Letters/Questions - Addressed on  March 2005

From DMS @ USA [Published on March 30, 2005]

Relayed Question/Concern.   A reader has taken a combative - but always "humble" - position in reference to our statement published in the News Commentary Post of March 27th. Specifically our statement:

We are not impressed with the theatrical religious outpouring by so many Christians in the U.S. How come they are not doing the same for the 8 million humans who die every year because they are to poor to live? These brethren of Terri Schiavo are also children of God and while most of these theatrics performers - without a doubt - could feed millions with the excess of goods and resources, spiritual (*) and material, that they have available to them, they chose to look the other way.

A. Allow us to explain ourselves by relating a true story.

In Houston, Texas, during the late eighties, the pro-life movement was very active - mostly on the streets demonstrating and making public displays of piety and prayer. A behavior foreign to the teachings of our Lord and Master - Jesus Christ. A behavior He actually denounced. [Matthew 6:5-8]

From this group - a couple (he was a soft spoken and level headed Engineer for a major Engineering firm) truly illuminated by the Holy Spirit of God decided to do it the right way (Yes - we have said, and with God given authority
[Luke 20:1-8] - the Right Way).

They instituted an evening of Prayer and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament at the Annunciation Church in downtown Houston with the objective being the conversion of the abortion promoters and, thus, the end of abortion. Just as Jesus commanded.
[Matthew 5:43-48]

We "signed up" for that and hardly missed a week. It was truly wonderful. The street marching and displayers of public piety were invited... and they did not show up. In addition, in their inflammatory "pro life" bulletins they never publicized said hour of Adoration to End Abortion.... such was their "Catholicism" and "true concern" to end abortion.

Our little group of less than ten (!) dwindled to the organizers, m de Portugal and two more. Eventually it was canceled "due to lack of interest" - literally. However, the public displays of false piety and hypocritical religiosity to end abortion continued unabashed.

We have seen this behavior over and over again and continue to denounce, one and all, the theatrical display of religiosity as worthless except for driving people away from God and achieving nothing else. Fanatics are fanatics - it does not matter what disguise is used or under what banner they group themselves. Jesus  had one adjective for them which He used frequently: Hypocrites! [Matthew 23:13-36] [Luke 11:37-52]

Of course, there are some fine individuals who, due to lack of proper Evangelization, and desirous to do something to end abortion will take to the streets with very good intentions. Our statements are not addressed to them. We are addressing those who, dripping in false humility, claim that they know better and act contrary to the Teachings they claim to uphold.

 Q.   For those of us who have been following various websites over the years in an attempt to understand where we are on the "End Times" calendar, and also trying to sort the truth from the hype concerning various prophecies, the impending demise of John Paul II would appear to call into question whether some expected events will unfold as we had been expecting them to, for
* It would clearly be absurd for any assassination of the holy father as depicted in the "Third Secret of Fatima" to take  place.  Therefore a question must be posed as to whether the version which contained the depiction of this event was flawed, or perhaps God lessened the severity of what was to take place.  Will we ever know the truth.

* For those who have expected this pope to declare the "Final Marian Dogma" which they understand to be a pre-requisite for the "Triumph of the Blessed Virgin", which some also equate with the Second Pentecost, it must also be highly  unlikely that John Paul will ever be healthy enough again to undertake such an initiative.

 * For those who believe that this pope will live to see the Miracle of Garabandal, then either the Miracle is immanent within the next few months, or the pope will not live to see it.

Could you comment on the above points and perhaps summarise from your own understanding what further significant events (if any) will involve John Paul II
Many Thanks,

A.  Most of the answer to your very valid questions and concerns may be found in our response dated March 14 (in this same document below).

Regarding the "revelation" of the Third Part of the Secret of Fátima we refer you to our document dealing with said matter.

Regarding the fact that H.H. John Paul II is supposed to see the Miracle announced in Garabandal - Padre Pio saw it before he died. A young priest in Garabandal - very early in the period of the apparitions - also saw it just before he died in joy while returning from a trip to Garabandal. Man normally forgets (and this is logical) the reality of Eternity and its relationship to Time.

