation that they were living through back then. The "things" He describes are clearly listed in Matthew 24: 15-28
He further warns us to be ready through the Parable of the Ten Virgins through Matthew 25:1-13 - lest some are not ready and be lost.
Then we must ask ourselves: If Jesus is so concerned about us being ready and warns us so, would then, God the Father, when the time comes, not even give a clue to His children, through His chosen ones, so that they wake up from their lethargic sleep of indolence and become ready?
Secondly - We are now looking at the End of These Times "in the face", and much later, we will face, literally, the End of Time. The conclusion of These Times, and then, the End of Time are succinctly described in the Book of Revelations Chapter 20.
During the period between End of These Times and End of Time we will live as Adam and Eve did (1) - in union with God but in Time. At the End of Time, the Elect (2) will live with God in Eternity.
We must keep in mind that the Book of Revelations is not written in a sequential form and that Biblical Prophecies in many cases cover two different epochs as we have illustrated with Paul warnings (3).
How we are aware of the year 2832 is not to be revealed at this point - but as we understand it - on or about that time the Created Universe ceases to exist, since it only exists in Time.
This is all that we will say about these matters at this time. Not everything miguel is aware of can be expressed in words and some issues are still incomprehensible to him like how are Time and Eternity (4) connected. He knows that there is "a continuum" connecting them but every time he meditates about the functioning of that continuum he can go so far and then the concept escapes him.

fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is
nigh: So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even
at the doors. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these
things be fulfilled. Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass
away.

By "this generation" He meant the generation which "...shall see all these things...." not the generation that they were living through back then. The "things" He describes are clearly listed in Matthew 24: 15-28
He further warns us to be ready through the Parable of the Ten Virgins through Matthew 25:1-13 - lest some are not ready and be lost.
Then we must ask ourselves: If Jesus is so concerned about us being ready and warns us so, would then, God the Father, when the time comes, not even give a clue to His children, through His chosen ones, so that they wake up from their lethargic sleep of indolence and become ready?
Secondly - We are now looking at the End of These Times "in the face", and much later, we will face, literally, the End of Time. The conclusion of These Times, and then, the End of Time are succinctly described in the Book of Revelations Chapter 20.
During the period between End of These Times and End of Time we will live as Adam and Eve did (1) - in union with God but in Time. At the End of Time, the Elect (2) will live with God in Eternity.
We must keep in mind that the Book of Revelations is not written in a sequential form and that Biblical Prophecies in many cases cover two different epochs as we have illustrated with Paul warnings (3).
How we are aware of the year 2832 is not to be revealed at this point - but as we understand it - on or about that time the Created Universe ceases to exist, since it only exists in Time.
This is all that we will say about these matters at this time. Not everything miguel is aware of can be expressed in words and some issues are still incomprehensible to him like how are Time and Eternity (4) connected. He knows that there is "a continuum" connecting them but every time he meditates about the functioning of that continuum he can go so far and then the concept escapes him.