If to all of the above you add the information on the Note expanded on March 25, 2005, in our page of Our Lady of La Salette, you should have as clear a picture as God will allow you to have now. For the same reasons Jesus spoke in parables we cannot make any clearer.

 Q.   The Terri Schiavo situation in US - What are your feelings on this matter?

A.  We shall fully answer this question with a true story - which m de P will never forget unless God Wills it.

A young couple - early thirties. Both healthy and not a hint of anything medically wrong. The young woman is the daughter in law of an associate (associate from Parish work, psychological counseling and work with wives and children of alcoholics) of miguel de Portugal.

The young woman falls into a deep coma - cause unknown. She is on life support in one of  the best places in the US for this. M de P's associate calls him seeking spiritual assistance. She calls back so that he attends a family meeting with the attending medical staff and family regarding what to do with the young woman. It was obvious that the medical staff wanted to get her off life support since, according to them, she was brain dead. m de P pointed this out to the family - in case their grief did not allow them to see it. Family insists and she remains on life support.

Later on, while m de P was in deep prayer interceding and pleading with Jesus, personified as the Infant Jesus of Prague, for the needed miracle (she had small children), he received unmistakable and external physical signs that the solicited Grace was to be granted. He called his associate and told her to be at peace - that her daughter in law was going to be restored back to a normal life. Since the decision had been made to keep her on life support, m de P felt he did not have to do anything else to ensure that she be kept like that for a bit longer (it has been over fifteen years since this took place and the memory is not quite clear, but he feels that the time frame given by God for full restoration was not exceeding a month).

Next day, he was visiting a quadriplegic who had died as the result of a car accident but due to his tenacious mother's prayers, he was returned to life.

In comes a call thorough the pager and m de P responded to it. His associate was calling - desperate - because her son had decided (was talked into it by the physician in charge) to remove his wife from life support system. In her case, that would be death in just a few minutes. m de P pleaded, insisted and begged that she throw her mother's weight/influence on the issue and block the disconnect order given by her son until he reached the hospital and talked with him son in person.

m de P requested that the mother of the quadriplegic travel with him to the hospital as a living example that God can do it if He so Wills! She graciously acceded to his request.

With horn blowing and the car's lights blinking they raced to the hospital... but m de P will never forget the ensuing scene: When the elevator doors opened at the ICU at  the hospital, his associate met him with: "The have just unplugged her!"  He felt as he had been slapped since God's Goodness and Mercy blatantly rejected.

The young woman's husband will never know that he simply killed her... until he crosses the veil - and experience not be to be wished upon anyone! If they had believed and kept her on life support, she would have been back to normal in a very short time.

We trust that we have answered your question in full... and, yes, the reader may share this story with assurance regarding its veracity - everyone in this story has a face and a name, so does the city and the hospital.

Nonetheless, the reader should keep in mind that: God does not need public demonstrations for Him to act. God only needs Faith. Furthermore, any act of fanaticism - no matter how thick the applied disguising coat of piety - will be counterproductive. Fanaticism is not part of Christianity - no matter what message organized religion may, by words, action or inaction, convey.

We pray that the reader realizes that the Schiavo tragedy-turned-into-circus is a direct consequence of the Demise in Faith that we keep talking about.

However, keep in mind: Representatives of organized Religion may stain the Faith by their behavior but that does not affect God and His Action if one's Faith is anchored in the right place: In God AND NOT man!

 Q.  I have found, talking to many people who believe in the validity of the Garabandal prophesies and Fátima prophesies, many of us believe that our present Pope, John Paul II will play a vital role.

Due to the present health of our dear Pope, it seems that we have to be extremely close to fulfillment of these prophesies (the *warning* *miracle/sign* and the "true consecration of Russia to the immaculate heart of Mary.   I know that the fulfillment is on God's timeline, not ours, but it seems like we are about "one second" to midnight.
How do you feel about the "time" we have left before the fulfillment?

A.  The most comprehensive way to answer your very valid questions is to review our document The Symbolic Manifestation of the Steps Nos. 1 and 2 of the Sequence of Events Leading o the End of These Times and all links associated with it.

For the second, and very specific part of the question,  we shall refer you to apparently off-the-cuff remarks made by a 17 year veteran of the CIA. The remarks reached us yesterday:

"Every country in the world is betting everything it has on this one hand (meaning: Peak Oil and the effects on global economies) knowing that after 2007 or  2008 the game ends. The map of the future after that is unknowable and, to large extent, irrelevant. That's why Rumsfeld has won the battle to control American intelligence operations and  why the new National Intelligence Director John Negroponte is getting the job."

Said veteran knows for different reasons - but he is not far off the target, although the details and outcome will not be as he believes. God indeed has other plans - a "surprise" conclusion which miguel de Portugal has been announcing for the last 14 years.

Remember, satan must serve God and, just as God used Judas' betrayal to save mankind one time, He will do so again.... crucifixion included; this time, of the Mystical Body of Christ.

 Q.  Does 'Pray for the conversion of sinners' mean that sinners (namely non-believers) should convert and become a Roman Catholic or just a
conversion of the heart to Our Lord Jesus Christ, is meant? Does it really matter if a conversion does not lead one to become a member of
the catholic church?
Thank you in advance and God bless,

A.  The best way for us to explain the meaning of 'Pray for the conversion of sinners' is utilizing the Parable of the Prodigal Son as it was further explained in our Document "Do Not Despair - Do Not Give Up!"

When we pray for the conversion of sinners, we are presenting God the "ransom" justly demanded by Divine Justice so that He may utilize said ransom, in the manner that we have explained in yet another document. As the result of said magnificent Divine mechanism, the sinner - the Prodigal Son - becomes aware of his situation, turns around and begins his journey back to the Father through Jesus Christ.

No, it does not mean that the individual must become a member of the Catholic Church. However, as we have explained, the Roman Catholic Church contains the greatest concentration of truths revealed by God to man, and, as with the Orthodox Church, it has a treasure trove of Sacraments which are truly supernatural assistance in our journey back to the Father. Nonetheless, that still does not mean that one has to be a Roman Catholic to be saved as it is implied in far too many cases.

Yes - Jesus Christ is an absolute requirement for Salvation, however, those who do not know Him as the result of the failure of the Roman Catholic Administrators will be given an opportunity by God before the final body-soul separation is completed. We are aware of the spiritual mechanism and are awed by the Unfathomable Mercy of God but, how it works, it is not for us to reveal at this point. It is not necessary. Just believe in the Infinite Mercy of God!

 Q.  Are you saying self gratification is not a mortal sin?  Please explain clearly.

A.  Unfortunately we have a very little time to correct what it has taken Rome to demolish in the last 1600 years - most specially in the area of sexuality.

For now - we suggest that the Faithful focus on what really went wrong so that the appropriate emergency compensation procedures may be applied while placing the sexual agenda on hold, after all Jesus admonished us:

"And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted unto heaven, shalt be brought down to hell; for if the mighty works, which have been done in thee, had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day. But I say unto you, That it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment, than for thee." [Matthew 11:23-24]

Commentary: Capernaum's transgression was unbelief; lack of faith in Jesus Christ. In spite of the mighty works which Jesus Christ did in
Capernaum they refused to believe in Him.

If time permits, we shall tackle the whole sexual issue in the future.

Regarding your specific question: What we stated on January 27, 2005, to RD under Item No. 4, stands as written. For more information regarding Mortal Sin, in accordance to the Roman Catholic Catechism, please access our document in which we discuss the Sin of Denial.

We also recommend that the Faithful keep in mind what is clearly stated in miguel de Portugal biographical sketch:

Should you believe what miguel de Portugal says through the pages of The M+G+R Foundation?
You do not have to. What is written is only for those who have eyes to see and have ears to hear. Woe to miguel if he does not speak loud and clear. Nothing has changed in the manner in which God has communicate with His children in the last 6,000 years.

 Q.   Peace to you!   I have been reading your rich site and was surprised to see that m de P is Roman Catholic AND Eastern Orthodox (Antiochian).  I didn't think this was possible from either East or West points of view.  If it is true why would he feel the need to belong to the Eastern Orthodox if the sacraments and teaching of Roman Catholicism was valid?

In addition...

After reading many of your sites on how the Church has lost the faith i wonder why I should stay seeing scripture in Isaiah and Revelation say to "Come out of her..."  Why should I stay if the church has lost the faith AND scripture says to come out of her?  What is your take on this?

You are a bit naive on this subject I fear.

A.  We shall ask three questions which will lead you to the answers to your own questions, if God so Wills.

(a) Was Jesus practicing Judaism or Christianity while He walked amongst men?

(b) Were Peter and Paul and the other ten Apostles members of the Roman Catholic Church or the Eastern (Orthodox) Catholic Church from where Mary was Assumed into Heaven?

(c) Did Jesus abandoned Judaism? He clearly stated  through Matthew 5:17-18 that:

Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill.  For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

Did  a "new" foundation for the Faith was born?  Obviously not;  the Word of God  which existed from all Eternity Was, Is and Will Ever Be The Only Foundation of the Faith?

Jesus separated the Administration of Judaism from the Faith itself.... He "brought out" (Isaiah)  the true children of God from under the hypocritical yoke of the Administration of Judaism [Luke 11: 37-52] , which was weighed down with man made traditions established for the sole perpetuation of said Administration, but He did not bring them out from the Foundation of the Faith itself as He clearly stated in Matthew 5:17-18 (quoted above).

Nothing has changed, and that is why now in the final preparations for His direct and open intervention in the world affairs, miguel de Portugal, in His Name and at His Command, clearly separates the Administration of Christianity from the Faith itself and repeats, as another warning, to today's Levites what Jesus said through Luke 11:37-52

About miguel de Portugal being naive...  According to a dictionary, "naive" means:

1. Simple and guileless; artless: a child with a naive charm.
2. Unsuspecting or credulous.
3. Showing or characterized by a lack of sophistication and critical judgment.

Miguel de Portugal sincerely appreciate the unsolicited reminder from His Lord and Master, delivered through you, RD, since He clearly stated:

[Mark 10:15-16]   Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein.   And he took them up in his arms, put his hands upon them, and blessed them.

If the above is not clear for some, please read the following letter and response. We do not plan to address this issue again any time soon.

From FP @ USA [Published on March 1, 2005]

 Q.   I have followed your writings for years and learned from them. My only complaint with you is ---you don't come out and say exactly what you mean.  This "eyes to see"  does not always furnish enough information.

A.  When we state that "something" is to be seen and heard by those who have "Eyes to See" and "Ears to Hear" it is because God Wills that we do so. Why? you may ask.

Thousands upon thousands read the documents we publish in His Name and, logically, not everyone is at the same level of spiritual development and/or awareness. In addition, others are destined to never "see it" or "hear it" [Luke 8: 9-10].  In this way - it is left in God's Hands to dispense, through the Illumination of His Holy Spirit, the information to those who need to see and hear it how and when He deems it appropriate.

We are not "being coy" as someone would think and/or say by playing games. We are at His service and it is He who, as it is said in the world, "calls the shots". All Glory is His and, if there is a mistake, m de P will assume it, with the absolute certainty that He will amply make up for it. This is why He IS God and why He IS Almighty - the Universe and its Past, Present and Future is in the Palm of His Hand regardless of the condition of the health of Peter or any his successors over the last 1900+ years. Any other behavior would idolatry, as we are warned in the Acts of the Apostles (14: 8 -18), where we read about Paul and Barnabas' visit to Lystra.

 Q.   Have you read Desmond Birchs book on antichrist and coming muslim invasion, he uses Catholic saints and mystics throughout the centuries, very accurate, very telling.

Only one problem, it doesnt jive with your dribble. Read it and learn something about your faith.

Antichrist is many year away, fool.

A.  How Blessed are we!  We have just come across this letter which we received just 15 days after the New York-Washington catastrophe of September 11, 2001

The letter and our response may be found at  We have been identified as fools!
